This is a replacement effect and does not use the stack, meaning, you cannot interact with it. Almost every explore trigger you want to put the card into your graveyard, unless it's something that is literally key for you right now. You'll end up with a hand full of land (powering Empyrial Plate, Zombie Infestation and ensuring you never miss a land drop) and a graveyard full of of dudes (to be brought back with Raise the Past etc) Amalia's 20-power trigger is always on the table and you can surprise people getting to it early with Empyrial Plate and various other power pumps. Amalia damage is often your best wincon, but Zulaport triggers can get there too. If I had to change the deck I'd add another way to turn a wide board of dudes into a win like a spare overrun or or somethingLurrus is strong and gives you something to do with all your spare mana since adding companion to your hand costs 3 now, but he is far from the most important card. I just like the concept of Amalia having a pet kitty.
