What does your faction think of Skaven?

Skaven really shouldn't have been a starter army, they're background enemies until the shit really hits the fan

So now that we digested the releas, rate ogors out of 10
>>
>>98401585
6/10. The generic ogres are great. The named characters range from boring/bland to shit. Also the actual background lore for the characters is boring.
>>
I want to convert the vampire lord like in Pic related, using the knight of shrouds sword. Would snipping and glueing the blade and handle be enough, or would that be too flimsy?
>>
>>98401614
I'd pin it.
>>
>>98401585
8/10, would be 9/10 if I really liked mawseekers but bcr is for lyfe for me. Not really mush misses, I think the enitre army blends in well with each other overall and actually looks better when its all put toegether if that makes sense.

My tzeentch arcanites dont like them because they dont have anything to infaltrate, and they dont really have demons that can sway them one way or the other. So they probably job to them.

My sylvaneth treelord group doesnt like them either because ruination is great for harvesting season.

Alright here goes:
>gluttons
Solid 8/10 redesign, couple of things I miss like the beartraps and shit, and I don't like the new helmet shape but overall very happy. Good anount of weapon options too, especially all the ironfists are nice.
>ironguts
9/10 fucking love their look and probably my favourite unit based off that alone, but I can't in good conscience give them a 10 because only one extra weapon option is really lame
>hunters (+ sabretusks)
7/10, they're pretty cool, not much to say. The frost sabre redesign was well done. Maybe I'm too harsh on them because leadbelchers are so iconic and this feels less interesting
>maulbeasts
6/10, wasn't a fan at first but they've grown on me somewhat. Would probably still wanna greenstuff some fur on the fuckers though
>butcher
5/10, don't like him much but I hated the old model so I guess technically it's an improvement? But yeah not a big fan
>cleavers
Basically mini butchers so also not really my jam, 6/10. Do like the gutplate designs here though.
>gutseekers
Seem like more interesting cleavers to me, 7/10.
>Redd
8/10, easily the best character. Love this fatass and his pot, though I really wish he dumped the sidekicks because his base is much too large for no reason.
>grell
5/10, the design itself is fine, but nothing about her screams character? She barely even looks like a generic hero, more like a leadbelcher unit champion at best. At least she seems to imply maneaters/leadbelchers coming back at some point.
>morga/tyrant on glutthorn
3/10, probably the biggest letdown. Was looking forward to a big hippo but it's all around kind of meh. Has the same problem grell has, she doesn't really look like a tyrant at all, let alone THE overtyrant. Just looks like a normal glutton climbed on a big fat rhino.
Overall a solid 7/10 refresh imo; basic troops were done very well but named characters were meh. /blog

>>98401676
Oh, I forgot about the tyrant. Solid 7.5, I really appreciate the options, especially compared to his predecessor who was extremely monopose. Unfortunately he's pretty bland (as has been a running theme). At least give hem a unique weapon like an axe or something, and a gutplate that stands out more. Add some horns like on the old one, idk. Also would've preferred him to be a bit bulkier. He is a tyrant after all.

>>
>>98401585
7/10

i like some things, dislike others.

redd is boring. morga doesnt look special enough for a named character (her mount isnt much fancier, no big fancy weapon or head dress, indistinguishable from the generic rider at a glance), gluttons look good, no notes there. ironguts are very dissapointingly monopose i really would have loved to see more customization on the ironguts so you could build more than 3 of them with how good the new models look. dogs are a bit unusual but a big improvement over mournfangs, and the new unit of hunters on foot is great. maneaters and leadbelchers both dissapearing with no update is sad, you have a new named maneater/leadbelcher fusion with no unit to lead.

the loss of gnoblars is actually tragic. they were a funny little element of soul the army carried with it that you could totally take or leave if you wanted to but gave the army some character, especially all the little extra basing gnoblars in every kit trying to imitate their masters. the army lost some of its personality with that, i dont care what heywoah says about gnoblars, he's wrong.

the new butchers, and butcher units are cool, i like that they are exploring more of the ogres religion, and im glad the gorger mawpack stays. the loss of the mawpot is very weird and thematically sad, even if it was clunky on the table.

could have used more theming around the glittermaws, i would rather have seen globb himself and his realmstone teeth than his personality void of a daughter. the characters lack jangles and ornamentation iconic of previous ogre character models, and the new tyrants on foot arent big enough or decorated enough but otherwise are okay sculpts.

