Not by default, we are assuming we know nothing of the others until we meet up, which is pretty soon all things considered. The exact level of metaknowledge on the settings and power systems your guy has is up to you. We have a coupple of amnesiacs that are treating the amnesia drawbacks as if it gets rid of all your memories, but it should only get rid of the memories from your fake life, also up to you if you want to treat it the same or not.

I don't think that's the case, it's more like everyone had access to the same list of powers and what the appearance would do is listed under those powers. Or maybe the system just warns you of anyone with the appearance of the related power when you meet them.

Build Guide Abridged
You get 1(one) Main Power, that includes both Foundation and Ability, along with the potential to unlock any Balance Breakers or Domain Expansions with effort later.
Point balance starts at 0(zero), you get points from marked options and from taking a Main Power of lower weight class than the tournament standard. We are Heavy so you get +2(two) points for a Middle power and +4(four) for a Light power.
The point modifiers powers have are applied each time you take the power in any way. If you take a power with +1 as your main power you get 1 point. If you use the Ability Skilled perk to get only the Ability you also get +1 point back. The same applies to Foundations taken as a perk. The price for ease of use would be 3 points total for a -1 power and 1 point for a +1 power.
To unlock Balance Breakers and Domains you need both the Ability and Foundation of the same power, having only one locks you out. Abilities may function strangely without the right Foundation.
Everything else should be pretty clear from the cyoa. You have 2 free points for items only. It's not an added rule but it's easy to miss so I will put it here anyway.

Start by slowing her perception of time via rokubaigan and scope out her opponent. If she thinks they've got a way through not!Infinity, then she focuses on evasion with levitating out of range. If not, then she shows off that they can't touch her before launching them away with Gravity. If they do, she evades and waits for a chance to attack.

I prefer to avoid a loss, as I'm hoping for that to be a big deal for her later down the line. A draw is fine, by ref fiat over double knockout preferably. Yeah that is weird because we have a whole lot of worlds... "innate mastery" is pretty broad and maybe overpowered depending on you view it, though it IS 4 points. I think a good halfway point is, like if you have him start in Victory Road or whatever, he just has an entire database of TMs to draw from that aren't quite his glitchy ones yet. Then if he goes into JJK land he gets cursed energy manipulation, maybe a technique, and basic/easy to pick up on stuff like simple domain.

Since there's more Isekino in this thread I guess I'll ask here since I'm unsure. Funnily enough that is basically how I'm trying to manage it, as well as trying to include a bounty fight. Basically the current writefag is about 4 of the Cursed Tokyo location builds finally meeting up and killing a Bounty, and then I'll do the sequel writefag about meeting the next 4-5 in the Melting Pot, or at least see the input on the first part to see what anons wanna do.

I got over my roadblock and started writing again for my intro. I also figured out that we do have excuses to "skip" worlds so to speak, since the badlands and the melting pot are connected ro everything they can be used to sort of go out of order, I was planning to use that to get closer to the other groups faster. Of course that would be out of character, in character Lucas would just stumble into a portal by chance. It's a bit farfetched but we do have the fact that Foundations are supposed to guide you to compatible powers as an excuse.

If you pick the Insert option you get the powers of the character for free, that would include any devil fruits they have. You can't elevate a normal devil fruit to the level of one of the powers, but you still get one power for free on top of that. Insert costs 0 if your foundation aligns with the powers of the character you become, so if you choose a devil fruit you could get 2 fruits essentially.

Meta Reason: I feel like Jack got absolutely shafted in terms Wano in terms of portrayal to the point where half of the Tobbi Roppo looked more impressive than him compared to the monster he was in Zou.

Gameplay Reason: I feel like he's the perfect middle ground between someone vastly superhuman, and yet still very much mortal. Jack can fight for 5 days straight sure, but he can be cut, thrown, slashed, beaten down, etc.

Really fun intro, anon. Got caught up in reading and forgot it was just an intro. My favorite part is the first half with Lucas dealing with his amnesia and interacting with the world around him. A lot of the fun coming from these stories will be from how the builds interact with the strange worlds and their inhabitants, and you caught that well! It seems like Lucas is innately adept with his powers and picked up his mirror ability pretty fast.

