man how do you people handle some of the "weirder" modules/dungeons that have come out of the OSR?i can't keep track of you guys so maybe i'm in the opposite thread to the one i should be asking in, but all these books insist "noo it's just like a standard OSR/D&D game!" then they're...not.The Lost City had some weird dudes in bird masks. Judges Guild had all sorts. surprised the player-facing map (and the letter) for Isle of Dread haven't been redrawn, tbqh.i know that's heresy to some, but i don't mean something like this pic (although it is pretty neat). just a basic Dyson-y style illustration, coastlines and MAYBE simple mountains instead of triangles. that's 'the map' but then the mapper is free to just use the standard key. mite b cool.
