>>97422572>tfw drawing my characters has been happening more often than actually playing with themI wouldn't go so far as to say I've hit a creative rut, but I keep thinking "I should start playing these characters again" and instead of playing I just draw them.
>>97422826Drawing your characters is still utterly based though. So I'd say it's a wash at worst.
>>97422838Trve, I just want to finish this mission and move onto the next one since we lost 3/5 of the party so far, recruited two more mid-mission, and in the meantime this girl and her other companion have crippling conditions that make playing them difficult (All critical successes count as failures for this computer scientist, 16% chance of fleeing in terror for her biologist companion).
>>97422826Drawing is always good, keep it going. Also what are you currently playing? Can you post your drawings?
>>97422572>Furry OPbased and dare i say funpilled

>>97423235I know, but it's got tentacles so that counts
>>97423260
>>97422888What game? Also, damn 3/5 of the party gone? Sounds hot.
>>97406725And also its a beastman abhuman regiment
>>97423568>>97422934Mothership with some bolted on homebrew mechanics that I'm still trying to find a balance on. The party was boarding a space station infected with a kind of spore (think cordycepts because I'm boring) that infects via injection/deposition in-body. Two rooms in, the party got swarmed by fun guys who dragged off one of them, and by the time the other four caught up she was already broken (she broke basically right as they found her). Total SNAFU of a combat later and every single one of the girls has been infected, mechanic after a single "encounter" (she collapsed and was catatonic, which actually ended up saving her since her not fighting back meant the fun-guy finished with her before mentally breaking her), pic related biologist got infect immediately after getting two visitors, but their marine leader and teamster took longer to infect, and broke while doing it. Biologist managed to escape (the guys don't care about already infected hosts), and Computer Scientist escaped afterwards. I actually talked about it in the thread several months ago, but since then they have: 1. Failed to rescue an independant journalist (male) after he asked them to help him get off-ship, two infected women got him.2. Biologist abandoned CS as she fled in terror from a male fun-guy attacking during 1 (CS escaped, she's pissed with the Biologist) 2. Met another girl and a marine (male), both infected (different spore "group" though) 4. Encountered the science team responsible for researching the fungi, and have a clue for a cure (imagine an anteater, but for the fungi), but before they get cured they have to purge the station's oxygen to clear the vents of the fungi, and they're trying to rescue the 3/5 before they put their plan in action. >Can you post your drawingsUnfortunately I haven't made any more of the pixel art/sprites yet, but I do have some art of the original 5 (haven't drawn the two new ones yet).
>>97424452And the (slightly updated but as of my last game outdated) picture of them and their details. I pivoted from using Stress to using Calm, in order for a "longer" game, but Lady actually had a heart attack last session and barely got medical treatment in time (a single man was all it took to make the team effective), and I'm thinking of making the mind-breaking rule I have set a little less brutal. I also have no idea how I'm going to handle a male character for the Lewd parts, mechanically, but I'm sure I'll figure it out.
>>97424452>>97424558Oh man I actually do remember you talking about that all those months ago. It's funny that you're posting about it now because I've actually been thinking about trying to do a solo lewd Mothership game but I haven't figured out yet how to do it.
>>97424664I find it funny how it seems really common for lewd games to be horror themed.
>>97424664It's a shame that those faggots ruined pdf-posting for the rest of us, or I'd share the rules I have. That said, I am one of the hyper-autists who gets off of rolling dice for how good the sex is so I couldn't promise how fun it would be, hah. I'd post more art as consolation, but the only art I have is a scribble of the marine Miracle getting infected and the biologist's aroused sprite which is inappropriate for /tg/. As a note though, Mothership's cascading failure can get really frustrating at times if you want the story to continue, and these conditions are damn near impossible to fix RAW. I know it's a game about getting graped by space corporations, but after the characters have been graped by space monsters, enough is enough!>>97424778I remember reading somewhere (probably here ages ago) about how Alien was particularly terrifying "for men" because it's vaguely about forced impregnation, and then they really pushed it in that Predator vs Alien scene.

