I totally forgot that I saved a pile of Images for this idea, so I just smashed it all together. Now I need to come up with some fun personalities for the girls. Each girl is going to have five levels under them, which is their love and loyalty to you. You can lower these levels by picking more girls as concubines. If you do this, you can get more perks from other kingdoms.

What is worse between having to fight honourably, assisting everyone in need and having to protect nature? Trying to decide for my last 25 points.
>>
>>97283145
Just finished making my build but I'll want to review and refine it first before posting.
Until then, here's my initial thoughts on it:
>Points
Even with the Oaths I picked letting me reach 400 points, there's a dozen Powers I couldn't get that would've made my build "optimal." I'm still somewhat satisfied with what I've got, but unless they're willing to OathMAXX, some Anons are going to chafe under these restrictions. Specialization of some kind is the way to go.
>Enhanced Form
"Strength, speed, stamina, and durability pf a hundred men" sounds pretty strong, right? Enough for a single purchase at least? Wrong. Your martial-oriented companions are way more powerful than that, which suggests your enemies require that much firepower to handle too. If you don't want to get sidelined/die in a brawl, you're forced to get multiples of this.
>Companions
Decent enough, but there's just something off with how they're presented. I think it's mostly in the description prioritizing how strong they are/can get? Subjective, but I'd genuinely prefer if there was a little bit more flavor to them.

That's about it for now. I'd rate it as a high 6, maybe even a low 7. Pretty good, but could be better.
>>
>>97279655
Those are definitely valid uses for it, although I always thought about just using it to keep fighting. Maybe that reflects poorly on my priorities.

I always imagined that Paladins are people who are already "pretty damn good", but the idea of someone being offered that opportunity as a means of helping them become a better person as much as anything they might do to help people, does actually sound pretty fitting.

Simpler powers are more appealing to me, and there is nothing simpler than physical force; holy warrior-monk just speaks to me. I’ve essentially ignored everything that costs HE except for Enhanced Form, so I can focus entirely on that. Hand Of God I think can cover for Holy Smite entirely, and Holy Smite in general eats up HE that could be used for Enhanced Form and/or will be limited due to it. Magic Immunity, plus all the passive defensive powers, make the build eminently survivable, and Growing Power/Against The Odds mean this works best against either large numbers of foes or one very strong one, focusing on battles of attrition. Holy Fire is my best offensive power, letting me take out things that would otherwise be difficult to deal with, and doesn’t eat up any HE. On the other hand, this sacrifices specialization in targets or huge bursts of power, but it is what it is.

>Equipment:
Heavenly Plate
Crown Of Stars

>Techniques:
Rain Of Stars
Divine Wall [-15]
Mirror [-15]
Vorpal Slash [-15]
Heavenly Plate is simply protection, especially against conceptual attacks, while the Crown Of Stars means it’s entirely possible to essentially have a permanent ten-stack of Enhanced Form, with its doubled HE regeneration. As for technique, Divine Wall works best for it’s explicit reliance on attrition, while the others shore up its weaknesses and allow for optimal future growth in this area.

>Companions [+30]:
Vaeriss, Spellthief
She’s versatile, and that’s important considering how one-note I am. She’s also a lot less likely to get herself killed while I do my thing compared to more honorable companions, and it’s a very humorous aesthetic to picture an edgy witch alongside an upright paladin.

>Quests:
Destroy The Soul Forges
The Heart Of Darkness
From Darkness
The Wind Of Death

>Side Quests:
Lord Of Hosts
Reign Of Filth
Dragonfall
Metamorphosis
Apex
Bad Blood
Rise of The Nightmare Lord
I care more about pursuing deliberate evil-doers than random fights or situations needing a delicate hand, and its a waste of time for me to try and investigate when I’m not suited for it. I’ll work best when going up against large numbers of pure evil beings in combat, especially since that usually won’t trigger my Oaths. All of these quests will be dealt with in the same way, so there’s no need to go into specifics.

>Final Choice: Travel Together

>But maybe its good enough separation for it not to trigger a fall. Oaths are not omniscient they depend on the oathtakers perception, so if they never saw their victim die? can they be certain that they actually killed them?
I would say so. If you strap C4 to someone, but the timer goes off after 24 hours and you arent there, that was still you who did it.
This isnt to say "they died when the ward finished, fall" is a guarantee, it would depend on why you added the ward and what you did to them. If you put a ward on a defeated foe so that you could try and save them in a better position its different to you sticking a deathward on someone and going absolute ham on them with no regard for what happens when it finishes.

