My response that it "Doesn't promote gameplay" is in the macro sense too. Knowing Blight is present in a format simply doesn't alter how you deploy threats or navigate the game. If I were to change it, I"d add something like>"puts a -1/-1 counter on a creature they control with the highest/lowest power/toughness."So that, even though the on-board decision is still usually obvious, it would have some impact on the macro gameplay of when and how you deploy threats.Anyways yeah, I think it's a great keyword overall, shockingly simple for how dedicated WotC is to making the most bloated abominations possible these days, but could be better.

Despite the existence of the mana system, Magic is steadily approaching a Yugioh-like state. We are already at a point where players complain about getting punished for overextending and not paying attention to their opponent's untapped lands. The only way to fix Magic is to slow the game down by printing weaker cards.
