>>98559312>>Thread Question >Whether from a Player or ST perspective, What are some things to consider when planning covert operations?Fun interactions. Heist games are some of my favourite and whether it's convoluted traps, patrolling guards talking shit, twists that go wrong, or stealing computer passwords off a post-it. Trying to come up with a short and sweet Camarilla archaeological outpost for Sabbat shovelhead PCs to attack so if anyone has ideas I'm all in.
>>98559192>Shouldn’t we blow up an oil refinery instead. Nuclear power actually tends to be better off than that
If a werewolf jumps through a drywall and surprises six people is it reasonable to assume they can kill all of them in around two seconds or so?
>>98559821Forgot to mention that the people are a mix of ghouls and high-gen vampires
>>98559821>>98559842Entirely too many factors to accurately determine. On the werewolf side the strength, tribe, and general abilities of this wolf are unknown. On the bloodsucker side, age and clan composition is unknown. We don't even know how many ghouls and how many vampires, let alone their experience level. Generation is only one axis on a vampire's power. 3/10 bait, please get some new material woof fag.
>>98559821>>98559842No, one of the vampires is a standard issue Tremere neonate with Movement of the Mind 5 who sends the Garou flying into deep space at a third of the speed of light. The neonate then returns to the lunar chantry to continue his research on how to become a fallen kuei-jin werecat mummy.
>>98559874>>98559946And if they were all ghouls or regular humans?

>>98559505you are not actually playing the giovanni in the giovanni chronicles. the children of issac are of any clan (lit you have a potential sire of any clan) and their main antagonists are the giovanni and the conspiracy of isaacin short the conspiracy of isaac the idiots who been fooled by the giovanni into thinking that the entire goal was to just kill japeth so that they could force the cappadocians to stop being neutral been meeting and (you) been mortal food and entertainment at the party but then the coterie that would become the founders of the camarilla showed up and the members of the conspiracy of isaac embraced the player characters to cause a bit of chaos so that they can escape while you die. hardestadt (presumably the younger but the timeline is really messy in that chronicle) however gives you the opportunity to work for him and get revenge insteadso yeah the Giovanni aren't even the main character of the Giovanni chronicles

Also I think every bug Fera had a Crawlerling form, although the flying ones would have had a different name for it. Dunno what their Auspices would have been, maybe the position of the moon in the sky, rather than its phase?
>>98560521>>98560604https://pdxint.at/46iQ3oOThey admitted [Drama] was a bad fit, so they're capable of learning
>>98560604Paradox are completely unable to comprehend how the tabletopside of the IP works. This is all esoteric woo woo to them. They don't know how to make this work or how to transition from being an autistic map painting DLC machine to making a cross media world building IP grow. This is why they keep on gutting the teams. It's why they can't put together a creative team who can make the content that satisfies the (huge for an RPG) fanbase. They can't oversee it or understand why it's not working.
>>98560807Not enough to salvage the fundamental issues baked into the playtest ruleset. They'd genuinely need to go back to square one for most of this stuff to make it worth playing.
>>98560814They really should've just made like, a modern crusader kings ish geopolitics autistic vampire map game or something instead of bloodlines 2. Or better yet just go dark ages with it
>>98560807Admiting that you are wrong is a great leadership trait to have, but if you keep making mistakes all the time you are not fit to lead, this is not a nice thing to say, but it's the truth.
>>98560807I feel like they're listening but they don't understand. The person in the article said that after playing games the drama system wasn't really clicking and actually hindering him. Everyone in here could have told him that without playing a single V6 session.
>>98560846Princes of Darkness mod exists and it's endorsed by Paradox.
>>98560846People would eat that up, Princes of Darkness is one of their most popular mods, but they got burnt with their mishandling of bloodlines and are now only comfortable letting third parties play around with the IP. They seem to have adopted the approach Games Workshop took to their IP for a long time where they will let anyone use it. We got a lot of slop from that era but it also helped make 40k and fantasy grow. So we will see if any gems come out of it.I still slightly hope they will just sell it to someone who knows what they are doing but I don't know what company could actually handle WoD correctly. Suggestions for who would handle WoD better?
Never ever forgive VtM onlies for letting Mummy get dogshit sales. We could have a modern E of Mummy, right now. We could have had it made.
>>98560846Still all in in the Bloodlines 2 seething party, btw. 20 fucking years for a sequel, and it doesn't have a damn thing in common with 1 outside if the name.
>>98560807But all the issues listed are issues literally everyone pointed out in the conceptual phase. How in the fuck was this not predicted? How was it ever signed off on?
