Fucking bane of my hobby existence is the lack of different gun/sword hands from GW. Old Chaos Marines had right guns, like midhammer era I wanna say? 4th-6th. Had some leftover myself. Theres a guy called "march of war" who makes AWESOME looking pistols (in both right AND lefty config, bolt/melty/flame/volk/grav and even some that look like dirty harry revolvers) as well as a ton of other awesome as FUCK bits, but his shipping costs are fucking ridiculous. Hes from the UK and it add like another $50 to an order just to get his shit. If it wasnt so expensive id outfit my entire legion with his shit. He even does shoulder logos for each legion and a TON of random chapters as well as squad markings and stuff, but his prices....ugh.

genuine question:
couldn't stimms similar to what the goliath use, be used for inductii?

I know the inductii process varies by legion, but I don't really see the need to have basically most of the marine organs for inductii, you just need a soldier who can roughly fit what a marine is and you need them quickly, and goliath stimms seem like a good candidate to do that

and my followup question which I am being sincere and not baiting, couldnt you do the same process on women?
>>
>>98431117
>couldnt you do the same process on women?
Only men shall receive the seed.
>>
>>98431164
thats my point
you don't really need geneseed for inductii right?
>>
>Lion El'jonson
>Ferrus Manus
>Rogal Dorn
>Roboute Guilliman
>Lupercal Horus
>Perturabo
Between these 6, who is the best strategist. The lore isn't very clear on is the best. At first I thought it was the Lion because he conquered the most planets and apparently had the most dangerous legion. But then I saw all the wanking Dorn got when he basically held back the traitor legions solo for years.
Then I saw in some other books that Manus was apparently this god tier strategist, and the traitors and loyalists on both sides bemoan that he's not alive and fighting for them because he would make it so much easier for them to win the war.
Then you have Horus who orchestrated the Horus Hersey, was the warmaster before that, and apparently played one of the biggest roles during the great crusade.
Then you have Guilliman oman who is apparently god tier at logistics and planning to the point where he could win versus the word bearers even after they slaughtered half of his army in a surprise attack.
Then you have Perturabo who was apparently the tactical mastermind behind the horus hersey and the siege of terra that crippled the Emperor. You also have the Iron Cage where he BTFO Dorn, which is HUGE considering that Dorn's tactical feats during the Horus Hersey.

tl;dr: who is the best tactician. the books are inconsistent as fuck on who the best is
>>
>>98431117
first question: you get broken helix blackshields

second question: if they're deliberately keyed to require Y chromosomes as a safeguard against self-replication (breeding), which seems very likely, then no, you can't

organ rejection is a huge deal and these surgeries are not minor; they already have a fairly high rejection rate which leads inevitably to the death or disabling of aspirants

with modern transplants we generally use drugs that suppress the immune response to prevent rejection, but obviously that's not an option for space marines because they're going to have to go outside and orks don't wear masks, so there's either some rewriting of the aspirant's own DNA to prevent rejection, or they have to have specific combinations of genes similar enough to those used in the creation of the organs themselves to prevent rejection

since only the Selenites and the Emperor and a few obsessive and generally secretive individuals seem to really fully understand how geneseed works, rewriting the organ DNA to fit broader recipients is not an option
>>
>>98431215
Nome of them, primarchs are retarded and the myths of their battlefield genius are just that, myths. They treat basic concepts like "combined arms warfare" and "flanking maneuvers" as some advanced tactical a legion can specialize in. Even GW started playing into it, in the scouring book Perturabo calls all the primarchs purposefully flawed like greek tragedies.
>>
>>98431215
None of them are good strategists because BL doesn't understand and can't write good strategy. They can yammer about how clever and super tactical and strategic characters are but can't back it up.

Stuck trying to decide what legion I want to go with at the moment between IH, DG and TS and their respective SA allies. I like them all aesthetically and fluff wise, and from some of the rules I've glanced I like the things that set them apart. I do have some specific units I'd like to include, so should I choose based on which faction synergises with those units best?

Yeah, but they can include them still if they want. Make them have some bullshit. Another femdom-esque faction by GW (daughters of khaine) has a bunch of lore about how Morathi deliberately afflicted men with a curse to drain their strength, but some will be born with magical capabilities and then get used as suicide troops. Best strategist =/= best tactician. There's overlap but those are different categories, roughly separated by timeframe, scale, how abstract the goals are and how concrete the methods are.

