>>98130365Depends how long term you mean cause nurgle is the ultimate end.
slaanesh has the most potential for growth and the other gods know it
>>98130390Isn't Nurgle more about proliferation of life? No matter how small? Nurgle's goal isn't the death of all things?
>>98130365>>Thread Question>Which chaos god poses the greatest long term threat to civilization? The setting is called WARhammer, you don't need to do the math.
>>98130365>Which chaos god poses the greatest long term threat to civilization?Tzeentch by far. Wars can end, diseases can be cured, excesses can be restrained, but change is the fundamental fabric of reality, or at the very least, society. Where there is change, where there is potential, he will be there.

Warriors of Chaos on foot removed from EU webstore too
>>98130573That happened yesterday, at the same time as the rulebook going,Chaos Knight seems to still be up so I don't think that model kit is being removed though
this is cool my nigga.im getting the simultaneous urge to paint fantasy and 40k like im getting pulled in two directions idk what to do lol

COME ON JAMES LET'S SEE SOME NEW FORSAKEN
>>98130669Or, at the very least, a mutation sprue for the new chaos warriors. That way, you can make your own forsaken!
>>98130676I mean, I mostly want them for conversion bits anyway, so I'd be more than happy with that.
>>98130562great work again man. What ended up happening with guy who fell?
>>98130776Thanks.Since it's made out of resin it broke neatly and luckily enough where it's doesn't matter much (like the horse and the arm which holds the shield) so I just glued him together and it's all good now.Now I have 3 pegasus knights and a duke to paint and I'll have a 1500pts army to play with.
Does plastic glue work on the clear flight stands or are you meant to use super glue?
>>98130402Technically yes,2" to 5.5" is more growth than Khornes 7" to 9"
>>98130926>implying the god of excess isn't a shower
>>98130806Plastic cement works fine, but the way it bonds kinda ruins the transparent look at the point of application. So if you're gluing the flight stand on a normal textured base it's not a problem, but with stuff like Tau drones and tanks where you have a transparent flight stand and a transparent base, super glue works better.
>>98130926Oh come now, we all know that slaanesh is hauling around a comically oversized priapos looking hog.
>>98130926>He buddy, I think you got the wrong chaos gate; the realm of the Dark Prince is two towns down
>>98130403You have it partially right. He's the embodiment that everything will rot and die and end. His goal is everything is gone. Now, if you specifically mean only the end of Civilization as a concept, I'd say Slaanesh since one of the possible endings is complete devolution into anarchy and hedonism.
>>98131157>realmYou're getting a little too close bub.
>>98130626>>98130633You're welcome m8. Glad people appreciate these, like I do.
>>98131304btw, any thoughts on what faction you would pick?Empire perhaps?
>>98131321NTA but if ghouls still looked like this I might've been a VC chad. Can't stand nu-ghouls, the unit hasn't looked good since fucking Mordheim.
>>98130669I've been edging for hours thinking about new forsaken
>>98131436Do you think GW will make a new Forsaken kit with these new Chaos Warriors?
>>98131438ntahard no
>>98131438Not on the initial release, no. Maybe in a year or so.
>>98130365Conan the Barbarian dislikes cities. How would Conan respond to the Empire's laws and regulations? How would he deal with the noblemen? And could Conan bully Greenskins into being his own army?
>>98131692>How would Conan respond to the Empire's laws and regulations?depends were he ends up, but places like Nuln, Talabheim or Altdorf, he would probably hate but in Middleheimn or Salzenmund, where trial by combat is more comon he would do fine in>deal with noblemanIn the same way he dealt with them in Conan stories, treat them fairly until they betray him, and when they do, kill all their guards and then them
>>98131692Conan doesn't want to have an army, he wants to explore frontiers, kill monsters, fuck women, drink wine, and eat rich meat. Maybe write a 200% hetero poem about the riddle of steel along the way. Conan works better in a Warhammer Quest setting than a WFB setting. Mordheim would be too easy for him, but in WFB he'd have to be seriously clever to take out a ~2500 point force.
It took me way longer than I would like to admit (only 6 models painted in May...). But they are done. Too bad that there's no way to fit the chaos champion in any sensible way. It's either a small gap on the side or a fucked up tray with a skull pile, which would roughly add up to the width of a single 25mm base to the unit.
