Doing my first army.I was originally going full Scintillating Legion but realized I wanted to paint a wider range after getting my blue horrors done. I picked up Thousand Sons because I'm locked in on Tzeentch. Currently painting my first Rubric.My general idea of the basing scheme is to have wildly different bases for each unit. I want to sacrifice visual cohesiveness for the theme of Tzeentch mocking the individual fates of each model. For exampleRubrics- Dusty sands for obvious reasons.Pink Horrors - Blue warp energy because they split into bluesBlue-Horrors- Mordant Earth over lava because they become Brimstones.Brimstones- Ashen rock because all that is left of them will be ash.Magnus- Maybe the ruins of a library.I still need ideas for alot of them, but it's a fun little project to learn a new way to base for each box of stuff.