So the spearhead magazines are coming out in the US starting September. It will most likely be 15 bucks per issue. In total it will be 12 complete spearheads. Subscriptions arrive monthly so you get 4 a month, still 15 bucks PER issue though. Im curious on your thoughts on it. The whole thing seems not worth it, especially since issues contain paint or terrarin. And the starting issues are basically the starter box which is super cheap. Some issues are decent though like the eels, or rat ogres. The individual issues go on sale after a bit of them having come out, but I suspect these to get gobbled up near instantly. I do think it will drive ebay prices down a bit. I personally would like the dinos if I could get them. Anyone else have any thoughts?

>>
>>98403290
I looked at it and it seems to be true ya. The main catch is you also need to send them an email to cancel, theres no like auto cancel, near as I can tell anyway. And they say allow 28 days for it to take effect and blah blah blah. So I think its safe to assume if you sub your probabbly getting 2 months and just doing 1 is hard. Also alot of this is setup in a way thats annoying. Like take my lizardmen. If I wanted the kroxigors and carnosaur they split it in such a way that the carnosaur is split over 2 months. I will say month 1 is probabbly worth it since the first 2 issues are cheaper and they say 1 issue free.

Was thinking about putting together a casual Stormcast army out starter sets, bundles ect that I've built up over the years.... why is this army so fucking scuffed. The army somehow has the most warscrolls but feels like it has no options, everything is incredibly samey so all that matters is minor differences in efficiency. The points are weird - why is Bastion only 190 points? Why are Liberators weaker than regular human foot knights? Not to mention half the models are of questionable life expectancy. Are extremis and vanguard surving next editon? Fuck knows. What are they thinking

It's not even that, Liberators and like 90% of SC infantry have always been ass. They get the stats of human units while being the size of ogres. There's a reason most SC strats historically revolve around either shooting, some kind of monstrous cavalry unit or in rare cases squads of super-elite infantry, ie the few infantry units that are capable of killing anything.

8/10, most things are great, there might be a way to kitbash old glutton bodies to fit with new range (you just need new heads), named characters are bland but not offensive (Reddit looks a bit stupid but comes with 2/3 of a gutseer unit) and there are some clear directions for future expansions.

Rules also seem better, you don't lose the game in the charge phase. Rampages are boring but they are mostly on units marked for death so don't buy them either way.

I might buy them, just have to finish my pile

I've been wanting to get into warhammer for half a year now but I've been extremely busy preventing me from biting the bullet. Starting from next month though all that shit should be done with and I'll have a lot more free time to slop out. Between soulblight (mostly interested in skellies), gloomspite and seraphon which would you guys say are the best starter army, assuming I like the aesthetics of each army about the same? (I also have a unit of stormcast I got gifted I'll try the basics of painting on, but I'm not really interested in starting a whole army of them just based on looks and lore.)

Look at the spearheads and see which one has models you think are cool. Heck go to the GW store and just look at the range of models for each of those 3 factions. Souldblights looks the best to me IMOTBHFAM and all that but its a TON of skellie boys. As for gameplay and meta its always weird and if thats your concern go watch some battle reports to get an idea of how each army fights.

No, god no, it was fucking shite. His mom being the ultimate dragon tamer all along devalued everything Hiccup accomplished by learning to befriend dragons in the first film. His relationship with his mother isn't a bond where both have flaws and learn to work past them like with his dad in 1, instead his mom is just perfect and Hiccup needs to learn to be a better man like her. It's completely fucking toxic.
>>
>>98404320
I've been lurking for a long enough time that I have a general idea of which models of pretty much every faction I like or don't like, but I have no idea how each army actually "feels" to collect/play/paint. For example I really like the soulblight skellies, but I hear they're very into recursion and stuff like that, and I don't know if I'd enjoy that too much since usually that's not really my jam in strategy games. But again, this would be my first tabletop game so I have no idea how all that stuff translates.
>>
>>98404356
Who would you be playing with? You can talk to them about it and see what your LGS does. Or if this is a buy a spearhead with a friend thing maybe talk to them about it as well? And if it is your first ya check the 3 spearheads for which appeals to you the most. They are like 120 bucks and would get your feet wet. Worst case you dont care for the army but leave knowing how to paint better, and what you do like.