>>97425150Those aren't incompatible, anon.>>97424778To paraphrase something an anon said here long ago, smut can largely be boiled down into three categories: romance, comedy, or horror. Of the three, romance is by far the hardest to systemise, and is a longstanding point of difficulty in RPG design. That being said, it also somewhat regularly pops up in a more freeform aspect as a stress-relief valve in horror-focused games.Comedy and horror, on the other hand, are two sides of the same coin. They operate on almost identical structures of suspense and surprise, and almost any lewd situation can be swung to one direction or the other simply by how you sell it. I won't go so far as to presume what makes other anons tick, but for me, my suspension of disbelief doesn't stretch far enough to downplay just how unhealthy the average lewd game campaign would be for someone's mental state, and I find that downward spiral to be a compelling tragic drama.
>>97425918>my suspension of disbelief doesn't stretch far enough to downplay just how unhealthy the average lewd game campaign would be for someone's mental state, and I find that downward spiral to be a compelling tragic drama.I know I've personally had my fill of bleakness from real life and actual events. So I prefer the Rance approach where the lewd stuff is usually played for laughs, at least when the protagonists are involved.
>>97425934It's almost funny in a sad way, because I kinda want to take that as case in point. But starting an argument about the best way to get your rocks off to rolling dice is pretty fucking stupid, so I'll leave that lie. >>97427400>the lewd RPG thread is more civil and well written than most threads on the siteIt's also the one damned thread left on this board that actually discusses game design on a regular(-ish) basis. Somehow we ended up as the last torch of /tg/'s creativity, and that will never stop being funny.
>>97429779I would argue that's because this thread is inherently a homebrew thread. Either you're talking about a game from the OP, of which at least one is actively in development; or you're trying to adapt your preferred system to have mechanics centered around your specific fetish.
>>97429779>we ended up as the last torch of /tg/'s creativityAnd the thread was born because some people wanted to have an actual civilized discussion about a lewd game an anon found, which then promped some people to try to fix the game or make their own, and here we are 6 years later. LAnon here, real life work has me really busy, which pleases my wallet, but kills the time needed to homebrew stuff.Whenever the next update may drop, it will probably be just some tables for existing regions. But one proposition: How do you feel about dropping the malus for certain tests while using "Covered" armor, and also the extra Stamina spent while wearing these? Anyone played characters that used armor like this extensively?Even if that would make them "too good" (don't think it will), I bet most players use them more for thematic reasons and not for outright powergaming.
>>97432875I looked at the sample and first page of text it mentions the X-card. I swear to god, I'm now locked into making a Taimanin inspired game now. Fuck these BDSM freaks and their fake good bullshit. The game is going to be full of rape and monsters and I hope all these X-card freaks cry.

>>97433851I recently did a playthrough of a dwarf soldier who wore full plate armor. I like the idea of trading off maneuverability for protection personally since it’s gotten her into more than one interesting situations out of combat.

>>97425918I've found that Genesys lends itself quite well to solo romance, with its social "combat" and "narrative" dice.Is it romance, comedy, or horror if my campaign is of a self-insert accumulating a harem by any means necessary?
>>97437007Is also for couples, faggot
>>97437038Romance or Comedy. Either or depending on how you run things. You only creep into horror when you start dictating worlds by fetish rules or have rape monsters be a core component.
>>97437133Even if some of the harem aren't kept there willingly?
>>97437233Yes. If anything that's what lends itself towards comedy or romance. If your character rapes them and it's generally played off and she gets tsun about it; then you've got comedy. If you rape her and she starts to secretly like you, it's romance. For horror you'd have to switch perspective to one of the harem girls and play the sexual assault pretty damn straight and the mental toll it takes on her. Which would probably distract from your harem collecting adventures.
Any recs for good erotic literature? Im okay with fics or original. I just want more things to see as reference because I can't write for shit.

