Give me a monster or creature to sculpt I want to work on sculpting a lot more in 2026
>>97249396Royal anubis/anubite kind of guy? Or a gothic werewolf thing from Bloodborne? Maybe a big snake?
>>97249396Some kind of creepy arthropod.
I found some of the army painter paint pens at a game store and l really like them for base coating so far. Maybe not precise enough for edge highlighting but it seems like a great time saver so far. Makes getting all the gold trim on my rhino done a lot easier.
>>97249396Make some cool birds
My resolution for 2026 is to finally paint some miniatures!
>>97249396Sphinx from never ending story.
>>97249443Heh, tiddy.
>>97249396
all this nice work, only to realise too late that aspect warriors armor covers the thights and ass
>>97249430Based
>>97249516Stop it youre going to make me get into Eldar!
>>97249563you sure ?
Finished. Wanted to flock some static grass and realized I am going to need one of those applicators.
My "post pile of shame" thread ate shit so I resolved to try barreling through it, starting with the Reaper Bones boxesFor quick painting techniques I think it's going alright. Having multiple at once is actually enjoyable in that I can let one dry while I turn to another.
>>97249588Fun! The snow on the skeleton looks really good.
>>97249487You know it, core childhood memory.
>>97249756Was this show even good? I just have distinct memories of watching this with my dad, but I don't recall anything about it.
Nearing the end now, Merry Christmas ya filthy degens. Any C&C would be good, other than the obvious of not doing minis like this.
>>97249829camp af it's 6/10 but can become endearing if you get invested
>>97249833looks great honestly, makes me wish she had like a foxgirl head instead
I now have those better pictures of the christmas goblin>>97249833Looks really good
>>97249929and new spinny
>>97249396A gargoyle
>>97249829The kind of camp you would expect from a Sam Raimi work.
>>97249833Looks pretty good; not much for me to criticize besides the highlights being a bit thick on the hair/fur.
It arrived! Thanks a ton anon, the kill team was one I was eyeballing for a while now too. I'll be sure to not eat all the chocolate at once.
>>97250036And the note. Don't worry about the sexy skaven lady, I can handle that one
>>97249991Fair point, the strands are that awkward width where they're a little too thick to paint multiple strands on but not so thin you can get away with a single edge highlight.
>>97249585AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
How does this look for blade wear so far? I'm trying to ad some actual age to a Wight King's sword. So far I just cut into it with one scissor blade and cleaned/widened them a bit with folded sandpaper. Any suggestions for making look better and older would be great since this is the first time I'm trying to add damage on the actual plastic.
>>97250225that's a lot of damage for a sword, but you do have to exaggerate the effect for small models.
>>97250225the appearance is fine but you made a mistake in the planning. most of the damage should be on the edge that would be doing most of the cutting. it doesn't make sense to have so much damage on the false edge.
>>97250251To be fair to anon, it is a Wight's sword so that thing is at least a century old. Nicks everywhere is reasonable
>>97250225You can use your plastic glue to smooth out any spots that are still a little rough after sanding. Can also glue little bits of sand on some parts to really build up a corroded texture to paint later as well.
