I've noticed that Tankista likes to make cyoas with urban fantasy settings. Have you ever considered making a cyoa set in the Shin Megami Tensei universe?
Recent threads have felt pretty slow, so I wanna post an interactive I was playing around with last night:https://accuratevariety.github.io/Black-magic/Setting seems fun - very urban fantasy JJK adjacent, using magic to fight curses but with extra shit in there - and it's a rare interactive that feels like its better off as an interactive for reasons that aren't just 'this fuckers is too long', with things changing as you select different options.The powers especially I like a lot, seems like a lot of effort went into them and they feel more interesting than the usual stock powers. They tend to have a basic function and then a more magicky esotoric effect. Like it has that 'clap to teleport switch places with something' thing but you can also switch wounds with someone or switch it so that people believe someone else committed the crimes you did.It also has a bunch of magic which have you do complicated urban legend type rituals to get a more esoteric effect if you do them right. Like a ritual where ride an elevator up and down a building and if done right the elevator lets you off anywhere else on earth, and wrong you get fucking Final Destination'd.Unfortunately this general hates interactives, but hopefully some other anon has fun with it.

I cut my finger, but I didn't notice it, and when I looked down on my keyboard, it was covered in blood. So I spent some time rubbing the blood off the keyboard. It's such a special and cool feeling, like I'm an assassin who just murdered someone, but now I need to quickly remove traces of evidence.Have there been any cyoas that are about erasing evidence? Cleaning up blood, silencing witnesses, retrieving your objects from the crime scene so your local Detective Columbo won't catch you. That could really work, I think.

The difference is that updates add new content, and remastering is when you take the entire CYOA and remake it. Updates are fine and I do them all the time, but remakes I have NEVER EVER done, not even once. Also, I did the update to Your CYOA because I wanted to do something CYOA related which would not require much time at all while I was painting my Warhammer army. It is 100% valid to criticize a visual medium for having bad art, just like it is valid to criticize it for having bad writing. Like I don't have any complaints on any other CYOA author when it comes to the quality of the art they use. I said I thought it would get done late last year, but then I decided to buy a few more models and also a wargaming table with a lot of terrain, and I'm still not done painting up all the terrain pieces. Fun my wargaming table and terrain fully matches the theme of the bases of my models so it will look really nice when I play them on the table. And unlike most wargamers I paint terrain with the same attention to detail as I paint miniatures. This takes a lot of time, but I hate to do things half assedly so that is why it's taking so much time. But if GW does not release any new dragon models, I think I should be able to finish my army and Hentai Heroine this year.
