The original is more about generic Mana and meditation than choosing an element and sticking with that, but the particles rotating around the heart like an atom is taken straight from that. Generic isekai magic of the same genre would be circle mages. You have circles around your heart, like halos, and the more you have the more powerful and complex magic you can do. That one is grown by breathing or some similar way to intake mana, and does have affinity for certain elements most of the time.

One Piece has Haki, that's kinda fixed, and Devil Fruits are something you can choose, kinda, so it's less impactful. I guess it would determine if you can get Conqueror's or not?

They feel the most strating zone like and have a more gradual progression by nature, while other places have a more chaotic power system. We can talk about the actual starting zone, and maybe flesh out Isekai Land more because unlike the rest it's pretty generic. Since you're here, and I finally posted my build, I can say what the strange combo I found was. Lucas has mirror powers, they works with any reflective surface, and it just so happens that Riku's armors are pretty shiny, especially the gold ones. Riku is a walking catalist for that. I know where I want my character's house to be at least, and I also need to find a better faceclaim probably.