>>97437786Well Im trying to get into labyrinthus right now so stuff that has fantasy elements I guess. I wouldn't say I have no kinks but my mind just blanks in the scenario even if there should be something obvious. I've even considered checking out those women booktok works that people shitpost about like Morning Glory Milking Farm. I'm a fan of Yumejo artists like Rororogi Mogera because I feel like she's good at appealing to the male demographic as well. I want to see stuff that capture the essence of those works in a literary form because visual media is spoiling/rotting me.
>>97437905I prefer monstergirl stuff. A lot of my writing deals with interpersonal stuff with lewd bits sprinkled in to sate the appetite of my monstergirl enjoying audience. Both of these are in contemporary settings, so I don't know how well they'd jive with you.>https://files.catbox.moe/mggblg.pdfShorter story. A little bit of lizard girl sex. I'd set up a lot of different things, but I lost interest in it, and I got self-conscious about the first-person writing style. There's a sex scene at the end if you make it through all the other chapters. Pic related is a more meager greentext. I wouldn't mind revisiting it, but some extensive rewriting would be needed.
>>97437905And how's the game going, aside from the writing? Because sometimes you can get inspiration by just playing
>>97435395Lmao, I tend to play lightly armored characters as well, so I feared that was clouding my judgement.>>97435406Good call.>>97435570Was wondering if it was adding too many maluses without adding anything worthwhile (outside of raw protection), but >more than one interesting situations out of combatThat should be the goal anyway.
>>97427400>>97427949nta but I still don’t understand how you come up with Defeated number on the character sheet. I underdtand the conditions to get defeated. It’s that number on the sheet, I don’t know where it comes from.>>97437870Anon, if you are still here, could you clarify?
How would you rule on dragon + human breeding? Assuming its a default DnD-ish setting>#1 Humanoid + Dragon>#2 Humanoid + Dragon (Humanoid Polymorph)>#3 Humanoid (Dragon Polymorph) + DragonI think the first option is only doable if both partners are of similar size. Would lead to a hybrid child. Second option is by far the most common and leads to a hybrid child as well, but maybe one with less draconic traits. Third option is very tough to pull off, but leads to a straight up dragon. (However, the female in this union - be it the human or the dragon - will only produce one egg instead of a clutch). Does that seem consistent or weird?
>>97438930I'm having difficulties understanding what are you trying to ask since I suppose you are using Google translate?. For what I've understood you are asking what are the conditions to getting defeated, who are explained at page 55 of the Core Rules. When you are reduced to 5 Prowess or less, you get defeated. 4 for small Characters. Monsters have a reminder to their Defeated threshold. Defeated means you "lose combat" and basically the character is too tired, hurt or just gives up, then you roll to see what happens to them
>>97440275>Monsters have a reminder to their Defeated threshold. Ahh, this is what I didn’t understand. Now I do. Thank you for your patience.
>>97440440No worries, glad we figured it out
>>97437870Just a heads-up, I noticed the Core Rules were missing the Bookmakrs, so I've uploaded a new version with them (v 0.13.0.2.a), and added some simple guidelines for building a raft in the Adventure Compendium
>>97433851The maluses are perfectly reasonable, though I'd relax the Athleticism restriction to only affect climbing and trekking through difficult terrain, while things like breaking a lock or pushing a carriage out of a ditch should be unaffected. What could use a buff is the Full Helmet. The Hood is plainly cheaper and better. Still, it's a 50 gold difference, so the buff shouldn't be big.I've never played a Covered character, because the extra expenses and stamina costs are intimidating. Stamina can be managed, but the price tag only becomes bearable in late game, or if you get lucky with loot. An Amazonian Fit I Soldier is a strategy worth trying.