This 5th ed art of Lady of the Lake fucking slays
>>98131304That pose goes hard as fuck
>>98132095Bretonnia 5th edition everything was fucking impeccable. Unbridled Stillmania is so sick. I pity anons who only know 6e/TWW/TOW Bretonnia, I don't blame them or that diabetic fuck on YT for hating Bretonnia when that's all they've seen of it.
personally i think dwarf miners shouldnt be a separate unit, but rather a small unit attachment like fanatics that you staple onto other dwarf units and allows them to tunnel onto the battlefield.
>>98132207Hard disagree, let the Fanatic strategy stay exclusive to Night Goblins. Would be more interesting if you could instead elect to actually use them as sappers and, by sacrificing being able to deploy them for a couple turns, remove unfavorable terrain from the table, or cause damage to enemy units. The ground under a unit exploding because dorf sappers rigged their tunnel would be fucking amazing. That watchtower those pesky archers were pelting you from is now gone. Etc.
>>98131938Brother your knights look fucking sick
>>98130365Looking at our own long term civilization, SlaaneshNot just horny Slaanesh, but mostly "excess" SlaaneshTzeentch is too self-defeating. Khorne is trivial. Nurgle less so but still gets bodied by hygiene.
>>98132162I mean what changed or was lost after 5th ed?
>>98131938They look perfect. Note fellow anons that his finished models are BASED not just painted.
>>98132523Everything. We lost everything.
>>98132540
>>98132523Nothing, 5thbretfags are just throwing a perpetual tantrum because 6th brought the faction into line with the rest of the setting. I'm so glad I managed to persuade myself to sell my brets back in the day to afford to go all-in on Mordheim when that came out, being associated with these grotesque manchilder would be an awful burden to bear.
>>98132095>>98132162Bretonnia lore peaked at 5th edition, everything after is just fan fiction. I want 5th edition lists so bad. I want to bring a swarm of frogs with damsel. It's crazy how much they butchered Bretonnia lore for TOW but then bent over backwards to show respect to Chinese culture with Cathay.
>>98132523women got hired in traditionally male dominated spaces, now everything is woke and gay (no offense)
>>98132630>brought the faction into line with the rest of the settingThat was the intent but they threw the baby out with the bathwater and then curbstomped it on this one. We went from low fantasy colorful Arthurian HYW France to high fantasy Monty Python shit-smeared inbreds and Ren Faire knights. Biggest fucking downgrade in GW history with maybe the Squats -> Votann as its only rival, there's a reason the range was never touched again in WFB's lifetime after 6th. Even 6e Grail Knights look like shit compared to the 5e precedents.
>>98132630you know we are right, that's why it bothers you so much
>>98130573So TOW is really slowly dying?
>>98132544>>98132540Look I agree that the 5th ed Bret models are absolute beauties and probably some of the best metals GW ever produced, but I don't get why so many people also bundle up the cringetastic Stillore along with it. It's not like they're even that connected, except for the 2 damsel sculpts and some of the more outlandish grail knight headpieces, the Perry twins were very clearly going for a HYW/WTR late 15th century historical look that could do double duty with historical wargaming, it doesn't reflect the Disneyland Saturday morning cartoon vibe of Stilman's writing at all. Like come on Knight De Beau Quest ? What are you, 8? Not like 6th ed lore is any better, they just dialed the cringe all the way up from being appealing to 8 year old boys to 14 year old boys, but still. Except for KOTG making a commendable though ultimately still flawed attempt, Bretonnia has never gotten particularly good or interesting lore, best just enjoy the minis I say.Speaking of Bretonnian models, let me repost this question I didn't get an answer for last thread, because I'm still genuinely puzzled. Does anyone have any earthly idea why one of the Bretonnian peasant banner ornaments is a bird's head and/or what bird it's supposed to be? I painted it as a crane, because of all of the cool lore cranes have from Celts to the Jomon, but I have no idea what it's actually supposed to represent.Further, everyone knows about the 5th ed Perrys, but does anyone know who sculpted the 6th ed M@A? I can find absolutely 0 information online, it's frustrating.
>>98132162
>>98132707I feel like I see a lot of games, but the stuff is always just sitting on the shelf at the LGS.
>>98132711I've always viewed that figurehead as a crane, yeah. Also Stillmaniac Bretonnia is comedic "so noblebright it gets dark" kino which focuses more on the aspect of how ridiculously fragile a man's ego gets when "knightly honor" must be defended from the slightest insult. There was similar fluff that had a Bretonnian knight duel to the death with a Tilean because they couldn't agree whether the most beautiful woman in the Old World was the Fay Enchantress or Lucrezzia Belladonna.