The action on the second part was easy to understand, but I thought the sudden appearance of the mist and knight felt a little off, or maybe im just too tired to read. The transition between him getting a job and going with the knights into combat felt fast. Dude just pops up and 'disarms' a guard. The rest of the combat was fantastic.

If you end up in a dangerous place and you're fighting for your life, breaking the bond with unknown teammates seems like the way to go. Especially if you know it'd make you tougher. At that point, your best move is to avoid the big group, running from world to world until you're strong enough. You'd miss out on the group fun, but it could be a cool angle story-wise. And you can still make deals to help the other team using binding vows.

It's the more straighforward of his powers all things considered, and it's supposed to be his main one, Discharge needs a conduit and Prime Soul is mostly passive. He still doesn't know the finer details but the sytem will help with that later.

Maybe I wrote it down in a confusing manner but Lucas already had a Job for about a week, he discovered it pretty early so he did have time to adjust a little. As for Berith being that strong it's because it tends to be a mid level demon in SMT, and had the advantage of surprise, while the guards were pretty low level. The only reason Lucas managed to win is because of mirror shenanigans and the x10 power from discharge, otherwise he's still low level, he only knows those 2 spells.
Also the mist is how demons spawn in in SMTV I guess it does look pretty abrupt if you don't know that, I will keep it in mind for the future.

If Lucas knew what his powers actually do he would have gone for Red Mage too, since the x10 power nullifies one of the weaknesses, but following his gut he has higher affinity for Black Mage because it's more based on raw power and energy, so he felt drawn to it.

Lucas actually has really good synergy with Zara, and some other team members, the crystals from Space Gojira are really good conduits for his mirror powers. Infinite willpower will ensure he doesn't lose his mind, but the confusion will not leave him for a long time.

You are 99% angel and 1% human. That's what the human option does, you can change race but ni matter what you will stay at least 1% human. Which does fuck up some powers, like Agares, which requires you to become a pureblood dragon to trigger the fusion of the components. In this case you probably will not get a full angel form, always having a little bit of your human self in there, but from what I saw it wouldn't affect much. On a different note, taking angel with Prime Soul would make you invincible against almost everbody, since the AT field runs on willpower and Prime Soul gives infinite willpower.

That was the idea, with the melting pot at the center being where everything mixes and stuff like that. Originally the idea was to have stuff like monster pokemon that started mutating like Holows, with some gaining a humanoid form like Arrancars, Dark continent monsters eating devil fruits, stuff like that. The placement of the smaller worlds is already a sort of fusion of settings, but that lost a bit of logic in the new map transfer. Either way there is some crazy stuff afoot at the borders.

Something will start happening over time, they are supposed to be all isekaied, I originally mistook the setting. I'm not an expert on kansas either, but I can find something, I'm pretty sure it's a normal place. His backstory is pretty simple all things considered.

It would have to be the opposite technically, after all if she eats something in the real world it will be gone in the mirror world too by the time she's done. On the other hand if she eats something not in view of a mirror the equivalent in the real world should be unaffected so she can eat it twice. Unless she starts in human form however they will have to find a very big mirror.

Lucas has no reason to, and the system will alert him that he met his team so there shouldn't be problems on his side, and I don't think he looks particularly tasty. It's kinda funny how the less aware members of the team gathered up first. Of all the people he could meet Lucas managed to find the ones that wouldn't be much help in explaining the situation. At least they are fun to be around.

Right now not much differently from a normal human if I understand his powers correctly. At most Prime Soul could allow him to keep his sanity once infected out of sheer force of will. After resurrection he would be immune but hopefully it will not come to that.

If we go the Explorers way then doing something related to that class should be enough to switch to it, I'm not sure how it works in other games. Dark Knight should be easy, getting darkness atribute and an axe doesn't seem hard, Reaper is probably harder.

I'm not sure how long the "rounds" are, but the longer they wait, the harder the bounties become. A place like Victory Road, might be the most peaceful spot. Or one of the remote islands on one piece.

I don't know about Pokemon. Midgar at least is an actual city, but Victory Road is a cave/stretch of land filled with the strongest wild Pokemon the game throws at you. They're moreso arenas and not the actual total worlds I believe, so while Midgar is an exception since it's the entire city, I can't expect the others to be lively. Blasted Tokyo and New World probably have outcrops of civilization too, and obviously the Namekians exist. They're probably all already dead since 3 days have already past... but they exist(ed)!