In space magic primach land
>Lion, 2nd best strat, 2nd best tactical, mid leader, so autistic he got conned by pert pinky swearing
>Ferrus, upper mid strat and tac but unable to keep his head screwed on and has limmited perspective. Both sides wanted him because he was strong and doesn't afraid of anything.
>Dorn, 1st defensive strat and tac, worse at the other stuff
>Rob, 1st strat, mid tactical, autistic enough to learn how to fake it
>horus, high tactical, upper mid strat, however, best Leader which is more important if the mode of warfare is basically the iliad and he has to convince all the divas to get their shit together
>Pert, 1st siege strat and tac, mid to worst depending on how much of a meltdown they were having that day

It would be a tie between Horus, Roboute, and Lion. Each for different reasons

Of the three Lion would be the better of the battlefield stratagy as it was from the dangles that most other legions were derived and then perfected from. Lion has the benifit of being a jack of all trades making him highly flexable.

In terms of tactician, roboute would win out because he artistically plans every actions and possible reaction like 10 steps ahead.

Horus though would probably win out between the three because he has the best of both, jack of all trades is better then a master of one.
>>
>>98431215
The best strategist? Horus or Rowboat. The best tactician? Probably the lion or Horus.

Strategy, the macro scale of warfare, requires vision. Its why Horus was made the warmaster. The lion is "on paper" really really good at things, but hes rigid, inflexible, close minded. Give him a problem and hell solve it, but he wouldnt be able to "see WHAT the problem is" the best.

Wrong, it's the opposite. The Black Books is fanfiction of the BL series.
That's why they have so many mistakes, like Fulgrim being a Librarius supporter, a Custodes force at Signus Prime, or MkIV being hoarded for the traitors (which is nonsense)
>>
>>98437359
>MkIV being hoarded for the traitors (which is nonsense)
That piece of fluff dates back to RT and been printed in several sources outside of the Black Books, before and after them. So suck it.
>>
>>98437401
Prove it.
Also, the Black Books themselves and the FW models released for them contradict it, because loyalists had plenty of MKIV (like BA and UM), and it's canon that Legions had their own private deals with Mechanicum forge worlds.
We didn't need Horus to provide them with MkIV.
>>
>>98437416
Did you...did you think Horus was personally going around handing out MKIV suits or something? Well, at least now we understand why you prefer shitty pulp novels written for children over an actual account of futurewar written by fans of military history - you're such a fucktarded dimwitted gormgroid you don't understand the concept of logistics.

>Prove it.
Proven.
>loyalists had plenty of MKIV
Nowhere does it say loyalists didn't have any MkIV. Even in WS129 it says "many of the Space Marine armies were entirely or partially re-equipped." So while traitors might have gotten preferential treatment, loyalists got plenty of suits as well to be at least partially re-equipped with the new suits before the Heresy started.
>Legions had their own private deals with Mechanicum forge worlds.
And those forge worlds had bigger deals with the Imperium. So, if the Emperor demands them to provide X number of suits to specific legions, that's production capacity away from providing them to any legions they might have private deals with.
>>
>>98437451
So you're a retard without reading comprehension, got it
>an actual account of futurewar written by fans of military history
the best part of them was written by a BL author, John French, and the rest was just as mid or worse than BL books. You don't know what you're talking about.
>>
>>98437455
You haven't proved shit, except my point.
The old RT text says nothing about Horus making sure that the traitors had more MkIV.
And the BB text is plain wrong and contradicted by the rest of the series. It can only be dismissed as a mistaken theory by the Scouring era historian that wrote it. There was no time between Horus becoming Warmaster and the war for his influence to have that impact on legion logistics.
The whole thing is (another) example of the Blacked Books being wrong just like BL stories. But you Blight worshippers cannot look at them objectively because you're too emotionally (and maybe financially) investested on them.

