I hope Derelict Station Anon is doing well, wherever life has led him.
Reposting the OC I made from last thread. If the implication wasn't clear, I'll be monitoring the thread and letting people know how well their schemes work out.
>>97891990Insurance Insurance 13, Identity Loss Insurance, Ring of Minor MagicRepeat for each incarnation. This is ~7 incarnations where I will keep my identity. ~7 incarnations for researching magic. If I happen to become immortal in my next or next next reincarnation, then buy Immortality Insurance instead of Identity Loss Insurance.
>>97891825Thats not blade dancers
>>97891990Hmm... >Toss It x3I know myself well enough to know I wouldn't trust some random envelope. After a few more weeks of the same letter, though, I'll begrudgingly open it and then get wowed.Let's see here... I start with 15 MA.>Loss of Power Insurance x10 (-10 MA)(5 MA left)Going all-in on this.>Identity Loss Insurance (-2 MA)(3 MA left)>Geas Insurance (-2 MA)(1 MA left)>Curse Insurance (-1 MA)(0 MA left)Alright, I now have an assurance that I won't lose my identity, cannot be coerced into a task I can't complete, and receive commensurate blessings for any curses I undergo. Now, for the gift.>A Professional ReferenceThat's right. I plan to wheel and deal with the pit. First things first, I'm quitting my job and dipping into my savings. I have enough piled up to live for two years, which should suffice. I will spend the next several months drafting a meticulously detailed contract, with every word and term extensively defined within the document. This contract will propose that I get a stack of magic equivalent to what I possessed in my past life, in exchange for an equivalent duration of servitude, herein defined as tasks of proportionate value pursued and accomplished for Azezal, Beezle, and Shultz. Given the sheer, heinous ambiguity of what they could demand of me, I've no doubt it would go over well. The contract will be as airtight as I can make it, but will feature several amateurish mistakes which would, in theory, allow an overeager fiend to revoke my magic outside the bounds of the contract's stipulations whilst retaining my utter servitude. This isn't to say a clause in the contract, but rather, a gap in semantics that they could take advantage of without written backing. The way I see it, this is a win-win.
>>97891990>Toss it>Toss it>Open itFucking spam mail>Insurance insurance 15Hopefully after like a hundred incarnations of this humanity cures aging and I can take immortality insurance. Everything else is worthless for now.>Stamp of ApprovalCould be profitable.
>>97892087Either ABS honors the contract and I get magic to thereby pursue immortality in exchange for a lifetime of work, albeit obscene, or the fiend's evil nature prevails and it revokes the magic without a legal basis, thus triggering the loss of power insurance and I am then set. The other insurances grant me a bit more wiggle room. Now, I'm under no delusions that this isn't insanely risky and foolhardy, but I think this is the most feasible route to regain magic within my lifetime. Who knows? Maybe my hackneyed legalese and performance can impress my benefactors enough to get me a job.

>>97891990>Geas InsuranceArrange a cult based on on restoring magic, apotheosis, cursing me, and various fringe schemes to defraud using the wills and commands of the members and rules.. They will leave wills that arrange for me to carry out various missions. Some might die before their time. >Loss of Power Insurance x10If possible, I will just have someone take my ring off unprompted and see if that triggers it. Going forward, I will use any magical related things I defraud out to go into this to pump me with more magic.>Identity Loss InsuranceWill protect from any insanity resulting from being artificially pumped with magic and give me an out to any identity crises later.>Curse InsuranceUsing curses arranged by the cults and defrauding the know how to cast, I can use this to exploit mental alteration curses the most in tandem with the Identity Insurance. >Ring of Minor MagicPivotal to abusing with Loss of Power Insurance and hopefully able to be examined and studied to recreate effects when I am imbued with magical energy. Would have been nice to have another gift since their is a lot of synergy there for fun stuff.
>>97891990Reincarnation fraudGeas Insurance: -2Loss of Power Insurance:-1Identity Loss Insurance:-2Curse Insurance: -1Monster Insurance: -1Insurance Insurance: -8A professional referenceWell then one of the first frauds I can have as a backup plan is incarnation, trough the power of Identity Loss Insurance, I will keep my memories trough my incarnations as I recover my identity for any reason that I lose my identity, and memory loss from reincarnation definitely falls into this. With this I can abuse Insurance Insurance to get a new complimentary gift each time. But even if I don’t well I got a pretty good form of immortality going. Then we have power insurance in case I gain any powers trough items or further dealings to keep them in my future reincarnations. Now I took Geas Insurance specifically for dealing with the demons in A professional reference they will 100% scam me, so well they get compensated for it, I don’t get the bad secret contract clauses it’s a win win. Professional reference is probably the most powerful option and the most dangerous one but it has the most potential. Now for the curses, it specifies intentionally incurring the wrath, but what if I did not incure the wrath of a demon and just willingly accepted being cursed? Well then it should trigger and I am sure I can buy some curses from the professional reference.Monster insurance in case I get something like a whistle of monster summoning in my further reincarnations or maybe even summon something via the professional references. Then I will be able to exchange regular stuff into magical objects. Picked it just because of possible price hikes in future insurance. Trough enough cycles or reincarnation I am sure a solution will be found and at least all of those repeated insurance time freezes and potential complimentary gifts might leach in enough magic. But the demons will probably provide a faster solution.
>>97891990>Insurance:Loss of Power Insurance (10)Monster Insurance (2)Geas InsuranceCurse Insurance> ItemWhistle of Monster SummoningObvious synergy between Monster Insurance and the Whistle. While they don't HAVE to listen to me they still might if I ask nicely enough. I could potentially have a monster set my whole house on fire. The other idea is to have a monster (demons and fey should be good for this, alternatively I can try to use some of the other magic flowing into this world) hit me with a curse (technically Curse Insurance is only invalid if I have them curse me out of anger, so if I just ask nicely I'd technically be good), which gives me blessings thanks to Curse Insurance. Then if I were to lose the blessing that should trigger Loss of Power Insurance. Hard part is doing so without triggering the 'did not willingly give them up' clause. Maybe if the curse is inherently temporary, then the blessing would be as well? Maybe the curse automatically goes away when the monster disappears? Also added Geas Insurance, if I can 'bring up the possibility' of someone casting a geas on me to get out of this world, the insurance company should be obligated to give me anything I need to accomplish this.
>>97891990>quirkslop with pointless boring optionsI'm surprised it received any attention at all. I guess people are REALLY desperate for OC that's not just an update to an already bloated and large messy CYOA.

>>97892242Complaints like these have no substance to them. We have never, in the history of the /cyoag/, gotten a CYOA about committing insurance fraud. It's a fresh premise with well-done graphics and plenty of subtle synergies between options. It is no surprise that anons are engaging with it.
