Do you ally with them when you play?
Grand cruisers are the best looking BFG ship. I got this one specifically after I read the magazine article that said the forward bridge podium was deliberately intended to accept the plastic cruiser bridge.
>>97339983Sweet, Battlefield Gothic and Dropfleet Commander are really picking up near where I'm at.
TOWbros where we at?
I've started learning how to scratchbuild. Very basic so far, but I'm learning by doing.
>>97340841The intention is that whatever I build will be for Mordheim
>>97340842Spam over
>>97340848Good first effort. The placement of the beams looks kind of random, and for your next building I think you should try to emulate historical designs more closely. The Youtube channel Devs and Dice makes great scratchbuilt Mordheim terrain that is easy to copy or use for inspiration. The only downer about his designs is that he uses a ton of individually cut foam bricks that require investment in a foam cutter to emulate properly.
>>97340934Yeah, there's plenty to learn still. I had actually not intended to start this yesterday but I got carried away so I wasn't following any specific design or aesthetic principles. More than anything I just wanted to get a feel for the materials and tools I got, and kinda work out the properties of everything.
Any War of the Ring players here?
>>97339983The design to take Imperial and Chaos weapon parts is clever. But i find the design rather ugly. The prow is too flat and the weapon ports looked cramped/ugly.
is mordheim really as good as people say?
>>97342246If your group aren't massive munchkins and use some common houserules to limit the amount of bullshit that can be accomplished then yea, it's a fun narrative game
The LOTR group here is getting back together but they voted to do Battle Companies. I can deal with this shit for a couple months over not playing at all, but I'm also afraid it will scare off newer players since it gets unbalanced quickly and leaves out some of the most fun and interesting parts of the game like monstrous attacks and the interplay between heroes and warriors. >>97341970Funnily enough I bought my first MESBG figures for use with WotR since they were pretty cheap by the late 00's when it came out. Only played a couple times though.