Oaths arent omniscient, but that sort of goes both ways. If you leave a man to die in a burning building, you might fall even if he actually manages to survive, because in your perception/based on the information you have available you left a man to die in a burning building. You didnt know a freak portal would open and save him,

>Vorpal Slash [-15]
Given youre fighting unarmed im picturing a rather humorous karate chop.
Cool build anon. Good to see someone taking the hand of god, I was worried it would end up overlooked with the magical weapons around.

>I care more about pursuing deliberate evil-doers than random fights or situations needing a delicate hand
I see that "from darkness" there, I know youre a softie under that talk.
>>
>>97283528
How much of a force multiplier do you think techniques are? I was wondering about converting them into points for Enhanced Form, but decided against it.
>>
>>97283434
>there's a dozen Powers I couldn't get that would've made my build "optimal."
Theres 140 something ish powers, so im not surprised you cant take them all. I felt like the pts provided were pretty generous, you get 500~ if you take all the oaths and the average power costs around 15/20, did you feel like you needed more?

>which suggests your enemies require that much firepower to handle too
It depends on what youre fighting but sure. Dragons can get very powerful, as can demons or unholy avatars or whatever, or maybe youre fighting just giant armies of normal people (where you would still want to have some enhanced abilities). Although I feel like theres a level of diminishing returns there. Someone with one rank of enhanced form is only half as strong as someone with two ranks, while someone with 0 ranks is 100x weaker than someone with one rank. Once you have a couple (or even one) rank the various situational multipliers and utility abilities become markedly more useful than I think you're giving them credit.
Sure, you COULD take 20 ranks of enhanced form and suplex dragons. But you could also take fewer ranks and focus on making up for that gap in pure physical might with something like smites or skills or even power combinations (theres various abilities that could be used to essentially stun enemies, for example).

>I think it's mostly in the description prioritizing how strong they are/can get? Subjective, but I'd genuinely prefer if there was a little bit more flavor to them.
Thats fair. I tried to give them all some distinct personality, but many of them are probably closer to "archetypes" than very detailed people. Less of an artistic choice and more me condensing information poorly/running out of different ways to describe people that are "generally decent".

Given that a lot don't mesh together well on a build, or are just outright not going to work, I think it's fine. I did want a few more points, but that's because I am greedy.

>20 ranks of enhanced form and suplex dragons
Interesting...
>>
>>97283535
For the reasons given above (regarding how theres a level of "diminishing returns" to stacking it all in enhanced form? I think youre better off not doing that. Techniques get better if you invest in physical enhahncement, the option to trade yours out for more pts is mostly there for people who really dont care about fighting ability or at least conventional fighting ability.
Its hard to put an exact number on how powerful a technique makes you since they're all situational in some way (or that was the attempt anyways) and arent going to "make number go up". But in the proper context, theyre going to dramatically boost your fighting ability.

So for example take divine wall, someone who can fight in that style wont suffer the usual issues when outnumbered (or fighting someone that relies on on overwhelming you with lots of attacks from different angles) and just be generally skilled in defensive fighting (skilled at parrying/deflecting/controlling the enemy, good at dealing with attacks using less energy than it takes to make them), and compared to someone physically comparable but without that skillset? It's going to be a massive difference if both of them try and do the same thing and that thing is what that style does. Once again, it's hard to put a number on it since "combat power" isn't really a number, but ten times as effective would probably be realistic, maybe more depending on how "ideal" the situation is for what you know how to do, less if the situation is less favorable to that style (against a singular opponent that regenerates for example the divine wall is probably less than ideal, its focus on total defense and attrition wouldn't translate into taking the offensive opportunities you would want to overwhelm that kind of foe, so you're still going to be more durable than someone without any techniques but your performance compared to them would be significantly reduced).

>if you take all the oaths

This is a meme build that can't work in practice.
>>
>>97283579
It is a bit of a meme build, not really something I expect many people will do (this is why dawn doesent require 100% oaths for her miracle unlock, I didn't want to force total 100% restrictions). But it should be "technically possible"; none of the oaths really conflict with one another directly.
Its just going to be very restrictive and limiting.
>>
>>97283578
About what I had in mind, but thanks for confirming.
