Normal drafting is really hard for new players because you need to understand not just the cards you see but how they interact with all the other potential cards. Sealed draft you just get six packs and have to build a deck out of it. Matches are slower, decks are worse, and it's easier to get lucky by casting a big creature they can't kill.

>>97299251At the very start, just stick with the starter deck queue to get used to stuff and do dailies. Jump In events are probably best early value to start getting good cards, you can check out the packets here: https://mtgabuddy.com/en/jump-in-packet-listAfter that, you've the choice between sticking to the slow drip of income from dailies/weeklies, or you start grinding events to potentially come out on top. If you do well you'll never worry about wildcards again, if you're shit then you waste all your gold for nothing.