>>98560807Being able to spot the easy stuff before even getting the feedback is… well, it’s not disappointing, but not exactly reassuring. The real question is whether they’ll be willing to shoot any darlings they might have if they have poor reception, like >>98560836 mentions. If they can’t pull the trigger even when it hurts, this’ll die on the vine. Suppose we’ll get an answer to that sometime in September…
>>98560999Well there's still time to send all these forms
>>98560604They do, to be fair.Diego made a bunch of derivative self published garbage, for example. All you need to worn on the second most popular TTRPG to ever exist is to be a marketable minority and have technically made lots of games. So get writing anons, you have just as many credentials! (:
>>98560999They will be too invested and too far along the pipeline to go back to square one. Doing so would mean at best months of delays and likely put most of the support and writing team on the chopping block. Without intervention from whoever they answer to in Paradox's management they will try to find a way to struggle on with what they have.
So you guys think if W6 actually comes out it would adopt some v6 mancanics like clan specific Frenzy being translated to tribe specific Haoglusk bars. Like how it was actually intended for hunters entertainment version of W5.Like one of the examples on ex writer J. F. Sambrano patron is the glass walkers going full tech bro is damming up a river both to deprive the wyld (whose bad as the wrym in they eyes) and power his Ai sever so it could figure out a way to seal away the Wyrm for ever.
>>98560775>I think that what Kin-Fetches do now is what weremoths used to do: teack Kinfolk and identify ones that were about to do their First Change. That would also explain why the weaver would want to destroy them
>>98561043You are real optimistic. I'm not sure they'll even get V6 fully out the door given its rejection by both V5 players and the old guard vampire players. In order to get a W6, you'd also need a M6 and a C6 (already announced) to happen and be considered profitable enough to go for a third splat. Which was a bridge too far for fucking WoD5.
>>98561043Haoglusk is probably the biggest mechanic most werewolf fans would want to see dropped. And trying to shoehorn W5 into fitting with V5 as close as possible was one of the major causes W5 came out as badly as it did. I hope if we get a W6 that they look to go in a radically different direction from W5. W5 is radioactive at this point. It literally killed 5th edition.>>98560775The bigger question I have is what would moth kinfolk be like and what is their relationship to them.
>>98561022>They will be too invested and too far along the pipeline to go back to square one.And it's a perfect example of the sunk cost fallacy in play. Sometimes in leadership you have to admit a decision you sunk a shit ton of time and money into was a complete mistake that will only lead to dead ends. Trying to "Salvage" it will only waste More time and money that could have been spent making a different product with an actual future instead.
>>98560959>We could have a modern E of Mummy, right now. We could have had it made.... why would you want that? Genuinely. What about the modern editions of other game lines makes you think you'd want one for Mummy? Also, I don't know why the other splatfags think they're entitled to vampire's player base. If your game doesn't appeal to them, it doesn't appeal to them.
>>98561091>You are real optimistic. I'm not sure they'll even get V6 fully out the door given its rejection by both V5 players and the old guard vampire players.Yeah it would be a mericle if 6e survives past M6 the mage chat we'll be legendary. >>98561097>Haoglusk is probably the biggest mechanic most werewolf fans would want to see dropped. Honestly I was thinking more along the lines that the Harano and Haoglusk bars being reworked into something closer to v6 humanity, which is also kinda a rip-off of forsaken 2e harmony bar.
>>98561091>I'm not sure they'll even get V6 fully out the door given its rejection by both V5 players and the old guard vampire players. What's both sad and hilarious is that they made the exact mistake they made with V5 yet again. With V5, they tried to make a single product to appral to classic vtm fans, chronicles VtR fans, and newfag indieshit fans in the delusional assumption they'd all merge into one super-fanbase. Yet another fanbase schism ensued. Now they did it again for VtM, VtR, V5, and even newer newfag indiesloppers, but it was so bad they actually succeeded in uniting them, in hatred of V6.
>>98561131>I don't know why the other splatfags think they're entitled to vampire's player base.As non-vampfag I have to agree. Why the fuck do so many people want the cringe larp, personal-horror-hugbox theatre kids in their ripntear woof, magical realm changeling, or humanity-fuck-yeah mage games? They'd fucking suck to have to drag around any story involving "fun".
