I like that (based on what little I've actually watched of Critical Role) he legitimately seems very passionate about TTRPGs. 90% of the cast will sit and do twitch acting over-reactions to everything being said by the DM when they're playing. When Mercer is playing instead of DM:ing, he listens and is 100% focused on what the DM/other players are saying. He seems to be a very humble guy, which is rare in his business.Having said that, I loathe Critical Role and his TTRPG (can't remember the name) as equally.