>>98132680Ah yes, the (in)famous woman Anthony Reynolds of course...>>98132674>It's crazy how much they butchered Bretonnia lore for TOW but then bent over backwards to show respect to Chinese culture with Cathay.Such as? I've been reading through the whole Settra storyline presented in the AJs and Brets are depicted as kicking absolute ass, Settra's armies are still stuck sieging that useless border prince fortress because the Brionesse prophetess of the grail has invoked the lady to literally form a divine forcefield around it, he hasn't even entered Bretonnia proper on like year 3 of his campaign.
>>98132735Anthony Reynolds did to Bretonnia what He Who Writes (Gav Thorpe) did to Eldar.
>>98132732>...duel to the death [...] because they couldn't agree [who] the most beautiful woman in the Old World was...Based.
>>98132739Don't even get me started on Lord of the Lance written by that hack Graham McNeil.
>>98132760As retarded as 6e onwards Bretonnia is, whatever the fuck this is is far worse. Glad this flopped and hope gee dubya learned the lesson. The WFRP fem-knight is also irritating, but at least they've held on to the NO GIRLS ALLOWED rule for true Grail Knights. If some tranny wants to play their own poorly written Repanse in WFRP, there was nothing ever stopping them.
>>98132732>There was similar fluff that had a Bretonnian knight duel to the death with a Tilean because they couldn't agree whether the most beautiful woman in the Old World was the Fay Enchantress or Lucrezzia Belladonna.Okay that is pretty in character, please tell me it ended in a "to tell you the truth, I have never read Ariosto" moment. As for Beau Quest, you're free to like what you like anon, but I remember reading it a few years ago and coming away thoroughly unimpressed, IIRC there's absolutely 0 character arcs to be sighted anywhere, it's just valiant knights valiantly slaying evil beasts, very boring.>>98132760Okay yes, I will concede that that book is exceptionally bad, but then again so is pretty much anything published since BL became a thing, it's all horrendous slop as far as I'm concerned.
>>98132770>"to tell you the truth, I have never read Ariosto"Fucking kek, I wish. No, this was in the WD article trying to sell you on Lucrezzia Belladonna I believe, so it had her secretly poisoning the Tilean knight's lance tip by kissing it. The Bretonnian unhorsed the Tilean and won the tilt, but slumped over dead in his saddle from a graze on his arm. If you want some actually good DoW laughs, I posted some a few threads back.>>98096763>>98096769
>>98132766>The WFRP fem-knight is also irritating, but at least they've held on to the NO GIRLS ALLOWED rule for true Grail KnightsOh come on for me that was always one of the funner aspects of Bretonnia as presented in KOTG and I'm infinitely mad the new BLslop book bulldozed it in favour of the blandest possible HR approved "le epic representation" retcon. I really liked Bretonnia being written as this society that has to follow extremely strict rules thought up by a literal deity that doesn't really understand how human societies work, so a large part of Bretonnian society is this hasidic jew tier game of pretend where rich merchants are technically peasants that must offer gifts instead of taxes, knights have to be fake dragged away from fights so they don't kill their entire force in a stupid hopeless fight for no reason, etc. My favourite KOTG NPC is that woman that's pretending to be a roving troubadour that's been going around completely undetected because everyone knows women are supposed to pretend to be knights, not minstrels! It's why the whole merchants of l'Anguille plot line is so interesting and one of the main threads of the sourcebook. We see that in the future the main threat to Bretonnia won't be some stupid roided out viking killing everyone, it's going to be the implacable march of history as the material conditions of Bretonnias economy are bound to evolve in a way that will make the upkeep of Bretonnias chivalric laws and social system increasingly difficult and, sooner or later, impossible. That's where the fun spice is, what makes Bretonnia worthwhile as a fictional setting, not the 5th ed bargain bin fairy tale, the 6th ed le funny monty python reference or TOWs HR-approved D&D coffeeshop AU (which ironically ressembles 5th ed lore more than anything).