Shark here. Me and Catalina’s player just came up with a dastardly little scheme! You know how Anubis is utterly insane because he diablerised over a thousand souls? And also how his own soul is too powerful to be consumed by the Assamites? Well Shark got this! Thanks to his newly acquired discipline!••••• Hunger of the VoidThe koldun embodies the distortions of the Tempest, torturing his soul to cleave a pit of perfect destruction into reality.System: The koldun spends a Willpower point, reaches down his throat, and pulls out his own soul. He spends a turn tormenting and stretching the spirit’s mouth ever wider as it mutely protests, clawing impotently at its violator in shocked disbelief. He tosses the contorted soul to the earth at his feet, then makes the activation roll (Attribute: Strength) before diving into it. With a success, the giant maw transforms into a cavity five feet in circumference that begins sucking in all it can to appease its insatiable appetite. The power has a radius of twenty five feet/eight meters per success scored on the activation roll and a duration (in turns) equal to the successes. All those within the radius are dragged ten feet/three meters per turn toward the Nihil, and have their speed slowed by half every five feet/two meters nearer they are to it. If consumed by the maw, they disappear and must make a Willpower roll (difficulty 9). After the power ends, the Nihil implodes, leaving an enormous crater in its wake. At the base of the crater lies the koldun with all the maw has consumed resting on top of him. Characters who have failed the roll are turned into mindless creatures, their virtues and morality stripped from them completely and reduced to zero. Vampires succeeding on the roll enter a Harrowing (see Wrath of the Tempest) for the rest of the scene and gain a derangement. Regardless of success or failure, any mortal consumed by the pit has its soul obliterated and enters a permanent coma.
>>98561180With ST approval Shark could consume a thousand cappadocian souls. With EXTRA approval it could be considered as diablerie, potentially lowering him to 4th gen.Extremely unlikely, but you never know.
>>98561146If anything would actually unite this balkans of a fanbase at this point, it'd have to be something mechanically extremely well made yet flexible, with "modules" for running different versions of vampire (or whatever splat) both mechanically, lore-wise, and with some initial plot hooks. And even then you'd have to concede that some people would still play older editions, even if what you've made is objectively the better game and can facilitate whatever lore they want, just because it's more familiar to them.
>>98559946>on how to become a fallen kuei-jin werecat mummy.[Samuel Haight wants to know your location]>>98560507Well that's... disappointing. For some reason I assumed you went from lowly ghouls to full members of the family while witnessing the rise of the gios and fall of the capps, only to later wake up in modern day and deal with Harbingers stepping out of the Shadowlands with a vendetta on your ass.
>>98561123I think the fanbase and cultural capital of VtM is big enough that it will turn a profit even if it completely sucks and does immeasurable harm to the IP. Paradox knows this and won't let an edition die with nothing to show. A likely outcome is that we are going to see WoD stagger on like a zombie, failing to maintain or grow its existing fanbase for another 3-5 years when they try a 7th edition of VtM.>>98561142I said in prior thread, but I would like them to try a multipolar morality meter. Either a 3 way >human, wolf, spiritor>wyrm, weaver, wyld. With some midpoint being the optimal lorewise. I hate Harano / Haoglusk with a passion it's the worst part of W5 to me, I never ran into anyone who thought it was well executed.
>>98561097>Haoglusk is probably the biggest mechanic most werewolf fans would want to see droppedI don't like the mechanic where Hauglosk is a bar that fills up from zero to five and then you become an NPC, with virtually no way to lose dots. But I like the idea of it. And I like that Hauglosk and Harano have their own tribes just like the Wyrm has BSD (although maybe the Get/Cult and Stargazers weren't the right tribes for that)
>>98561215Thing is Stargazers aren't in Harano. 5th edition presents them as the tribe who walked away from the nation because they are focused on the structural problems of why the apocalypse is happening and going after that. Because they might actually have an effective approach and are doing the thing the writers kept on proclaiming that you should be doing as a player they made them NPCs. Because the writers vision of 5th werewolf is that they have to suck, be doomed and be completely ineffective.
>>98561097Ananasi do not have kinfolk (or possibly have too many kinfolk for them to be special), it's not entirely impossible that Moths lack that aspect; especially if the weremoths are some kind of reality-anomaly from being erased before creation was finished.>>98559383One of the things that make the Ananasi so fun is that the people who made them were absolutely autistic about spiders and incorporated so many aspects of real life spiders into the monster. Like, the list of inspirations for the Ananasi is short and includes multiple completely real-world educational sources about spiders. To that end, the weremoths should also draw from real life moths. I don't have enough Lepidoptera autism for that, but someone in the wide and vast landscape of /tg/ must.Personally I'd incorporate the chrysalis and the metamorphosis they undergo into their nature somehow. It's very unique to them, and being reduced to goo then rebuilt and managing to have your own memories still intact feels like it'd tie into rebirth somehow.>>98561097Hell, maybe the kinfolk should be considered like caterpillars. They're not 'ready' yet, they need more understanding to have their spirits be true moths next time around.Lilian attached because I have it to hand, I'll probably gather some moth images later.