That kind of shit happens in BL slop too, wtf are you arguing about if you haven't even read the stuff you are defending.
>“As I said, the issue of supplying the Legions has always been problematic, but recently I have identified a pattern within the structure that appears too often to be a coincidence.”
>“A pattern? What pattern?”
>Kane hesitated, reading a spike of interest register in the Fabricator General’s binaric
field. “Where we might reasonably expect those Legions operating closest to Mars to have
the fewest supply problems, that’s not what I’m seeing.”
>“Then what are you seeing?”
>“That the Legions without supply problems are those acting in direct support of the
Warmaster.”
Mechanicum
>‘I’ve never seen so many Mark IV suits,’ said Ravachol. ‘It must be an awe inspiring sight to see these worn by the Legiones Astartes.’
>‘I imagine so,’ nodded Malevolus. ‘Of course, we are only about halfway through the general issue of the Mark IV. And as you might imagine, there have been difficulties in getting some of the more… traditionally minded Legions to abandon the old “Iron Suits”.’[..]
>Ravachol gasped in awe as he saw the most wondrously exquisite suit of Tactical Dreadnought Armour he had ever seen. [...]
>He looked up towards where the wearer’s head would be and shivered, suddenly afraid of this terrifyingly brutal suit of armour. ‘It is the zenith of my career,’ said Malevolus proudly. ‘I shall never craft anything so perfect as this again.’
>‘It’s… singular,’ said Ravachol, backing away from the armour, which now held nothing but dread for him. Something in its hulking form spoke to him of the oceans of blood that would be spilled by whoever wore this armour and he knew that it had been designed to intimidate as much as protect.
>‘Who was it built for?’
>Malevolus smiled. ‘It is for the Warmaster.’

Yes, BL has also plenty of mistakes.
But again, neither of your 2 excepts say that MkIV was hoarded for the traitors.
That's you projecting the Black Books text over them, but they don't actually say it. In fact the second one talks about some legions being stubborn and still wanting to use the old suits, which is the opposite.

You're just bad at reading comprehension.
>>
>>98437592
Btw, even if Mark IV was halfway through being issued to the legions, it was decades old by the time of the HH.
For example, the WB already had it at Monarchia, 40 years before the war and becoming the first traitors.
>>
>>98437592
>Yes, BL has also plenty of mistakes.
Or "if it agrees with what I think it's correct otherwise it's an error but I'm still right btw".

The second excerpt is a traitor speaking to his loyalist disciple moments before he kills him through the machine. The entire shipment of mkiv and Horus' armour is meant for the SoH. The first excerpt outright spells it out that the traitors are getting the lion's share of the supplies before Horus turns traitor.

>the WB already had it at Monarchia

Speaking of shotguns: why the fuck are recon marines with shotguns more points than veteran tacticals with shotguns? And by quite a substantial amount too. Not sure if having infiltrate, move through cover, and skirmish are so much more valuable than having double the wounds and attacks, as well as BS 5. Is it just paying for their sins in the previous edition?

Marines shouldn't even be carrying shotguns.

IRL shotguns make sense because their bigger shells vs rifle rounds, but it's stupid when bolgun rounds are big enough to have different payloads like they actually do.

To add to this/explain it:: Units in the more prestige/niche slots tend to be more cost effective at their jobs than normal units. Point for point command squad will beat out normal terminators by quite a lot. Basically every unit beats tacticals point for point. The balance there is that those units are simply harder to get, and that they carry a lot of opportunity cost with them when getting them compared to their alternatives,

The ranged weapons except maybe the autocannon are oversized, the chainsword especially is. Armigers are also not insignificantly large compared to most dreadnoughts. But the flat fitting wouldn't be hard to convert since you could skip a piece that connects the Contemptor weapons.

I think we have found the issue. Youre an illiterate moron. Nowhere (in the black books or otherwise) does it say MK4 was ONLY for traitors, thats not what "traitors stockpiled mk4" means.

MK4 was MAJORITY for traitors, horus skewed distribution so that the legions he figured he could get in the heresy were favored in receiving it and the legions he thought would oppose him for certain would have less of it. Its about HOW MUCH of the armor every legion had, not "only the traitors had mk4"

"skewed" doesn't mean "Horus did it" like you pretend. Your own quote talks about some legions being stubborn and refusing to upgrade.
>>98439857
>>98439921
Nah the issue is that I was using "restricted" as a shorthand for Horus doing it once he turned, but you're disingenous dipshits grasping at straws and trying to muddle the issue.
>MK4 was MAJORITY for traitors
false and disproven by later Black Books where loyalista are shown using lots of MkIV.
The EC weren't turned until just before Isstvan 3, and the NL/WE were pariah legions with their own forge worlds deals.
This matches the older lore about being unfortunate, and not the BB explanation about being deliberate.
>horus skewed distribution
At best Horus was able to try to do it for the SoH and DG for a year between Davin and Isstvan.
Which was pretty much irrelevant since MkIV had been in service by half a century at that point.