>>98132711>De Beau QuestI don't get it
>>98132797The knights name is a subtle joke you'll find
>>98132731I see the exact opposite with AoS. Literally only ever seen it played once IRL, and that was at fucking Warhammer World, yet it does seem to be selling reasonably well, at least in Europe. My guess is artfags just paint the models for fun.>>98132793>rich merchants are technically peasants that must offer gifts instead of taxesExactly how it worked prior to the middle class being a generally accepted concept, yes. This is a /his/fag bit.>knights have to be fake dragged away from fights so they don't kill their entire force in a stupid hopeless fight for no reasonAnother "so noblebright it's dark" and /his/fag in-joke. Look up the Battle of Crécy and the last charge of King John the Blind, the French were practically suicidally chivalrous, and 5e Bretonnia frequently pokes fun at the idea of chivalry and knightly honor taken to the extreme.>the material conditions of Bretonnias economy are bound to evolve in a way that will make the upkeep of Bretonnias chivalric laws and social system increasingly difficult and, sooner or later, impossible. This is much easier and more believable in a society in which the peasants are becoming increasingly prosperous and not much different from knights. This is not something that would happen in a ridiculous Monty Python society in which the peasants are shit-smeared inbred retards who genuinely are barely human and completely dependent on knightly feudal systems for protection. You're so close to getting it, you're just reaching the wrong conclusion.
What are the chances we get a cathay black library book in the near future?
>>98132820>in the near futureZero>in the futureVery high
>>98132821Cool. Even though I like the dragons I'm hoping they play a minor role. I really dislike the 40k/AoS books that have named characters from the tabletop as the protagonist. Feels like there is no tension.
>>98132832The only 40k BL character worth caring about is Ciaphas Cain, because anything that even slightly resembles Flashman is instantly giga-based. I've also heard Eisenhorn is good, but I'm not into nu-40gay enough to bother.
>>98132802Debauched?
>>98132851It's not an innuendo, it's just not terribly creative. It literally means "of good quest," i.e. the Perilous Quest campaign scenario. Also the Castellan model's official character name literally means "frog".
>>98131938They look lovely, anon. Shame about the chaos hero not fitting in too well
>>98132814WFB in general seems way more popular in Europe than in the US. I wonder why that is.
>>9813297540k just massively overshadows WFB here, while AoS is basically nonexistent, at least in my area. WFB play exists even in smaller communities, it's just far less popular than 40k, D&D, TCG etc.

>>98133211HYW is accurate, WOTR is closer to Empire
>>98133056Really? That would be nice unless its not mainly written from the TKs perspektive. Hate that shit.
I wish there was more use for the "Sergeant at Arms" (>implying a "sergeant" would be commanding like 100+ doods) for Bretonnia. The idea of a peasant lieutenant is kino, like a John Falstaff type figure who keeps the common fighting men in line while the knights organize themselves and their lances separately.
>>98133069First of all I'd make the flame point up and the mace rest on the ground
>>98133271Wasn't Falstaff a Knight? My Henriad knowledge is not the best
>>98133285Ah, true. The only other similar example I know of is William Marshal, but he was also a (poorfag) knight. Still, it's feasible an experienced retainer might find themselves acting as an officer. Maybe medieval sergeants commanded more men than their modern equivalent, I'm not really sure, actually.
>>98133271>>98133303>Medieval sergeants were typically soldiers of lower social status than knights, and they commanded groups of men-at-arms and foot soldiers, often leading larger contingents than modern sergeants, who usually oversee smaller teams. The structure of medieval armies allowed sergeants to have significant command over various types of troops, unlike the more specialized roles seen today.I am shown once again to be a dumbfuck chud. For once GW actually did something right. On the plus side I learned something new.
I really enjoy the illustrations from the Inferno! magazine. Even if they're all B&W the're good.GW should do more of this.

Also I want Zhao Ming already.

>>98133355Which book is this from?
>>98133492>Also I want Zhao Ming alreadyThey should have made the dragon form a multipart kit that can be built to represent multiple different dragons depending on the bits and paintjob and them released the human forms separately
Core rules and Chaos Warriors gone from AUS webstore as well. Do you think Dark Elves will come out of legacies? Seems most likely to me
>>98133535I think they might still do something like that. Miao's human form has a separate sprue right? Is it out of the question that for miao ying or yuan bo they just replace the human sprue with some additional dragon bits to build a different head or maybe a slightly different pose and call it a day?Seems like a big waste to make a whole new sprue for the other dragons when they're basically exactly the same bar the head/mane/whatever you wanna call it.