For Midgar, I can see the team assisting them for supplies and information. Are we able to take people from a world and move them to another? In case we need servants and such in the New World base.

If Raccoon City progresses to RE9's Raccoon City then you could hire BSAA too, as well as any other NPC merc teams that seem to exist. FoD contracts with ninja are probably effective for intel.

This is where it all began and IMHO the truest incarnation of it. Liminal Spaces are creepier BECAUSE there's nothing identifiable there. If we want to talk about LL's Balance Breaker, I'd imagine any "monsters" spawned by it ought to remain "strange"... kind of inching into "eldritch" without really picking up its tropes/attributes, if that makes sense. Minutiae about the myriad "levels", along with the levels themselves, were added later. I think the more detail you add, the less SOVL it has. Just... empty places of varying types, that change layout when you're not looking.

Of course Llewellyn's versions will have random patches of 8/16 bit glitch-static, but I figure they're actually MORE stable than his immediate vicinity on the outside.

The team could seek out the main characters for help. Jack (the insert) seems to know a lot about One Piece lore, so he'd know canon stuff that could help us in the New World. I doubt Zara's isekai would know anything about One Piece. Since I'm planning for her isekai to be from before the 1990's. One Piece wouldn't be out yet in her version of Earth.

Not for the guy that still hasn't figured out that all his appliances are actually just his multitool and that the toaster isn't supposed to act like a calendar+cellphone. As far as Lucas knows that's just normal, and Prime Soul makes sure he doesn't go insane while looking at it so as far as he knows it's also harmless. I think Lucas would be one of the few people to treat Llewellyn like a normal person.

She also has some kind of space , so she's not all brute strength.

The badlands aren't from SMT, they are from the bunch of generic isekai manhua and manga with game like systems and non. Despite the name the badlands are actually quite green, like the stereotypical fantasy settings, the reason they are called badlands is that unlike the rest of the worlds they don't have a specific setting and are more chaotic. Mostly based on regression/reincarnation settings.
So food isn't going to be a problem, I'm pretty sure Zara can eat the monsters too, humans eat them too.

Depending on the tower we may be able to steal control and turn it into a dungeon, so we can have both the siege where we are the attackers and the one where we defend it from invaders with system control on our side.

After all, Wano isn't exactly welcoming of outsiders and it's gonna be a looong while until our lads and ladies can take on a mega tournament-buffed up Beast Pirates.

Ironically enough since Jack will no longer be any type of Bounty, He's likely going to be abysmally weaker than he would be "normally" until he gets a fair bit of training in.

I'm not sure how fast canon would progress, but we have at least 2 people able to visualize a party menu so they will be searching for him at least. And the rest of the party is smart enough to come up with the New World theory if they have the information so they would be going there after meeting up. It's a matter of timing.
As an aside I think it worked out surprisingly well and our 2 system users are 1 in each group so they can know there are more members and search for each other.

Finished reading! Had to do it at home so I can watch the video too. This was lots of fun! You captured the tone and goofy style of One Piece really well into the writing. Especially, the exaggerated way the crew reacted to the insertion process.

This first half is mostly exposition, but the image and rapid pace helped. Never read this far into One Piece but, this was a good summary of where the canon character was. So he was a fairly impressive captain and he's at war with some minks(?). He conquered them(?) Zara will note that he hates rodents!

She can eat anything in her kaiju form, but her small form's pallate is more delicate. Hollows kinda look like people so she'd be wary of eating them, unless they're properly seasoned and cooked properly. Hopefully the crew can find a good cook, and someone can cook for her. At which point, it'll turn into an episode of Delicious in Dungeon, and she'll try to get the others to eat Hollows with her. If the base is in Hueco Mundo, hopefully there'd be more edible things crawling through the border like SMT monsters and replica pokemon.

Replica Pokemon are on the menu, since it's connected, but on the other side there is One Piece so not much, maybe some fish? There are the Monster Hunter monsters tho, that really would turn into dungeon meshi if start cooking that, the eating cutscenes in those games are amazing.

It has access to everything but it's still on the other side of the map compared to New World. Racoon City and Midgar are on the opposite side, Cursed Tokyo is in the middle, even assuming some kind of spatial distortion it's still faster to go via melting pot than having to go all the way around. The badlands are supposedly infinite, so it's better to not stray too far unless necessary.