It's just nonsense that should be ignored, like EC librarians or Custodes at Signus Prime. But you are just retarded BB fanboys that can't look at the source material with objectivity.
>>
>>98440004
>most UM and BA we see are in mk4, so that's representative,
Nope, thats not what "representative" means.

If 100/100 of the americans you see are ginger, it does not mean that americans are all ginger or even majority ginger. You have not seen a representative sample of americans.

>"skewed" doesn't mean "Horus did it"
Youre right, it was just luck, serendipity smiled upon the traitors and of the legions that got major MKIV refurbishment the majority skewed traitors for no real reason.
>>
>>98439620

They look somewhat similar in the profile drawing but imo the actual models look as different as they are to the Lucius Pattern. Plus GW bringing back old designs as something different in fluff is like a HH thing at this point like the saturnine terminators, the landspeeders, land raiders and probably other stuff I can't remember rn. That's why I mentioned nostalgia as a factor because GW has done it before for that reason
>>
>>98440004
>false and disproven by later Black Books where loyalista are shown using lots of MkIV.
>women are shorter than men on average? False! I know plenty of women tallen than men!

>and the NL/WE were pariah legions with their own forge worlds deals.
That horus could rely on to turn with him once he turned. Yea, the WE had Sarum and the NL probably had their own logistics to some extent, thats irrelevant. Horus knew that they were likely assets for his civil war and planned accordingly.

>This matches the older lore about being unfortunate
Except it was never "just unfortunate", it was always malfeasance "whoopsy! we gave most of our cutting new and cutting edge armor, the best were ever going to make, to the insane nutjobs and people who just turned on us! how unlucky!" was never the story
>>
>>98440029
That's what "representative" means when talking about a fictional universe where almost every time we see members of a legion, from line legionaries to their commanders, they're almost always depicted in a certain way.
Also you clearly have no idea about statistics.
> the legions that got major MKIV refurbishment the majority skewed traitors for no real reason
Exactly. Let's see the list of legions usually depicted with MkIV:
>EC
Weren't traitors until very shortly before Isstvan III, didn't get to resupply
>NL
Canonically pariahs until Isstvan V, had their own forge world
>BA
had their own forge world
>WE
Canonically pariahs until the HH, had their own forge world
>UM
had their own forge world
>TS
Canonically pariahs, had their own forge world
>SoH
>WB
Literally the only ones that can fit the BB text, yet their elites were using MKIV for decades before going traitor.
>>98440063
>Horus knew that they were likely assets for his civil war and planned accordingly.
When? How? Both NL and WE were AWOL before Isstvan, and didn't got new suits. In fact, WE is shown already using MkV given their high attrition rate. Afterwards, neither got to resupply from Mars before going on to their next campaigns.

It's nonsense that doesn't hold up to scrutiny, and you're just too stubborn to admit it.
>>
>>98440145
>Weren't traitors until very shortly before Isstvan III
Yea, basically none of the legions were traitors before the heresy started, thats what "the heresy" means. They were however a legion horus decided was possible to get into his corner.

>Canonically pariahs until Isstvan V
That nontheless somehow got all the shiny goodies. Almost like despite everything Horus knew what he would need them for or something.

>Canonically pariahs until the HH
See above.

>Canonically pariahs
See above.

>When?
Before the heresy? When the fuck do you think.

>Both NL and WE were AWOL before Isstvan
The NL thing with nostromo happened shortly before Isstvan, their trajectory was fucking obvioius since day one. Ditto for the WE, their fate was sealed since Angron was introduced to the legion and anyone with half a brain could see how that would end.
>>
>>98440145
>That's what "representative" means
lmao youre fucking retarded
>>
>>98440194
>That nontheless somehow got all the shiny goodies. Almost like despite everything Horus knew what he would need them for or something.
Canonically Horus had nothing to do with it, because it's impossible. He only had direct influence on Mars, but all those legions had their own private deals with close forgeworlds. In addition MKIV had been around for decades at that point, and their lack of adoption was related more to the preferences of each legion.
There was only 1 year between Davin and Isstvan. Horus simply had no time to make a difference until after the HH began.

