What's the best method to improve competitive play? I play a lot of MTGO leagues, I want to get an RC invite in the upcoming modern season. Any tips or guides? I feel like 'just playing' is not as optimal as it could be for improvement.

These three guys were my build around strategy. In match up against badgermole and the tapeworm really showed how important the coinflip is. Only way to win that matchup is a turn four dragonback assault plus land for a blocker. Otherwise, the longer the game goes on the better for the deck. It can landrop out 100s of hasty power in a turn with dopplegang. Bring removal for authority of the councils is important. Using badger mole for ramp lets you get free land drops when they die and reenter. But the 2 mana sorcery and enchantment ramp is a better option because the ramp is.permanent. If you played against this October through January on arena it was me, never had a mirror match. Lorwyn is too garbage to keep my interest. Soon I will stop posting, one week without arena.
