Repostan. Ordered the seraphon spearhead (carnosaur one) to dip my toes into AoS. I definitely count as a total war refugee but ToW feels a bit too grounded for me, I love the AoS factions though the worldbuilding itself sounds like a massive effort in justifying its own existence. There shouldn't be any gaps, but look into sprue goo if you're worried about that - people put bits of sprue in their cement and let it melt into a viscous goo that'll fill gaps and dry as regular plastic so it can be sanded and such. Plastic glue or cement is actually just a solvent plus a thickener which melts the sides and then evaporates, leaving the melted sides welded. The fact that this glue only works on plastics and GW minis are polystyrene inclines me towards this one. If you want to make sure it's the right stuff, as said, see if you can weld two random pieces of sprue together. Ignore the instructions and just apply the glue and press two pieces of sprue together and see if it welds within 30 seconds.