>>97433851Weighing in to this as well, I think the apparent lack of people using covered armor stems from a few things.>Cost, especially maintenance costs are the biggest factor. Not only is there an increased basic cost (which does make sense logically, more material, more protection), but because it's covered, you're arousing enemies less frequently, which means instead of trying to grope, they're trying to hit you. This causes damage that needs to be repaired, making covered armor more expensive on the upkeep as well.>It's an H-Game, let's be completely honest here, even if you're genuinely trying to avoid getting raped, you still want the character to be getting into lewd situations. Covered armor gets in the way with that, especially if your character doesn't have Pretty Face. >Armor is your last line of defense; you want to be dodging/blocking/parrying attacks in a perfect world. It's an important line to have, but it rarely matters so much to overwhelm the other two issues.Speaking from experience, even when playing a soldier I stuck to half plate once I was in the money, and I found myself regretting saving up fuck you money for some Quality boosts because it'd keep getting damaged. When I was reaching endgame with my vampire knight my gameplan was to blow several thousand gold on a super fancy thing of full plate, go back home to the realm of the blood moon, and fight through the castle to usurp the vampire lord all in one sitting, no waiting for the mission. Unfortunately, I lost all the files I was using to record her adventures so I didn't actually get to stress test full plate and see how useful it is for when you wanna go "fuck it" and spend a long time behind enemy lines.
>>97441622>Cost,Can't totally weigh in, since I don't play Labryinthus, But this is a similar problem that my preferred system (Ops and Tactics) has. Heavy armor is really good in terms of straight protection, but the sticker shock is real, especially since that game also has degradable armor which you gotta pay a % cost to repair.
>>97439309>default DnD-ish settingI kinda lowkey hate this term, because even D&D doesn't really have a default setting. But I suppose you mean Forgotten Realms-esque kitchen sink, and I'm sure Ed Greenwood would have an opinion on the matter. The real big question is if genetics apply like they do in the real world, and how polymorphing effects it. If we uphold genetics, then either the polymorph rewrites them and the result would breed true, or it doesn't and humans and dragons can naturally interbreed, with all the wild implications that come from that.Alteratively, you could rule that reproduction is an inherently magical process, in that it at least follows a set of rules completely alien to us. Since kitchen sink settings feature half-dragon humanoids, we can infer that this is the case. At its most simple, I'd leverage the certainty of the soul's existence to suggest that it undergoes a process similar to the meiosis that creates sperm and eggs, and that the union of the two halves has just as much impact upon the offspring as raw genetic material, as well as smoothing over the oddities. Humans and Dragons being prolific producers of half-breeds is as classic as D&D tropes go, so you might as well elevate it to an inherent magical ability. Taken under those conditions, yeah, I don't find much to argue with in your interpretation, except that I would keep each mother's natural method of birth, and I prefer my dragons being single-egg anyway.
>>97441622>costRepair kits. Use them.>>97438535I'm a pretty prolific user of them. I've rarely found the penalty to be notable unless you're dropping to 4 or fewer dice. To give some general figures, my mace-and-board Paladin would go through 5-6 layers of Steel Plate on the escort to the mountains mission when refusing to bend over for anything. My characters tend to be prudes, so I consider covered armor a must-have, to the point that I regularly take Well-Equipped for it.If I was going to make a suggestion about armor, it would actually be to flesh out the inventory rules. Getting a more solid limit on how much gear you can carry, and consequently how many extra layers you can cart around as smithing/sewing kits goes a lot farther towards defining a Heroine's maximum durability in the field.
>>97442413I’ve been using a personal “Load” rule. >The maximum number of items a Heroine can carry is equal to her Strength + Body + Endurance. This does not include equipped armor and weapons. Unequipped armor and weapons take up a number of space equal to their Strength Requirement.I also use a custom rule set for ammunition (arrows, bolts, throwing knives) to keep things interesting.
>>97442413>Repair kits. Use them.Part of the expenses. Also especially notable on fully upgraded steel plate, as you need 6 successes to repair a single layer, making high Intelligence a must-have and locking those who want to roleplay as a tank with feet into a specific build.
>worrying about power and efficiency in LAit's so easy you can do anything you want...