>>98133523Yeah, he was the guy rumoured to be doing the Miao Ying book, I guess BL could always try and find another writer for Cathay books like Gene Luen Yang or Fonda Lee, but I don't think either would be interested in BL's page rate for books

lol I did not know that they literally did advertise it as le epic grimdark back when they released the 6th ed AB, that's so funny.>>98134772The WFRP art budget has always been 6 dollars, some shoestring and half a chicken sandwich anon
>>98134805I doubt that proper illustrators like John Blanche, Ian Miller or Adrian Smith worked for a chicken sandwich and a bottle of coke.
>>98134841In Miller's and Blanch's case, they only did cover art which generally pays better than interior artworkSmith only did WFRP artwork when he was starting out, later stuff that was used for WFRP was always reused artwork, either from WFB or Warcry CCG art
Okay I finally found out who sculpted the 6th ed Ma@A. Insane that you have to actually go all the way back to finding the original WD they were released in to find this info. Interesting that it had 3 whole people working on it, Gary Morley, the king of goofy 80s-90s oldhammer infantry and lanky monsters, Martin Footitt, who grew up to become one of modern GW's last great sculptors and Adam Clarke who has since gone on to ply the indie trade with black scorpion minis.
>>98134935Interestingly, looking at what Clarke has done since going solo, you can tell he probably wasn't the one pushing the grimderp, these guys look like perfectly respectable soldierly, if a bit pop-his leaning.>>98134841WFRP reuses their WHFB artwork a lot, but there have been pretty few pieces comissioned to them specifically for WFRP. Only Blanche one I can think of is the Withered Tree of Hope?
>>98134953>Only Blanche one I can think of is the Withered Tree of Hope?i think the cover to The Enemy Within he did of Nuln wasn't reused artwork but other than that i really can't think of any purposeful Blanche artwork for WFRP
>>98134953All things considered I'd take the current men-at-arms over these guys.
is there a neferata model that doesn't cost 150 bucks or whatever the 'mortarch' model costs? I have nehekharan tomb kings shit and was thinking I could just swap in the skeletons for vampire cunts skeletons (or just have a lahmian tomb queen) but I don't want to pay a lot of money for a 'soulblight gravelord' model.
>>98135661She had an old metal model but I don't know the price for that second-hand
>>98135661You can get her old metal model + her kitty cat for ~50 canuck bucks plus shipping on ebay.
Alright, beastbros and degenerates, what should I do with my greater bray-shaman's base? Pic related has three potential ideas, but a less risque option I'm considering is a smoking censer/brazier placed out in front.I've also included some of the earlier attempts at the fat ungors I'm working on. Anyone know what the best mixture for sculpting skin is? I'm just sort of trying stuff as I go.
>>98135751A imo
>>98135751The pregnant one is the creepiest.
>>98135751Do you actually get any games in with your coomer beastwomen? What is the usual reaction?
>>98134935>>98134953One of the saddest parts of modern GW has been the total discarding of any credit for artists/writers/sculptors. The dude who did some of the modern Necromunda terrain built in a bunch of alt-configurations that I only ever knew about from seeing his twitter randomly.
>>98135872You gotta hunt it all down on their individual instagram pages and blogs and whatnot. I know maxime pastourel documents a lot of his work on his blog.
>>98135872They probably want to avoid any artist gaining a reputation and either leveraging it for higher pay or setting up shop elsewhere.
>>98135751C + sculpt elf ears on the pregant woman.
>>98135814I'd need something to put on the tray then. Maybe something for conducting rituals.I have food for the tray, but I feel like that would be better for the fat fuck I'm using as the faction leader of the fat ungors.>>98135842>>98135950C was the one I started with.Works for the character. Her whole schtick is spreading chaos mutations through pregnancies. Her goal for the campaign is to conduct a grand ritual to corrupt the pregnancies of all the women in Tilea so they can give birth to nothing but beastmen or general mutants.>>98135850The beastmen force I'm working on is strictly for a narrative campaign I'm doing with some buddies. If I wanted to go out and play in a public place, I'd have the decency to use my Tomb Kings instead.Even then, the force as a whole isn't all that coomer. The only sexual stuff is found in my greater bray-shaman's faction - but she's tied up with fertility, so it makes sense. The other two factions are focused around gluttony and martial perfection. If I wanted to play in public with my beastmen, I'd use the lists I build with them instead.
>>98135944Undoubtedly that's the reason and that's a perfect demonstration of what modern GW is.
