The best haunted one commander therefore is the one it was intended to be used with, which is bad design overall.

There are lands which can tap as part of cost, easy instant speed tap-enablers like Relic of Legends and Honor-Worn Shuko, and even plain-old swinging nets you a powerful anthem effect.Sivriss in particular has a very easy work-around. There is a warlock in Edge of Eternities you can replay from graveyard for a single black and 2 life; it's very easy to get a value engine going past that point.These commanders are weaker than slop precon legends like Y'shtola or Cloud or Teval which do everything ever. But that's what makes them enjoyable to brew with.
