>>97176049>TQA mul gladiator/psi warrior. Maybe half s dozen. He’d give it his best shot.
TQ: Orc Druid, could probably fit at least four. Wouldn't see the purpose in doing so but would do it if pressed to without fuss.
>>97176049>How many eggs could your character (or last character you got to play) fit in their mouth? is it at least 5?She's 4'8, so probably 2 eggs at most.
>>97176443Anon, she'll never get large if she can't fit in four dozen eggs every morning.

Are there any non homebrew d&d monster types besides slaadi that lay eggs in the victim?
how do you handle exceedingly large monsters? we're talking the size of the countryside. i think running it as a building with siege rules is a good start, but i cant help but feel like this approach is missing something
>>97176641Not eggs specifically from what I recall. Mind Flayers and the like have their whole tadpole thing going on obviously. Carrion Stalkers are also one that spring to mind, although that's technically larvae and not eggs. Gas Spores are another that functions similarly, but again, technically spores not eggs.
>>97176506She already was large at one point. She used to be over 8 feet tall due to being part storm giant, but she spent a long time in the fey wild and became fey-touched and got shorter. So she probably could have fit 4 eggs in her mouth back then.
>>97176678>size of the countrysideAt that point you are far beyond the point where it can be treated as a monster. That's just a mobile dungeon. And like any dungeon, bombarding it with trebuchets and other siege weapons is a really boring way to clear a dungeon.

Why aren't gnomes going around doing shit to sway the course of history like elves do?They live 500 years, are intelligent, curious, and have a sense of humor. You're telling me they haven't banded together to do something with their minds and lifespan? Be the shadow government of a human empire with puppet leaders held in control with enchantments and illusions? Create a cult around a fake god to sow hilarious chaos with random rules and pit evil against evil? Blow up the moon? I can understand why halflings are just fine with leisure time but why are gnomes content to be hidden and just observing?
>TQI have three>Halfling clericShe's like 2'8, so probably not many. Like one? Two maybe?>Drow wizardHe's too dignified (or full of himself) to try it. Plus he's never seen a chicken, eggs to him would be something like ostrich eggs.>Human PallockSo many, and he's enough of a braggart that if you challenged him to it he'd put his whole effort into it
>>97176857>Why aren't gnomes going around doing shit to sway the course of history like elves do?Who's to say they can't? You could basically have that happen in your own campaign.
How do you handle inspiration in your games?
>>97177016>5.5e>Humans get it for free>I added a variant human that gets +1 to all attributes (replacing the background bonuses) and 2 free skills. Most people prefer that human anyways.>People who do take default human have used inspiration once>Otherwise the mechanic is completely forgotten
>>97176049>She can only fit two, maybe three if she tried enough. Now if the question was about how many marshmallows she can fit, that may be more interesting...
>>97176897Those games weekly or you just have a few going on different weeks?
are there any buffs that stack?
>>97176680>>97176730I can’t believe we all forgot about neogi
>>97176049>TQHe doesn't tend to uncover his face in front of people, also he has misplaced elven arrogance buried under a lot of self loathing, so...maybe 2? But he wouldn't try.
>>97177016My players get inspiration if they bring me snacks, they forget they have inspiration, bring me snacks next session, I tell them they get inspiration, they tell me they already have it, repeat.
Bros, I can't connect to Oakthorne wiki. I think it's over. I'll fucking miss the autistically detailed Waterdeep. I used it some 5 years ago when I ran the Dragon Heist module. RIP.
>>97177565>>97177033You guys aren't giving me any... inspiration...
Have you ever had a combat where the party fought one single humanoid-ish creature, and it was a good and balanced encounter? What was it like?
One of my players decides she wants to multiclass Barbarian/Ranger, specifically for flavor because she wants to have an animal companion fight alongside her. She's currently sitting at 1 Barb / 1 Ranger. It seems like there's little synergy between the two classes, but how would we go about making this work with the least interruption? Does she rush 3 levels of Ranger for the companion then put the rest of her levels in Bard? Get to 5 ranger for the extra attack? Wait until 5 in Barb then pick up the remaining two in Ranger for the subclass?
>>97178555*Barb, not Bard. We are not taking any Bard levels. I hope.
>>97176857Gnomes have a very mature society. They're technologically and philosophically sophisticated, so they'd rather be safe at home than ruling over a bunch of naive big folk.
