My concern is that it arguably may restrict you from asking for aid in other, more mystical affairs, like not being able to ask for a mage's help in opening a portal to the demiplane of the evil one lest it turn the gaze of the evil one upon him. And hypothetically the "can't draw a foe towards a location where there would be collateral damage" could lock you into fighting exactly where you happen to be. Not major concerns for me, but small misgivings.
Do you get to keep your sorcery even after you take the Crown of Stars off? Also how powerful is it, like prestidigitation? I am assuming we are limited to cantrips and level 1 spells
