Anyone got some good Imperial lore recs for me that don't involve xenos or chaos? I think the modern lore is shit and they expanded on both too much- 40k is best when chaos & xenos weren't really described, and you had to imagine what they actually were rather than see them as actual factions.I don't have any models btw, so don't ask me to post any.
Just had a game where I took two units of 10 man intercessors (I larp as if I was playing 30k so I like taking max sized squads) and honestly they put up work. Even did 7 wounds to angron and held an objective for a couple of turns against a blob of berzerkers and two spawns. Drop pod melta devastators also killed like 400 points worth of exalted eightbound first turn which was nice.

I just added a decal to my Ridgerunner. I did it by gloss varnish onto the surface first, then once it dried ran a wet brush across the surface and put the decal in its place. I used some decal softener from Vallejo though not sure if it was necessary or I could just seal it with varnish again.
