TQ: I just posted a reply to the one retard acting like green land tutoring is not a very powerful almost entirely green ability in the previous postIn my deck- as I posted just now I put stranglehold which limits others as a beautiful stax piece in favor of opposition agent and Dream render (both too easy to kill)For how it would affect me, I have Vampiric, Demonic and Grim Tutor. IF I get so as lucky to draw one, I usually will search for Sol Ring, or Mana Vault if I already have the Ring. Or if it’s later, I’ll find some evasion or some other essential piece like Shadowspear or Exsaguinate if my life total has taken a beating or I need to end the game. I recently slotted in Urza Saga, Wayfarer’s Bauble (this has been in and out) and Navigation Orb- I often go games without drawing any of these so it’s normal draw whatever and win with my commander which is the win con in my deck. The only fetch I have right now is Polluted Delta. Urza is great to find something I’m missing be it Sol Ring, Chrome Mox or Mox Diamond or even Shadowspear or Manifold Key or Sensei’s Top. Lots of great options that depend on the board and the turn number. If I couldn’t use level 3 tutor ability, I might cast Imprisoned in the Moon on it to keep it around as a colorless land or bounce it back to hand or something to get more constructs. Although because I have leyline of singularity I probably would not make many constructs with it. The two land tutors + the one fetch land I have the deck would likely play as just a typical Grixis deck with no island mountain or swamp searching at all. Usually I do like to grab my underground sea or volcanic island with Delta though :)If I wasn’t able to use tutors I’m confident that my strong original deck building skills, along with a suite of nice card draw/selection (Ponder, Preordain, Night’s Whisper, Black Market Connections, Rhystic Study, Relic of Sauron and The One Ring + Sensei’s Top) would help me win.