>>98135049meh, I could take both. The main problem of the current one imho remains that their polearm+pavise loadout doesn't really make sense, I still don't get how you're supposed to fight with a polearm using only 1 arm.>>98135872>>98135944Sadly true. At least in this day and age everyone of them just has his own instagram page you can easily find if you know what you're looking for.>>98135966A severed hand in a puddle of gore could be fun. Or an entire head.
>>98135751I like B.
>>98136083>The main problem of the current one imho remains that their polearm+pavise loadout doesn't really make senseYeah I agree. Not sure why they didn't give them weapon options like two handed polearm, spear and shield and sword and shield.
>>98135751>futa goat shamanHnnnngggggggg
>>98133391
>>98135850You might be thinking of me with the full beastwomen army. I've had 25 games with them. The usual reaction is "huh, ok" but a bunch of people have really liked them. I've only had a couple people who don't play TOW complain, but they're also the 40k college kids who paint their models in rainbows and sequins. I'm really not kidding on that. They also told someone they couldn't play dark eldar in the league, and its the group that wouldn't let me use the GW produced dark elf bloodbowl team because it was inappropriate. College people these days are a mistake.
>>98135751C is best for that particular model, but it depends on a lot on the rest of the army for cohesion I'd say. For example, B with chained wrists going to the shaman would fit a very different theme but also be pretty cool.
>>98135751Why are all beastmen army players like this?
>>98136668High test
>>98136555>B with chained wrists going to the shaman would fit a very different theme but also be pretty cool.I actually plan to give the leaders of my herd's three factions an "upgrade" later down the line. The fat ungor gets a palanquin, the greater bray-shaman gets an altar, and the beastlord is either going to get a chariot or become an exalted slaangor (because I got one of those AoS slaangor kits secondhand and I feel like I should use it).For the altar, I was thinking about adding additional models to it. Haven't quite hit the full planning stage for it yet, but right now, I'm thinking it'll be some human slaanshi cultists, prisoners, and maybe some warped gors or another bray-shaman or two. The cultists and prisoners will either be pregnant, or soon to be pregnant - what with the whole "dark fertility" deal.
>>98134805>le epic grimdark>look inside>"A Knight's Tale" Ren FaireWhat were they THINKING
>>98136861Put the exalted slaangor AND the beastlord on the chariot
>>98136861I genuinely love that Slaanesh has so many options. I like that mine is fear, torture, and terrorism based but also a dark fertility cult makes just as much sense.
I might've gotten into Slaanesh daemons if Juan Diaz daemonettes weren't like $30 apiece. Maybe I can find a 'caster who carries them.
>>98136896The flexibility of Slaanesh is what makes them my favourite chaos god, but it's also what makes me hate GW (more than usual) for squandering so much creative potential for Slaaneshi shit.Honestly, hammering out, and actually getting to use, the rules for my warherd this campaign has been some of the most fun I've had with Fantasy/TOW. I played a whole game with the gluttonous faction of my warherd where every unit on the table recieved drunken, and you could only roll either unsteady or belligerent. My buddy lost that game because his knights ran off the board, and a great sword unit wandered around aimlessly all match.
>themYeah no, fuck off faggot. You know you're not supposed to actually worship Slaanesh IRL, right?
Making Marienburg doodsWhat are you working on?
Vgh... sovl...>>98137224I'm moving soon so my painting is gonna have to wait. Going to be sanding my proonted pillar of fire, trimming flash, straightening lances, etc. Boring shit. Good thing I haven't glued anything to bases yet, should make transport a lot easier to just bubble wrap everything loose.
>>98137057That was the correct grammar. Are you really that mind broken you can't even read a sentence without thinking about trannies? Touch grass retard.
>>98133391Isn't the Spirit of Grugni supposed to work on an ICE oil using engine or am I misremembering?
>>98137377Maybe you should have used "shem" the canonical pronoun used by Slaanesh's followers.
>>98137377>>98137388Not that that would stop the faggot from sperging out because he can't go five seconds without inserting his identity politics into every conversation.
>>98136873T-the s-same one? W-would they be t-touching hands on it... K-kissing perhaps (〃ノωノ)
>>98137224Is that no-nonsense Hanryk? How many times has he discharged his blunddrbuss?
>>98137224Painting my black (red) orcs.I've done black armour on orcs before so I wanted to change it up a bit. The rest of the army will just have traditional black armour with red Shields. 15 to go.
