I want to design a deck around Toshiro specifically going for commander damage that instead of relies on equipment, just vomits out a bunch of little pump spells at once and kills someone. Trying to go for that samurai sword draw or revolver quick draw feeling of someone not feeling the looming presence of a built up board state but I get to blow my load of instants and kill someone. I think this would be funny to do in black, I know its unoptimized but if I cared then I'd go play feather. Do you think it can work or can you suggest another deck for this feel that isn't feather or shu yun?

I just read the bracket system and it's pretty dumb. They put purely defensive stuff like force of will and aura shards on the same list of "game changers" as actual win button cards. The fair fast mana is also here right alongside the luck/unfair fast mana, yet sol ring is conspicuously missing even though it meets the criteria for some of these being on the list. Why is sol ring a sacred cow that is avoiding the bracket system when it's better than some of the other cards on this list that are on the list for the same things sol ring does? And why are purely defensive cards here next to broken shit like necro and oracle? This list is legitimately internally inconsistent with itself.

Additionally, your deck should be always have ways of interacting with things that disrupt your strategy, and always have a way of protecting your strategy. Use common sense about what kind of interaction you want: a deck that just wants to flood the board probably doesn't need wraths unless they are one sides wraths.