The Black Book text is wrong. Just speculation from a post war historian that didn't know better, period.
>>

They are the "Battle Bling" pattern to me, simply because battle bling sells a modern version of them, (at least for the warhound anyway, not sure if theres a reaver as well). Yes, the warmaster, the 2nd highest ranking man in the imperium and on top of it all Horus (charismatic master strategist and general people person) was only influential on one specific forge world and had no effect whatsoever on any of the other ones (which also did not care at all about any outside influences or notions).

>It was a new mark that had not fully been rolled out yet, try again.

It's sad that the traitor legios book doesn't have heraldry breakdowns like the loyalist one but the banners are still readable if you understand the design language. For example in pic related

>Legio Vulpa

They have their symbol the saberfang on a red pile and their signum nobilis on the other part of the field representing the engine's maniple as sabrefang heads on spikes then below the engine name. Below left text presumably about the engine and legio. Right are kill markings of skulls on spikes.

>Legio Audax

Their symbol of a wolf awooing with engine name below. On the left side is text about the engine and Audax's pact with the world eaters with a bend below for the signum nobilis showing the maniple using warhound symbols (the titancus symbol with the teeth added you see on warhound transfer sheets). The right side of the field is bendets with kill markings

I'm lost in the sauce of titan heraldry

>>98441250

because some legions didn't want it or were too busy to get back to resupply (like the WS)

You're so used to parroting memelore, that you are not seeing what the source material actually says.
The BB quote about MkIV is an outlier that do not match the rest of the lore. And suspect, as it's just an opinion from a post war historian and an unreliable narrator by design.

Nta but we already made jokes on horus being drawn very similarly to mussolini in some fan art so that's the answer imo.

in the afterword for The End and The Death Volume 3, it's outright stated that visions is the mythological version of the heresy while the novels are the unvarnished truth

that's why he's one of the choices
the other is/was an actual actor that could reasonably fit the bill in the way of appearance while giving some acumen and talent to the performance itself, though
of course james could raise the replicated boy-benito so as to groom him for the role

I usually defend the BL books as the source materail for the HH with all their good and bad parts, but fuck that and fuck Dan Abnett.
He wrote that defensive afterword because he knew he had fucked up, gone too far with his self-indulgence, and turning the end of the HH as a fucking ad for his next Bequin book.

Fuck TEATD and fuck Dan Abnett. He shouldn't have written that final book, and now it's forever tainted. Nobody should take seriously the bs inside it, like making pic related not canon (yes, I kid you not)
>>
>>98442567
maybe from a hobbyist sort of perspective, but from a real world alternative history perspective (like what if alan bligh never died and heresy 2.0 never happened), it makes it hard to try and predict what a book after maleviolence would have been like
>>
>>98442577
If you read Alan Blighs after words he's always hyping up the novels too. Hating the novels is a very modern idea that is in reaction to the existence of lore only warhammer fans who end up knowing more novel information than your average hobbyist
>>
Speaking of BL slop I'm at book 30 and does the overall quality improve later on or is it always saturday morning cartoon-esque level? Because the first and second books were decent enough but I'm just not feeling it anymore.
>>
>>98442564
I think so, there's updated chronologies in several books up to the end of the Siege and beyond.

Btw, it's a shame that the GW fucked up so badly both Tallarn and Beta Garmon.
At least Tallarm got a decent BL book, but the rest was just lame and unfocused as fuck, when not outright fanfictiony.
>>
>>98442589
Yeah I also assume we would've gotten a book for the war in the webway given theres a rules caveat for the emperor in the custodes rules