>>97442255new questthe world keeps having racewarswizard warsbullshitthe solutionsget dragon blood into everyonefuck the world literallythen we can all just bast in ambient thalmic energy and laze about dreaming for all time
>>97441622seems to me what never gets brought up is that doging and parryign gets in the way of attacking.... as in its harder to attack when you dodge.you often give up oppertunities to strike just to parrythats a big part of combatattacking so your opponent cant.armor isnt just a last line of deffense its the first line of offenceif a blow wont be all that dangeorous you can strike instead of blockand your opponent knows thatmeaning they will be attacking you a lot less since they need to think about blocking your strikes since you will be throwing more since only their best oppertunities have even a chance of hurting you.
>>97441485>>97441622>>97442413The high costs were a deliberate choice, though maybe I overtuned it. On one hand, wanted to create situations in which a character that wants to wear full steel plate can't due to costs (and yes, as one of you said, some people play prudes, and armor like this is supposed to facilitate this). On the other hand, make it a worthwhile investment that you have to work towards. To me at least, it's important that you have something that you can spend money on, even large sums of it.And yes, it's a lewd game, the cheapness of less covering armor is also a not so subtle way of nudging characters into that.>>97442521Sounds pretty cool, but I fear adding more rules to this game.Though, characters pulling weapons and items out of their arses mid-combat (and I don't mean the lewd way) is one minor autistic nitpick I have with a lot of systems.
>>97424558>male character for the Lewd partsFool, just have them fuck eachother.
>>97441485 (me)I messed around in character creation. Wild Elves seem promising for making a full plate tank, able to amass good offensive and defensive dice pools, with some breathing room for RP stats and their racial ability directly counteracting the extra stamina costs. I'll try this build out and see what happens.
>>97443724Unrelated question for you LAanon since you are here, in the Bard class they have this class ability:>Lewd Art: Each Sex-Skill you get also increases your damage caused by weapons per Success. +1 damage per Sex-SkillWhich taken literally would mean for each Trained(?) sex skill you have you get +1 damage. That seemed quite strong since you already start with 3 at game start and based on how other classes normally get bonus damage (killing champions, acquiring permanent crime, etc.) this seems too easy. In playing I've altered it to be like the Bard's other class ability: >Magic Art: Each level of Advancement beyond the level of “Trained” in Dancing, Playing Music and Singing, grants a +1 die bonus to cast Arcane Spells. That seems to be more "balanced" and have a slower reward progression. However, I am also half of the mind that you meant to refer to Sex Abilities like what the Soldier has. Any clarification on this?
>>97446803That's at least one reason for an update, to correct that.Yes, it's abilities. Not the skills.
>>97439309I think it's consistent, and have something similar for my stealth magical realm setting:#1 isn't possible, if a dragon did oviposit in a human she'd get popped Alien style. Dragons aren't male/female, and a humanoid can't fertilize a dragon egg.#2 if the dragon is the father, you get Drakes. My Drakes are small dragonoid monsters that have a humanoid form they can shapechange into, and baby drakes are often seen as an archetypical way of a cheating woman being found out or as what happens when a knight marries the princess he 'rescued' from the dragon. The humanoid form gets its DNA from the polymorphed dragon's form and the mother. If a polymorphed dragon is the mother, and she stays polymorphed throughout the pregnancy, you get true Dragonborn. Quite rare, but Dragonborn live as long as elves and are fertile with other Dragonborn. The Roman imperial analogue has a dragonborn regiment, all half-brothers from an ancient dragon that spends its retirement drinking and partying and fucking its way through the great and the good of the Empire. If she doesn't stay polymorphed, the baby dies. If you catch a dragon in the shape of a woman, putting a baby in her is one of the safest ways to stay alive for the next few months.#3: Dragons are better dragons than people are, so no polymorphed dragon has ever been able to subdue their potential mate and breed them. Some have been subdued and bred themselves, but like in #2 they have to maintain the change for the entire incubation or else transfer the egg to another host or it will die. Some high level mages will go and hatch themselves a dragon in hopes of claiming the offspring as a mount, but even with their great power they fail more often than they succeed. As such, one of the most common ironic causes of death for legendary heroes is getting ridden to death by a dragon while trying to get a dragon to ride
>>97447659>#1 isn't possible, if a dragon did oviposit in a human she'd get popped Alien style.Huh, funky running into someone who was also inspired by alien with their dragon reproduction
>>97439309If it works for you, go for it. My take on it has been>#1 results in half-dragon hybrid>#2 and #3 depend on which is the mother, offspring being of her species as their true form with minor traits of the other and ability to polymorph into the other for a limited time, generally much longer than a wizard could imitate with spells.