Surely, 4th is very comp centric so I'd expect whatever 40k does to carry over. GW would rather you just buy Spearhead I guess.
4th gutted PtG for alternative depth in AoA and the paths, but those were withheld for battletomes so no one I know plays it anymore. PtG is boring in a baseline now because of the drought of enhancements to work towards and the slim pickings of battleplans and such.
The territories of 3rd were an interesting metagame but 4th would prefer not to be too dissimilar to the main game I guess.
They reduce page count ever edition for battletomes so I expect 5th, which will probably be softback gamer edition only, to remove all narrative content. Whether the core book has any seems dubious now

>>

>>98404389
I would agree with anonse advice. Buy any of the spearheads. Choose which one is the cheapest or you can get the quickest, let fate guide your hand. But moonclan gsg and skellies SBGL will be always about hordes and recursion so that might push you towards other options. You can also want for Dino battletome or leaks and see if their new stuff will sway you one way or the other

Everyone gets a book every edition nowodays, so they will get another update in 5th.
GW usually does some new bundle box with new releases, but the version with book included is only for things with multiple new kits, like ogors or skeletons this edition.

Late battletomes do kinds suck, because the rules will be updated soon though, but at least they're on top of the world in terms of power creep before it resets

lizards are unlikely to get a bundle box with the tome this time because it doesn't look like they're getting much beyond the book and a character model

they might see a new spearhead box released around the same time though, who knows
>>
>>98405422
What they've done lately is battletome + new spearhead + battleforce + small regiment of renown box
4th was an index edition so every faction got a pdf a couple pages long at the start of the edition to serve as basically a placeholder battletome until the actual one comes out. The early ones were basically copy paste jobs though but lately (since the start of 2026 roughly) they've all changed things up in a pretty major way, usually for the best (except maybe obr which was more of a sidegrade).
I expect 5th to be the kind of edition where the battletomes of 4th are still compatible, especially the later ones
>>
>>98405449
When 4th started we got indexes for everythign quick-updating all 3e armies even if they didn't recieve books imediatly.
Which is good, because the 2->3 update actually broke some factions like Ossiarchs and they wouldn't get sheduled udates unitil year+ in forcing GW to make patch notes through White Dwarf

I dislike list building by Regiments.
>>
opinion

the boats should all drop like 30% in points. do whatever you have to to the profiles to make it work.

im tired of taking the minimum amount of my boats, just 1 of each, and already being at 1000pts. the points on this army are just too high, you dont get to actually field hardly any dudes, it looks like im fielding a spearhead while my opponent drops a whole army. this is less about game performance or rules or whatever and more just about the actual look of the army on the table. the shit is so prohibitively expensive that you never get that feel of a proper fleet of ships with galleys full of crew. you just get a very minor escort of a few ships and a skeleton crew of like 20 or 30 dudes tops.

i know a lot of people like this game for requiring less models than 40k, but i feel like this army has gone too far in the other direction
>>
>>98409774
i would like it better if the regiments actually did anything.

for example, imagine if regiments each had a type. a shieldwall regiment gives everything in it +1 save if they dont move. an ambush regiment gives everything in it board edge outflank, a wizards council regiment gives everyone in it +1 to cast, etc

or

if heroes gave their entire regiments some kind of buff. like while this hero is alive, every unit in their regiment gets +2 to move, or +1 to hit, or whatever.

just give us a reason to want to take them, not just as a system of restrictions. they've done it a few times, like gutrot spumes slime fleet, but its very rare that they've actually done anything interesting or fun with the regiment system
>>
>>98409821
I like this idea, now how do we implement it for 5th?
>>
>>98409821
It's weird because 3E somehow had a crunchier regiment system than 4E even though it wasn't such a dominant part of list building.
>>
>>98409836
so part of 4th edition was that the age of sigmar design team got pared down to like 3 or 4 people, i really think a lot of 4th editions decisions; lots of copy and paste low effort rules, army building categories with no interactions, simplified weapon profiles down to just "unit name weapons" etc are all due to the fact that its 3 guys in a broom closet with a typewriter and they needed the game to be so low effort that a crew that small and understaffed could handle it.