Had ourselves an unintentional recreation of the battle of luth tyre last night. Around 1350 points for the traitors and 2700 for the loyalist. Some highlights: the militia troop scored two marine kills before getting wiped out in a single missile attack, the iron warriors warsmith tanked the fuck out of a ranged leviathan’s attacks and then some after his squad got decimated, the tyrant termies and their warmonger were lost in the warp until the final round, the death guard got into a brawl and sent the dark angels fleeing towards the end, but Marduk Sedras rallied the men and slayed Calas Typhon to win the battle.
>>
>>98442584
>Hating the novels is a very modern idea
No, it became a trend here during the mid 2010s as part of anti-woke seething because the authors were smartasses in social media.
Also because the success of the series also meant lots of normie redditors began parroring HH memes, and 4chan contrarians hate anything that becomes popular.
>>
>>98442614
This and also i think its because a lot of people expect WAY to much outta BL Books. People expect them to be some sort of amazing Epic Space Opera and the reality is, BL is just bolter wank. Its entertainment slop reading. Its like the fast food of reading, you dont pick them up because your expecting great literature, you pick them up because you wanna be entertained.
>>
>>98442922
The biggest complaint about BL books is that it isn't even good bolter wank. It's only up stuck book critics who love the smell of their own farts who complain about BL not being high literature. And the biggest problem with BL writers is that they try to cater to those critics, instead of the actual warhammer fans.
>>
>>98442578
Bligh's death is a real pity, the Black Books contain some of the best warhammer content out there.
Also wouldn't Malevolence been written completely differently as it was published after his death?
>>
>>98443057
In the Angelus (which was what the book was called at the time) seminar which bligh was there for it seems a lot of the book was mostly done with a lot of the talk being about the future of the black books
>>
>>98442564
not really and I would guess even they probably didn't have a fully set idea of what was going there, or it would have gone there

>010-011.M31

>009.M31
what's up guise its chaboi Sanguinius here back at it again fresh from Signus remember to smash that Traitor and ding that bell of lost souls
>012.M31
Battle of Trisolian - we did actually get an Exemplary Battles here which is what makes me think it was originally going to be larger; the two units that came from it are also reasonably memorable for being quite different to most EB units, and the battle itself would be a good time to update SW and SH, since it's mid-war
>008-009.M31
invasion of Necromunda; it's just to the north of the Inwit Cluster, and it's a major production world with a strong IF presence, so it makes sense a prelude to the Siege of Inwit; Necromunda gets so much dev work (and is even said to have been devastated during the Heresy, though this is never expanded on) that I feel like it's been bogarted for years and was meant to be part of this
>007.M31(1)
Knights-Errant on Isstvan III and etc; the Knights-Errant book we never got after Retribution
>007.M31(2)
End of the Chondax Campaign/White Scars civil war/White Scars vs all and the Khan declaring for the Emperor

>Knights-Errant on Isstvan III and etc; the Knights-Errant book we never got after Retribution

were we supposed to get that?
>>
>>98443310
I think so? there's some boilerplate lines about "future publications" there and I think in the HH2.0 Legacies that suggest it was going to expand

you could field an entire KE army last edition if you chose to - they just wouldn't have had an LA rule; and you could have fielded one in HH1 by choosing between whatever it was Furious Charge i think and the other one; and you could do it now but again you'd get no benefit for doing so, no bonus reaction points or anything, but the point being for three editions it hasn't actually been impossible, even in HH1 when they made it impossible to field WB Loyalists (which has since been reversed)

>>98443292
yeah, actually you're right

maybe Nyrcon? Solar War part I?
>>
>>98443368
Probably something to do with the garmon cluster, or maybe the siege of inwit proper?

>This is the same guy that was butthurt because Imperial bureocrats kept getting on his way.
Do you understand that this isnt contradictory? Horus had - as the warmaster, the highest ranking person save the emperor- incredible authority over the imperium at large. He did not have total and absolute authority (which is what he wanted).

Youre essentially arguing the president is powerless because he cant arbitrarily have anyone he wants shot.

Sheeeeeeit, guess its a good thing I havent listened to any of the three TEATD books yet. I heard that John gra-fuck himself and the eternals....I mean the perpetuals are in a shit load of all of it so I said fuck this noise....I just wont ever hear the end of the heresy, sadly.

Doesnt really matter, ive listened to enough youtubers both defend AND put all three books on blast so ive kid of absorbed most of the key points, but at the end of the day, its just another thing that I love that ill never get to hear the end of.....

Had the same shit happen with Metalocalypse, still havent watched the movie. I actually lost interest in watching it because I went and saw Dethklok live right after the movie came out and was devastated by how HORRIBLE Brendans performance was, both as his live character voice work during the show AND his guitar playing. He was COMPLETELY off his game and it completely killed any "want" I had to watch the movie....seeing Baby Metal open for them though was definitely the highlight of the night, almost made it all worth it, at least.

Wish I had done the same with The Venture Brothers movie. Didnt hate it, but didnt really love it either.

There's some neat parts in TEATD, but a lot of shit is needlessly drawn out, or in a holding pattern because a different plot line has to progress first.

They should have at least included this in TEATD, but probably didn't because of how bad BL slop looks in comparison lmfao