>>98137404It's the Perryfag, he know exactly what to say or do to role people up.He's an israeli asset sent here to make this thread miserable because we the unsavory people can't have shit. We must end the Perryfag before he actually manages to destroy warhammer
>>98137313For what it's worth, a lot of ex-citadel companies carry quite similar looking kits if you're into that
>>98137418>Da Bloods coming at ya straight from da BadlandsLovely guys. I quite like the red armour, very soulful.>>98137424The key is to simply ignore them :)

>>98136668Because the Fimir aren't an army
>>98137313It is kinds odd that they use crosses in Warhammer gravestones given they have various imperial cults rather than Christianity Maybe it's like the imperial cross and just represents the empire, but that's slightly contrived
>>98137519I've never actually seen that kit irl but i do wonder if it's very gothic latehammer aesthetic would jive well with these more goofy proportions. Maybe this one would work better? >>98137620The usage of crosses, from graveyards to Bretonnian heraldry is always something I found immensely boring. Sure you can make some contrived explanation how actually in whfb crosses are an undead warding symbol or whatever, but we all know what's really happening here, you're desperate for that Universal Monsters cheesy gothic feel and have just lazily copied House of Dracula (1945) wholesale because you're a lazy unimaginative hack. I'm typically of the opinion that fluff isn't something we should take that seriously and that fundamentally it's still all just a fun game where you push around silly models, but that's a step way too far into pure hackery for me. It just signals you have 0 interest in building a coherent setting and that I might as well just play Erehwon. It's why I was very happy when the Garden of Morr came out because at least with that kit they consciously tried to develop a graveyard architecture that actually works with the Empires god of death.
Does anyone know if the Orc MTO has shipped out yet? I missed it and can't find any on ebay...
>>98137224Hida Houseguard.I'm not sure what the ever living fuck my Clan War figures can be used for, but I'll try renegade crowns.

>>98137388>Shem (/ʃɛm/; Hebrew: שֵׁם Šēm; Arabic: سَام, romanized: Sām)[a] is one of the sons of Noah in the Bible (Genesis 5–11[1] and 1 Chronicles 1:4).>The children of Shem are Elam, Ashur, Arpachshad (or Arphaxad), Lud and Aram, in addition to his unnamed daughters. Abraham, the patriarch of Jews, Christians, and Muslims, is one of the descendants of Arphaxad.>In medieval and early modern European tradition he was considered to be the ancestor of the peoples of Asia,[2][3][4] and he gives his name to the title "Semites" formerly given to West Asian peoples.[5] What an interesting Venn diagram of coincidences.
>>98137721Is this a symbol you've seen before for Morr? (the staff at the bottom of the pic)That should probably be the universal gravestone decoration for the Empire, Estalia and Tilea. Also I wonder what Bretonnian peasants think about their afterlife, because I believe the Lady only really gives a shit about the nobles.
I can't wait for nu chaos warriors with dynamic poses and a gorillion gubbins and trinkets on them.
>>98137941Webbing with potion pouches, daemon whiskey and water canteen. Chaos MRE filled backpack. It's chaos time.
>>98137937Huh don't remember that symbol specifically, I was thinking more about the Morrite ravens and roses.>Also I wonder what Bretonnian peasants think about their afterlifeWell probably the same as Imperials, hoping to get to Morr's realm. The ABs spend 0 time on this, but WFRP says it's the same polytheistic society as the rest of the Old World, with the cult of Shallya being specially important among the peasantry.
Unless the new knights are chunky I don’t care for them.

>>98138108I want the minis and I don't see them available from any recaster.
>>98132913Beau Quest also possibly a riff on "Beau Geste", an adventure novel about the French Foreign Legion, which also had a TV adaptation in the early 80s. I've found some British wargamers of A Certain Age make (or, sadly increasingly, "made") numerous references and puns accordingly.
>>98138702WFB recasters are shit even on y********, and if you're outside Ewerape they won't even ship to you. I paid a disgusting amount of money for my 5e Bretonnians secondhand.

>>98138756>mail forwardingDon't trust it for bulk buys.>secondhand recastsNah. All my commoners are the exact same size, and every knight and character either came out of a blister or was covered in one thick coat on an ancient GW goblin green base when I got it. So at least it'll have decent resale value if I shit my pants and die. Still would've rather saved the money with Ivan, but at least my money went to grogs and not nu-GW.
