I think matched play and narrative rules need a more decisive split. Like Gulliman should be strong, but if they made him as strong as they “should”, he’d be broken. So now there’s a situation where the guy has the Emperor’s sword without any sort of anti-Demon/Chaos at all. They should give him a broken data sheet for campaigns or narrative play, and have matched play/tournament rules nerf it like how Boarding Actions nerf so many datasheets for the game mode.

We did a big 6 vs 1 event at my lgs where the owner brought his warlord titan and we gave it 300 wounds. It was really fun but we were initially going to give it 500 and came to consensus that was probably excessive and dropped the count. If it was an official rules pack with 500 wounds we probably would have had less people willing to join in and also would encourage people to meta build against that rules pack, which isn't in the spirit of narrative.
