First one that springs to mind is picrel from the van denst kit, though is kind of a specific model and a bit expensive if you really only want the torch (though it's a weapon option in the actual kit, you can just build the guy with a gun if you want to keep him)There's also the new lord veritant from skaventide, but that torch is massive and will probably not fit for the conversion you're getting at.I'm pretty sure the flagellant kit (now sold under tow) also comes with a bunch of simple torches, but again buying 30 of the fuckers for 1 torch seems kind of wateful.I think if nothing else it should be a prettt simple thing to greenstuff. Take a toothpick, snip at the appropriate length, build up some greenstuff around it, and then a little fire at the top. There's like a billion fire greenstuff tutorials on youtube. I LIVE ANONS, I managed to fuck up and be that guy since we were starting our PTG campaign today and I thought we were doing 2k points so I had all my stupid giant monsters ready. Only to find out we were in fact doing 1k, I got paired against the Skaven player and absolutely fucking ate him alive since I only had giant shit.I think he wound up using his general to nearly one shot a terrorgheist (13 damage from 4 hits, then terrorgheist ate him and died to clan rats) unfortunately skaven guy was running just Eshin stuff... Somehow my shit wasn't the worst though, Ironjawz guy behind me got tabled by tzeentch player turn 1 who had 2 24 inch range cannons that hit on 2's and wounded on 2's...Still wound up chatting it up with the Skaven player, he was chill with it since we were playing the "grab the berries" map though we misinterpreted the rules and he didn't mention we were supposed to turn them back in. So it was just a minor victory and most of his army is unscathed minus the general. BUT I'm back to hobbying and got a game in!

How do you guys go about obtaining specific bits for a conversion idea you have. Say I wanted like brodd's hammer or some shit but I obviously don't want to pay whatever gw charges for a mega (let alone for a single bit), what are my options beyond just asking around locally?
>>97677973there are bits sellers on secondary markets like ebay but you will pay through the absolute nose, like $30+shipping for a single weapon or some heads. its terrible. you can try miniswap sites like the reddit or facebook miniswap groups, those are probably your best bet for a fair price. otherwise yeah get in touch with your FLGS owner and tell em you're looking for a specific bit and they might know a guy or be able to hook you up with someone who wants the rest of the kit and would be willing to do like a 90/10 split for the bit. there's also printing, but that is harder to reproduce the exact bit you need unless you have a scan file or a scanner and already have the bit, or can sculpt yourself. but a lot of designers do put out kits where hands or weapons are modeled individually so there are some options there, and you can scale them in the slicer to whatever size you need although you would have to redo the supports yourself
