If you mean the specific adventure I think it's awful proto-3e stuff that doesn't even remotely invoke the art so I don't care at all. And for all that 4e might be the most mechanically straightforward and boring way to approach this, it at least had epic destinies to interact with this tier of play which imo worked better than 5e's epic boons because they started to get into conceptual stuff like being able to steal ideas or memories.

I look at my phone while the dm is yapping and when someone tells me it’s my turn (we take turns, it’s a game you morons) to do something I don’t even look up from my phone I just tap my character sheet with my finger a few times. The dm oops I mean storyteller then picks up my character sheet, reads over it for like the 100th time until he finds the part he failed to account for when building his epic encounter. I'm thankful that for my first campaign as a DM all my players are playing relatively simple characters (Wild Heart Barb, Champion Fighter, Arcane Trickster Rogue, Mercy Monk). Our combat usually goes pretty quickly since most of the "downtime" is from discussing actual strategy as opposed to "oh wait which of these 8 spells I added to my character sheet and promptly forgot about should I use, and how do I use it again?" Keeps things flowing and I don't have to spend any additional time figuring out how the players's characters work for them.
