>>98419118I built it so I can fold it up and store it away. It’s also heavy-duty to withstand transport.
>>98419255how will it close??
>>98419267I will cut it later. Im figuring out the lay out before.
Got a lot done today
All the tiles took for fuckin ever to cut and glue. But I think it turned out super good, its got me really pumped to keep working on my Osgiliath terrain
>>98419267>>98419293sorry anon i skimmed trough my archives but could not find the WIP picture yet, i made that very same table over 20 years ago only it folded the other way aroundgood luck and you better have top notch roof racks on youre car because i didnt
>>98419356I have a truck.
>>98419345dope stones my guy
I hate when I post pictures and they don't end in OP.
>>98419427samewas real proud of how good a job i did and it didnt end up on the fridge
>>98419388i found somethingfoldable one weighed around 30kg because it had the wooden legs fold into it and that other one at the back was just 3 fiberboard sheets based and painted good times
>>98419459I am a bad painter, the dopamine hit I have when I see my stuff on the collage is amazing.
worked on his skin today
Finally working on some mutilators as a bodyguard unit for kravek, half tempted to go all in and buy 2 more boxes for the meme of running 9 muties and 6 oblits in a list.
>>98419427>>98419459All model/wip pictures posted end up on the collage unless you post it at the very end of the thread, stop trying to stir shit up
>>98419517Every time I post a modelpic there isn't a collage next thread
>>98419467same, I go from zero to full mast
>>98419517
>>98419547it gets funnier the longer I look at it
>>98419528op likes to keep you at your toes or fingertips and you never know when he strikes
>>98419132I feel so included! Thanks, Baker-San!
>>98419293Then why did you divide the board lengthwise?
>>98419547Classic. Reminds me of a friend way back when that got into 40k with me, he didn't realize you're supposed to cut the grips off of the bolters, so he just kinda glued them whole to the backs of the their hands. I wish I had my first little guy all painted different colors with a mishmash of scale model paints, but alas it is lost to time and probably a buried in a back yard in Florida.
>>98419693i have played a dude who literally attempted to stuff his terminators inside his land raider because that is what the rule saidsure there have been many colourful characters along the way like everyone but nobody like that person
>>984196852x 2x6 styrofoam board
>>98419817But you can get it in 4x8 sheets for cheap at the hardware store.
Finished another 12 dwarfs. Well some of them are missing arms or drums, but those are currently moxed with the bext batch and shouldn't take long. I started doing batches of 12 and i find it really works for me. It's large enough to feel like I've done some serious progress once I've completed one, and at the same time, i never find it too overwhelming. Coming up next i have my second-last batch of skull pass dwarfs.
>>98420281CRAFTSPERG
had to buy a new handleloved my old gw one so just grabbed the one at my localholy shit james, how did you make the perfect painting handle, stop producing that one, and then make the cheapest most useless piece of shit
>>98418223if you cant print theres some fully topless eightbound models though i dont personally actually know how design agnostic the little mods on their body are
>>98420281Excellent work, great colors
I've completed my entry a whole two days early! Good job, me.
>>98420689Now to immediately see the mistakes I made after uploading it online
Recent update for my Baneblade. Replaced the sandbags with selfmade ones, used the white milliput for that.
>>98420768Looks great, I'd put matt varnish or some dry pigment on the sandbags though, I feel those look too glossy right now
>>98420693that's part of why you do it isn't itthey look great tho
>>98420871Yeah, I thought about that too, might add it after I finished the whole tank and placing all of the crew and other stuff on top of it.
I have to pose my miniatures exactly as they are on the box otherwise I go crazy
>>98421203i hear these days most of them are monopose anyways so atleast you are happy about it
>>98421246stop listening to salty anons who haven't bought a kit made in the last decade
>>98421428I mean, he's not exactly wrong lol. I got back into the hobby like 3 years ago and a good chunk of 40k and AoS kits I've bought were monopose
>>98421428but i am an anon who has bought only 1 new kit in the past 10 years and that happened to be monopose toonot salty though i dont really care one way or the another
Looking for some advice from any anons who like layering here.I've been trying to level up my game for painting ork skin lately, but I'm having trouble staying consistent with my colors, especially when it comes to how dark the recesses are and how bright the flat surfaces at the top are. A lot of the time it comes out rather dark overall but sometimes it's brighter, and I know this is just because I'm mixing my colors together rather than using set tones for the darkest and brightest spots. However, I've noticed that the more time I spend trying to make the transitions from light to dark more pronounced, the darker the model becomes overall. What I'm asking for is any advice you guys would have on keeping my Ork skin bright green while having good transitions to the darker recesses.Pic related is my current WIP. As you can see the skin is rather dark on the 5 in front while the 2 in the back are closer to what I'm looking for, especially on the Ork's arm that holds his axe low to the ground. I'm not sure how I did that arm but I can't seem to recreate that overall bright color with its dark recesses.