i dont know this for a fact, but thats my guess.
>>
>>98409808
They should be unit based, yeah. Maybe 50-60pt Gunhaulers (which can be reinforced as a Gunhauler fleet) and 200~ for frigates then 450 for the biggest
KO just feel weird with them being so expensive and shoehorned into this transit objective metagame like it's 40k. Just let them be artillery and monsters with only the biggest having that
>>
>>98409808
You can either squash their points and status just to play a paper plane or pay your tax and have a flying gunship that shits on swapm orks with sticks. Gunships are cool because they are that much more advanced.
>>
>>98409821
>>98409774
I don't mind regiment but I agree with anon that they should do something. Right now they are just abstract group of units. If you have a hero that buffs a unit and a unit that works great with that buff you get nothing by putting them in the same regiment. I think they would fix foot heroes and regiment if more buffs were only applied to units in that regiment or there was an additional buff being granted by a hero leading a regiment to subservient units
>>
>>98410003
Or battle formation should be applied to a regiment and you can only pick one battle formation once
>>
>>98409946
>50-60pt gunhaulers
Alright anon they can go down in points but let's not make them the cheapest unit in the game.
>>
>>98410029
Why not? It doesn't matter given regiments? May as well just make them a unit of 2-3
>>
>>98410053

>>
>>98409808
KO in general feels like an army that GW just does not know what they want to do with. Their balance swings wildly and they play unlike any other Army in the game with a bunch of unique rules and they don't even do it well. My Hope was that they would just make transport rules generic core rules with the introduction of the cog fort but that might need to wait another Edition to set us free.
>>
>>98410112
Look KO having a relatively small army because they're built around transports may feel bad, but trust me having your 65$ gunship be cheaper and shittier than a single grot with a big stick is going to feel worse.
Just ask 40k mechanicum guys
>>
>>98410135
>Just ask 40k mechanicum guys
nta but idgi
>>
>>98410112
I somewhat get it but boats are cool becsuse they are that much stronger and better than anything else. They are a poster unit of quality over quantity. If you want to play more more ships play higher point games. If you want to field as many ships as grots field their stabbas then either make them a chaff unit with chaff stats.

Do you want to have an even smaller gunship, like a flying raft or Vespa, that could be a chaff unit?
>>
>>98409946
50-60 would be too low, like just on a base size model size they are on almost stonehorn bases, so having them that cheap would just result in 20 gunhaulers clogging the board. 100-120 is probably the most reasonable bottom for them.

but im more on about the frigate and especially the ironclad. the ironclad taking a 450-500pt bite out of your army depending on the balance patch is just very hard to actually build an army around, especially when throwing a 300pt frigate and a 150pt-180pt gunhauler in the same list. the big boats are the worst offenders. you spend so many points on the taxi's that you can hardly afford any passengers to ride in them, which is a shame because kharadron have some really fun infantry models

if i had my way, gunhaulers around 120 (because 100 even led to a really nasty 10 gunhauler list in the past that was just annoying), frigates at like low-ish 200s, 220-240, carnosaur level pts, and then ironclads around 350. and again, do whatever you have to to the stat profiles to make that work.

thunderers also need to either be cheaper (not my preference) or get better damage or more than once per turn army on their ability (i would prefer this) a LOT of kharadron players are sitting on 20+ of the fuckers because they were the staple unit of the army forever (same situation as the cursed new blightkings warscroll), they should be fieldable en masse since thats how people bought and played them for the first 3 editions of the game

He's referring to Admech being far and away the most expensive army to collect in 40k because they changed them from elite to a horde army between editions and just kept cutting point costs on everything until you needed to field 150 models to still struggle to win games. The problem was that AdMech was boxed and sold as an elite army with one vehicle per box (which got changed to a unit of 3) and 3-5 elites per box (who now needed to be fielded in 6-10 units). They actually did this to multiple armies though. Leagues of Votann is another example and probably more relevant as a tech dwarf-adjacent comparison (They are the third most expensive army to collect in 40k now).
>>
>>98410187
>they changed them from elite to a horde
omg ewwwww
>>
>>98410166
Ok, that's more reasonable. I guess you could get gunhaulers to be 120 with minimal nerfs, if any. And I could see frigate getting more situational, maybe less shooty and more focused on transporting.
But ironclad has to be massive in points and stats.
>>
So if mancrushers are the AoS equivalent to the armiger mini-knights, and megas obviously being the regular knights equivalent, what would the "titans" of AoS be if they ever made a miniature like that? Doesn't have to be strictly giants or anything, just wondering what kind of unit theoretically could be made at that scale.
>>

