Together, they are working to bring back the fear that criminals once faced, for The Shadow knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men.>Clothing/ArmorSo I'm going for the feel of The Shadow, but the fedora and opera coat are a tad out of date. Isaiah is going to be wearing more tactical gear, body armor, a utility belt, etc., all under a long hooded trench coat. Almost everything is black or shades of black, with the inside of the trench coat being red.>Gear/TechIsaiah, unfortunately, has no idea how The Shadow's hypnosis worked. The journals tell of a Yogi priest in India, but Isaiah and Suresh have developed their own methods to emulate those abilities.First, his Shade Projectors. Small floating spheres with holographic projectors and spy equipment. Through these, Suresh can identify targets and, if given enough time, conduct background checks to gather intel so Isiah can unnerve opponents with personal information. The holograms can project fake targets, making it seem that The Shadow is immune to bullets, or can seemingly teleport, moving out of view and appearing somewhere completely different.Second, there is a piece of tech that Isaiah was developing himself. The face mask allows him to reverberate the tiny ear bones of anyone within a certain distance, either in mass or a singular select target. Repostin' my request from last thread. I'm looking for a piece for Mr. Dawn, the party cleric. Ideally of a quiet moment at rest where he's tending to his gear and enjoying the calm that comes with it.His current project is trying to restore an enchanted, perpetually rusty saber the party found in a ruin. Even when frustrated by the lack of progress he ought to still have a calm smile on his face as he diligently sets about his work.Aside from the suggested scene and posing, a basic "armed and at the ready" pose could work just as well. Same demeanor, but with a slightly hardened expression.

Try to trim the fat and narrow it down to the purely visual aspects of the character and maybe a little bit of inspiration/vibe, if the artist wants to know more they'll certainly ask.Secondly, the picture collage is better trimmed down to the "most preferred" version of inspiration images, for example instead of 4 different face masks pick your favorite or something. Got this guy that’s like a star wars version of Brock Sampson. Requesting a fiend patron. In a warlock only game where the main gimmick is that the party is on a journey to unseal their respective patrons in exchange for a place int the new world they seek to create. The other gimmick is that all our patrons fucking hate each other.I chose the fiend patron, a wendigo looking freak the has an ancient beef with one of the parties celestial patron. In order to piss him of more, my patron has taken up pretending to angel with holy intentions to steal followers and potential pact makers from the celestial.
Requesting char art of a small, eyeless, goblin sized Venus Flytrap themed Leshy with hints of Green/Horned dragon heritage (big thorn that looks like a rhino horn, scale-like leaves, etc). Basic premise is that he sprang to life from a bit of a horned dragon's blood spilling onto the ground onto a flytrap. Character/class wise, he's a sorta guerilla tactics Wood/Water Kineticist (Pathfinder 2e) with a bit of Rogue mixed in that summons trees to block attacks/roll over enemies, shoot splinters, breathes poison or heals allies.

Everyone was thinking it was a monster, since looks nasty and lives in the sewers, plus the fact that its combat approach was just scaring criminals until they give up. An example would be it bursting out of the sewers as a tentacle tongued crocodile to save a would be rape victim, then breaking the beast's jaw to show off what it assumed was a friendly face and whisper 'don't be afraid, I'm a superhero'So yeah, others player hunted it and they became friends as the green crystal girl saw that the meat thing is going above and beyond to not hurt, only scare. It took place in New York, a 100 years after a demon invasion (everyone thought it was aliens) during which people got superpowers. So half of the city is abandoned slums and half is basically a utopia. My monster lived in the slums, protecting/scaring the downtrodden. It was surprisingly hopeful in vibes, tho.System started as M&M, but we abandoned it quickly into simplified version to keep the ball rolling faster over text.

One of its flaws was that the body would morph at a whim if it was not concentrating on a specific shape. If it liked you and you had green eyes with a tall build, it'd elongate and start sprouting green peepers of its own. If it was angry, it'd sharpen up in places, scared and it'd bulk up to scare you. In this image, I imagine it melting into a half puddle, like spaghetti dropped onto the floor, over the weight of its only friend chastising it. One thing I liked to do, is to make it's tentacles interlocking hands, describing it almost like hands of different ages and races stitched together. It also would gag the people it restrained with a body part in their mouth, cause screams made it kinda tempted to kill and eat them.As for heroine, her footwear never came up. I imagine her having heels, honestly, since her whole schtick was escapism and her hero form was basically what a child would picture a superheroine to look like. Then again, sneakers would work too. Thigh highs is a great idea, cause I'm a pest, lmaoCape can be a bit shorter, tho. Since I remember other player describing it as half-cape.

My DM has been putting dragons into every part of our game, to the point of giving us dragon powers, turning us into dragons, and giving us dragon girlfriends. The gloves also have very nice shading and highlights, and the basket hilt is actually wicked cool. The corset and boots also have that perfect amount of leather shine that I love, so big bonus points there.As for nitpicks and criticism, the sword's handle seems a bit too textured, makes it look kind of lumpy. The glass looks like it's spilling out from halfway up rather than over the rim, and the hand bent inward for a closed-fist grip on a chalice is in all honesty a bit uncouth. I also feel the collarbone shading getting cut off by the choker gives the sense the head is more turned relative to the torso than it actually is.All in all, fantastic work, Anon. I have a Barbarian with a mono-dread ponytail because the big stiff fluff of DBZ BT3 Zangya's hair model stuck in my subconscious. My Ranger wears all blue because of the knights in Quest for Camelot. My Warlock is literally an r63 Ganondorf and my Fighter is a human version of Claw from the catman platformer game of the same name. My NPC pawn broker has the ooooool' prospector voice, the most recent villain my players killed was a skeletal Starscream, the recruited Monk DMPC is just Adamant from Land of the Lustrous but with a white robe and different personality. My intended-to-be-attractive lady characters tend to be bottom-heavy purely because weebery had burnt me out on cleavage harlots.I also have an autism for practical fashion. Long skirts with leg openings for running. Bandoliers of pouches for potions or caltrops or what-have-you. Armor or lack thereof to inform an outside viewer of the character's mentality or (desired) caste. My Wizard and Monk both dress like le brown peasantry, the latter as a matter of eschewing wealth and the former as a matter of remaining inconspicuous. I have a Fighter and Bard that are both pirates, but the Fighter has a big hat he sticks out to his subordinates on the battlefield, while the Bard dresses very simply due to being a grunt sailor with a great voice for shanties.My final advice is you don't have to like the character's design; it's not you. I'm neither a 6'4 amazon with leather armor and a ponytail, nor a 3'5 gnome that wears an illusory hat, nor a 5'10 soldier that moonlights as a carnival ringleader, but they are and will dress according to that and their personality.