>>97443724I don't think it's a major, staggering issue or anything, I was just reporting as to why I think Covered Armor isn't used as much. Removing the maluses (or even just some) might make it a better choice, but I think ultimately most people are going to choose gear based on the shtick they have in mind for the character. Anyway, more tables are always appreciated, especially since there's a decent number of regions already and having more tables keeps everything fresh for longer.
>>97447659i didnt follow any of that#1 seems at odds with everything elseis that another setting#2 how does impregnating a dragon make you more likely to survive? it would take a long time to be fertilized, id think a dragon would be more likely to turn back into a dragon so as not to be impregnated, and that owuld cause problems.#3 dragons are better dragons than people are .. huh?
Question to LA Anon I've been meaning to ask for a long time: for dedicated two-handed weapons, do you add STR of 1,5*STR as bonus damage?

>>97448717Dragons are hemaphrodites. Dragons only produce eggs very rarely, and they 'mate' by subduing, capturing, and implanting that egg into another dragon to incubate. That dragon can then implant it in another, so the dragons that actually end up laying and hatching dragon eggs are the weakest ones (in practice, most young dragons spend a couple of dragon generations as a collective bitch of the other dragons). Each dragon in the chain impacts the genetics of the hatchling. It doesn't make sense biologically, but dragons are magic it doesn't have to. Dragon eggs can also be implanted into other creatures, this leeches their metaphysical strength until either the egg is surgically removed or it drains the person dry and a malformed draconic monster erupts from their 'mother'.Dragons capable of polymorphing as intelligent creatures, by dint of their age, are somewhat experienced with being conquered and bred.If they change into a fertile humanoid woman and you actually manage to capture one that stays in that form, either they want it and you'd better give the dragon what they want, they want dragonborn offspring, or will often accept a dragonlike practice of capturing her as a concubine to breed. That said, it has a very low survival rate for the captors even when the dragon's basically doing CNC/BDSM shit but then again most things involving dragons end in a painful death for humanoids.A polymorphed person that wants to "father" a dragon needs to:>create a suitable dragon lair>attract another dragon>survive being subdued and 'bred' by that dragon>recover>do all that to another dragonall without the polymorph spell failing even for a moment during the entire process. This process minus the last step kills most who try it, and even the bottom bitch dragons have decades of experience in draconic combat, lair construction, and hoard building to overcome all in order to lose the thing (a dragon hatchling) you did all this to get
Best system to play a dragon going around collecting different flavors of elven maids?

So these two chicks I've played RPGs with before wanted to do some ERPG stuff, and that activated my autism so I made up a small little system to facilitate wandering around in a dungeon and getting molested/raped when you failed checks, and now it's 30+ pages and seriously suffering from feature creep.I bet I'm not the first one here this has happened to.
>>97454565Labyrinthus Core Rules is 109 pages, Adventure Compendium is 396 pages and Creature Compendium with 174 pages. And is adding even more stuff. You are just having fun writing the system, so nothing out the ordinary because simple stuff gets boring fast
>>97453327wouldnt that make dragons weaker each generation. if the most likely to pass on genes is the weakest.
>>97453839Labyrinthus. It's the only ERP system anyone ever needs. And the only one that's actually good.
Any recommendations for tables of fetishes, kinks, or other sexual preferences one could roll on for NPCs? Hoping to find a few and synthesize what looks worthwhile