>He's referring to Admech being far and away the most expensive army to collect in 40k because they changed them from elite to a horde army between editions
To be more fair than GW deserves at this point, the fluff always described Skitarii as disposable hordes outfitted with the lowest of the low end bionics and self-destructive weaponry, except for the absolute top of the line murder cyborgs like Ruststalkers. Current edition Admech reflects that theming way better than before. Not making excuses for the complete scumbag packaging they're doing for Admech, though.
>They actually did this to multiple armies though. Leagues of Votann is another example and probably more relevant as a tech dwarf-adjacent comparison (They are the third most expensive army to collect in 40k now).
Yeah there's no excuses there, they're even fluffed as being elite but relatively few compared to human forces.
>>
>>98411179
The more I learn, the more I'm convinced that the 40k team is genuinely incapable of designing a game without some sort of force organization rules restraining them. Make it like the old one where each unit was put into a speficic class and you could only have so many of each, make it AoS 3e where you had to have so many battlelines, but different things could be done to make more things battleline, hell even the current system AoS 4e has would be better, and that thing's like, half of a really good idea right now.

>Slaanesh rejoices in every sin, but six are favoured: Avidity, Gluttony, Carnality, Paramountcy, Vainglory and Indolency. Their metaphysical echoes form the substance of his domain in the Realm of Chaos, manifesting as concentric, temptation-leaden 'rings' surrounding the Palace of Pleasure. The Cognisicatrix, a realm-spanning order of pain-mystics who have glimpsed many truths in the throes of torture, name them the Sacred Seductions – for no soul, no matter how virtuous, is entirely immune to some permutation of these moral corruptions. It is for this reason that the number six holds resonance in Slaaneshi esotericism.
These Cognisicatrix chaps are new, I think. Almost definitely never gonna be relevant past this namedrop, but there they are.

The RoR got backstory

>The relic widely considered to be the fourth of Vennatan's mirrors came to Hallowheart, purchased by a member of the Whitefire Court. All the myths of the Mirrors of Absorption speak of consuming magic, but this particular item showed a real gusto for perverting the arcane, as if it delighted in torturing aetheric manifestations and remaking them in a dark power's image.

>It was after the Necroquake that the Accursed Reflection, as the relic had been dubbed by apprentice mages, vanished. The aelven curator of the institution wherein the mirror was housed was seized, and in repeated interrogations, they maintained that a pair of sisters from the Whitefire Court confiscated the item from the collection. No records of such individuals have ever been found, while the curator was discovered to have ties to certain Agloraxi Restorationist groups that made smuggling likely. Still, their story remained consistent, down to an insistence that the sisters were adamant he invite them into the museum, as if they could not do so without that ritual permittance. Where the Accursed Reflection is now remains a mystery, one complicated by accounts of a similar mirror appearing unbidden amongst the armies of the Dark Gods, attended by two infernal handmaidens and disappearing as swiftly as it arrived.

They're not a faction and shouldn't be treated like one, they're not even remotely close to imperial knights because they lack the modularity in building and posing that they enjoy.
They are a giant kit with enough build options to have it vaguely fit in chaos, order or death, on top of destruction.
The independent battletome is a retard tax and the idea of running a whole army of them should be considered a niche extreme, not their normal thing.

That said, since we're stuck with the direction gw is going then they need an additional mancrusher kit to add the necessary variety in poses and trinkets, if not keep the current one still; and they should split the megagargant box into two offers: one box that builds the 5 builds they currently have, and one box that can only build the original 3 but replaces the extra brodd sprues with an additional set of legs, and optional heads, weapons and trinkets for the 3 build options

It's a decent starting point better than the army box funnily enough though if you run the wolves you'll probably want fat wolf gobbo.

