If you created an Amazon setting, what would it be like? By Amazon setting, I don't mean a single society among many where women are primarily the fighters, I mean a setting where every society is this way. Some question to start someone off:>What genre would you make your setting be?>Do women tend to be musclegirls, men tend to be twinks, both, or does comparative height and build not change?>Is the magic that men and women are capable of different?>For pursuits that don't involve combat (such as hunting), are ones that are considered masculine and feminine swapped? Which ones?>While women would dominate military matters, what about other goverment matters? Do those end up women dominated?>How does courtship change?>Did you Amazon setting start off as such in-universe or was it some new development that lead to it being that way?

how does an amazon society deal with pregnancy? I feel like that's the primary obstacle to being good at fighting, unless your society is particularly rich and civilized and so doesn't have 18 kids per household. Are warriors just expected not to fight when having kids? Do they lay eggs in this universe?Please don't say mpreg.

In a world where the gods are real and bestow divine blessings, it makes sense that the war goddess would favor women for war, with accompanying metaphysical consequences. Aphrodite Areia style gods in specific would logically result in anime amazons, since both beauty and war are in her portfolio. War alone might result in brutish women, but the beauty aspect means they get to be musclegirls instead of just slabs of beef. I suspect that what would happen is that normal women are weaker than men, but men are weaker than women with the war goddess's blessing. Exactly how one gets that is up for debate, but I would expect them to be warrior-preistesses essentially.

women are natual born borderline cannibal psychopaths at a baseline, and the best schooling can only put them at "Average American CEO" levels of innate cruelty and malice. Society has basically come to accept that there are civilized cities of men with agriculture and laws and industry, and a whole collection of female led nomadic bandit hordes that can't help but decorate everything with skulls of their enemies and whoever they catch at worst, and form hilariously sociopathic mercenary bands for hire at best.

>>97210410This reminds me of the Sekeker tribe in Bloodlust. The Sekeker are an amazone tribe founded by women who revolted. They are 100% misandric and insane. Male slaves usually end up castrated and drugged (non-castrated slaves are sometimes used for punctual situations - see below). To avoid getting raped when captured, they do everything they can to look ugly and scary. Since they can't have kids, they kidnap little girls from other tribes, and raise them to become Sekeker warriors. The coming of age ceremony consists of throwing the young Sekeker (Bloodlust being a French TTRPG, the young Sekeker is around 15 to 16) in a pit filled by non-castrated male slaves who were given potent aphrodisiacs. After the ensuing gangrape, the girl is infibulated, and if she's ugly, has her tits removed - since it's a sword & sorcery setting, those are a nasty affair. The most beautiful Sekekers keep their breasts, and join the Chrysalis elite unit, which fights half-naked and is used for infiltration and recon.
