That’s fair, but on the flip side, the Bow Shabti are some of the best models in the TK range imo

When determining if a target has cover, do you do that model by model in a unit, so that you end up with different shooters having potentially different modifiers? Something about the wording in the rules threw me off.

"To check if a model or unit is in cover, stoop down to look from the first model's point of view"

Why does it say "first" model? Why not just say model? I have to assume though every model in a unit checks for cover and it changed model to model since this is how it works for check what models can shoot. Given that how does this interact with Volley Fire?

"Normally, only models in the front rank of a unit can shoot. However, sometimes the rules will allow models in the rear ranks to shoot. In such cases, models in the rear ranks are able to see what the model at the front of their file can see."

What half of the back ranks shoot? Can I just pick the ones that are best for me? Say if half the front rank can see the target clearing, but the other half has cover in the way, can I just pick the clear half and have them determine the files that get to shoot? What if only one model in the front actually has line of sight? By rules is sounds like they'd still be able shoot even though they technically have no line of sight. How would you guys rule this?

How many extra furs etc. Are contained in the empire knights box?
>>
>Which kit/kits do you most desperately want to see remade?
Pretty much the entire O&G range except for boar boyz needs a refresh asap. They range from OK to shit and don't really have any standout models currently. Also you need to dip into the AoS range for most of them and they all look like shit, especially the squig hoppers.
>>
>>97410256
>especially the squig hoppers.

>When determining if a target has cover, do you do that model by model in a unit, so that you end up with different shooters having potentially different modifiers?
Yes. Including range.
>"To check if a model or unit is in cover, stoop down to look from the first model's point of view"
Not sure why it says first cause it means front or first rank, but whatever, probably typo/clarification issue.
>I have to assume though every model in a unit checks for cover and it changed model to model since this is how it works for check what models can shoot. What half of the back ranks shoot?
Treat their view as the same as the model in their column, but they do still check range. So effectively you choose which half of the back ranks get to fire.

Not sure if it counts but I'd love to see at least a limited sale of Skull Pass. It is still very balanced in TOW and is just a nice set for anyone to have I'm sure it'd sell even to players who don't collect the factions.

Honestly I think a mto or whatever of some of the old launch boxes would do pretty well, obviously they'd probably have to be limited to only the sprues but still.

How can you say something so imbecilic when you can clearly see a very large game being played with way more troops than your standard 2k points game. Have you ever even played WHFB/TOW, or are you just a nogames larping ?

Only ten miniatures left until my grand regiment of veteran halberdiers are done... then I need to paint about forty more, but that end is in view at least.

Focusing on one miniature at a time instead of proper batch painting takes a lot of hours, but once I'm done I'll have a pretty 2000 point force I could theoretically use for as long as TOW will be around + for other games.

>TQ
None because you won't see me buying from GW except for some stuff I *really* can't proxy, like the rocket batteries. It's universally known that the state troops need to downgrade to the previous ones (4th edition if I remember correctly?), though.
>>
>>97409617
TQ: Frankly the entirety of Wood Elves needs to be redone, but for my armies, it'd be nice to get plastic Slayers and war machines for Dwarves, and a new Forsaken kit for WoC.

It's not a rank and flank like WHFB, clearly. Cav are multi based, plenty of dudes on individual bases, etc.

Sixth edition starter set, literally everything in that box is great.
Here's some archer night gobbos. I have around 12 or 13 including a snotling unit filler with an arrow quiver painted, but the minimum is 20 and I'm out of bits.

Does multi basing make it not rank and flank? Do skirmishers not get based individually in WHFB?

there's something magical about round bases on movement trays, when it is old or old-looking models, not good or bad per se, just slightly otherworldly

It will never happen because the logistics & cost of casting plastic models that aren't guaranteed to sell prohibits it from happening, but it would be very nice for me personally if GW could spin up the 1997 plastic chaos warrior kit for a couple runs. What few boxes are available second-hand are obscenely expensive (you do not want to know how much I spent on picrel) and even buying the models pre-assembled (and often pre-primed with tar-like sludge) is getting to be rather difficult. I'd also like them to do some MTO runs of the metal bits that came with the 5th ed plastic kits. The last set of 5th ed metal bits I need for my personal collection are the chaos knight bits, specifically for the helmet as the box of knights I got from some guy off of ebay didn't come with the helmet for some reason.
If you mean which kit I'd like to see redesigned in GW's modern style, then I'd rather they not redesign anything at all because I don't like what they've been putting out for chaos since 2007 and the chaos aesthetic peaked in the '90s. It would be fun if they could design new metal upgrade kits for the older models, but that'd never happen.