Also I'll warn you that gitz are uh, not in a terribly good spot army wise nor have they ever particularly been. Also you can't particularly mix them in with other greenskins so if you like orks you won't be seeing any of those in your GSG army other than like as a Regiment of Renown (specific unit you can run in the army but only using a specific list of dudes)

Granted, it's actually a pretty good spearhead, but still. I feel like most people who like gits are going to like the 90% of the army that's moon goblins, not the 10% furry sun goblins.
Here's hoping they get a new box in the end of edition campaign I guess

It's a commemorative model, it doesn't matter as much
They let their painters off the leash darkwater too. Compare the paintjobs on e.g. the blight templars to the ones on the original blight kings, or the fly rider blightlords. Night and day.
I think of it's not a "normal" release they get a bit more leeway and aren't required to stick to the eavy metal heavy painting style as much.
>>
All these new CoS models make me want to start them as an army. How hord-ey are they? Which models do I need to buy multiples of?
>>
>>98413624
GOOD NEWS, Cities has a wide variety of options so you can play as hordey or elite as you want. You've got like multiple named characters to help paly into specific archetypes and more than enough options:

You frontline are fusileers or steelhelms, 1 or 2 blocks of which will do big work and not die instantly.

More elite you got foot knights or cav to survive hits and dish out some damage (either depending on if they charged or didn't) command corps squads of mix and match buff heroes

You got your more niche stuff, hunters for deep striking and grenadiers as an unreinforcable ranged/melee damage dealer. Probably only need 1 unit of hunters, but 2 units of grenadiers wouldn't be a bad idea.

More niche you got your bigger stuff, gate gargs which output big damage, protect your units ,and boost while being a solid scary block, you got your artilery which is a good way to just pick away at shit from a distance, you got your cogfort as a big elite thing that does a bit of both while also transporting units for a big buffed charge.

THEN you got all your heroes, generic foot dudes, ogor with gun to boost your gunlines, you got like 3 varities of foot wizard a foot priest, you got big named priest for boosting dudes bigtime, you got big melee flying monster to both boost your troops and tear shit up on the front line, you got your named wizard guy to teleport guys around the board and shotgun blast someone if he's there with them, and like untold amounts of other random bullshit which boosts units they're next to.

You can build 10 million little shitters and some foot heroes, you can build mixed force, you can build elite, it all generally works pretty well and the new book is fantastic rules wise for them.
>>
>>98413670
Why ARE grenadiers unreinforceable anyway? Is it because they were supposed to be a warcry unit?
>>
>>98413735
>Is it because they were supposed to be a warcry unit?

Probably yeah.

Since I don't think GW particularly cares about a monopose thing being reinforcable and usually doesn't have restrictions like this for any other particular reason.
>>
>>98413735
>>98413742
They're not for Warcry, GW has shifted to a more simplified system. TOW has unit sizes, AoS has preset unit sizes
Underworlds warbands will be more common going forward too.
>>
>>98413774
I don't believe that at all
>>
>>98412457
Is this the first time AOS has gotten one of these gacha Heroes sets? Because it completely mogs any of the Space Marine ones bar maybe the Death Guard by virtue of all being interesting and unique sculpts rather. I hope we see more of this in the future. Maybe Death gets the next one
>>
>>98413735

Issue is that with saurus guard and skinks on the cusp of a refresh, regular warriors are really the only normal infantry unit they can put in a spearhead, and they already did that twice. Then again, they put fucking gnoblars in the second ogre spearhead so who knows.
Assuming gw is being reasonable here (lol) I guess we'll be getting a weird one. Out of their newer sculpts they haven't used either of the new cavalry kits, so I'm guessing one of those will make it in.

>What do you think their potential new spearhead will be?
I expect a cavalry theam. i don't think any of the new riders were in a box.
Would 10 skinks (2x5) + 3 Saurus + Saurus hero be too good of a deal?

excellent, looks like there's exactly enough leftover from sprues I should be able to just slap some mournfangs down, leave the old legs on and place the new torsos of leftover shit there!

Maybe see if I can source any leftover sprues from other folks or if my friend raids the sprue recycle bins post launch....

You can squeeze in a foot hero like the astrolith bearer and still be under €200 which seems to be their limit (actually like €202 but whatever) which comes out to slightly above 40% of a discount.
However if you add the more thematic scarvet on aggradon then yeah it's too good of a deal.
He's overpriced though, he's almost the same price as the normal aggradons (50 vs 51.50). His mount is slightly bigger I guess but not nearly enough to justify this price. Character tax I guess, better off just kitbashing your own. Doesn't look that different from a normal champion to begin with.

Dont forget raptadons can be built into 2 different units so they can make it look even more worth it on the box. I think whats more likely if they went that route is they pull a unit of raptadons and throw in a Scar-Veteran on Aggradon.

For the spearhead purposes it will be two different units of 5