>>98561260>The Get of Fenris and the Stargazers were punished for being too good at their roles
>>98561207>wyrm, weaver, wyld morality meterThis is actually how the Ananasi experience meter works. Pic related, and even better, the Aspect that Ananasa assigns to you requires you to achieve higher levels of the renown that corresponds with the Triat your Aspect embodies. So they've done it before! And from my own table, it works absolutely great, especially as learning your aspect and acting more like it can be a wonderful character arc.
>>98561068I though the Weaver doesn't give a shit about garou and other fera as long as they stay out of her way. Why would she bother? The Weaver is doing nothing and winning, humanity carrying her hard, unlike the Ananas spiders.
>>98561297>it works absolutely great, especially as learning your aspect and acting more like it can be a wonderful character arc.Issue is, WtA already does this for all Fera. The other Fera just aren't Supposed to be embodying all of the triat like that spiders do, because that isn't their job.Garou follow honor, wisdom, and glory because they're WARRIORS before anything else. This is their job as a shifter species, if anything thet embody the three aspects of the Triatic Wyrm(Glory>Beast-of-War, Honor>Eater-of-Souls, Wisdom>Defiler) intsead of the Triat as a whole, because above all their job is to destroy things nature needs destroyed.
>>98561275Don't forget Red Talons.
>>98561308>The Weaver is doing nothing and winning, humanity carrying her hardThe fact this shit happened randomly without the weaver even prompting it is the funniest part. It's like the wyld one day decided to invent the concept of a shotgun, put the barrel in it's mouth, and then beat the trigger like it owed him money. One day just:>Everyone: nothing>Everyone: absolutely nothing>Humanity: "I WILL MAKE A PERFECT WORLD IN MY IMAGE!!!!"
>>98561260Wyrmish nonsense, destroying another Warehouse will save Gaia for sure!>>98561197They had their chance with BL2 to have their own Baldur's Gate 3/CP2077/Space Marine 2 and they blew it. The actual system is secondary to the playercount rocket fuel that boosts product sales, and in turn encourages releases of varying degrees of quality but releases nonetheless. Should've kept Mitsoda and Avellone.
>>98561351I like the lore implications of werewolves being the Wyrm's children or the Fera most aspected to the Wyrm. It's never really explicitly talked about within the books but it feels hinted at. Honor, Wisdom, Glory can be kept as a semi experience system but I do think that having a werewolf morality system being in someway tied to attempting to find a balance is thematically appropriate and far more flexible than W5 approach. That werewolves need to find another role than just destroyers.
>>98561380It's funnier when you try to square mage with werewolf and you end up with the technocrats unknowingly being the Weaver's strongest soldiers and probably directly responsible for the pattern web being so god damn widespread
What are some good systems to adapt WoD/CofD into but go full gonzo backflipping off the top of a skyscraper to cut a truck-sized werewolf's head off with a katana while wearing a trenchcoat and sunglasses with an explosion going off in the background?
>>98561499HERO
>>98561308She doesn't go out of her way to go after them but won't refuse to thin their numbers out in more subtle ways. Book of the city had weaver-run businesses and one of them would turn kinfolk kids into normal kids and prevent the first change of any garou that would go there.
>>98561174>As non-vampfag I have to agree. Why the fuck do so many people want the cringe larp, personal-horror-hugbox theatre kids in their ripntear woof, magical realm changeling, or humanity-fuck-yeah mage games? They'd fucking suck to have to drag around any story involving "fun".It would be really funny if V6 suddenly pivots to being a Grid combat focused game with zero maniacal support for non combat rendering the lore as set dressing at best. But then nobody actually likes VtM lore /sThe look on they faces would be priceless>>98561260>Thing is Stargazers aren't in Harano. It would be really if W6 revealed that the Stargazers was downgraded to Children of Gaia camp in the int-rem. Hey at least we get they gifts now.>>98561267Talking about weremoths you think they patron would go full radiance on the weavers after what they did to it's children.
>>98561545>It would be really^ sad
>>98561475>It's funnier when you try to square mage with werewolf and you end up with the technocrats unknowingly being the Weaver's strongest soldiers and probably directly responsible for the pattern web being so god damn widespreadAre you telling me that's not literally the main punchline with them? 1st edition had their realms straight up covered in spider webs IIRC and Revised gave them at least two separate Weaver infestations. For crying out loud their literal first Precept is about bringing Stasis to the universe.
Englings allow themselves to be hunted by Garou, and reward them with Gnosis for it. But Garou are supposed to be warriors, and the Sacred Hunt is exercise. Are there Engling-like spirits that serve different Fera in different ways? Like maybe one for Mokole that challenges them to recite stories from their past lives?

>>98562368This already existed in V5 as 'Succeed at a Cost' but it just didn't have the drama system assigned to it. Oh, and the ST was the one who offered it instead of this 'you must accept the offer or spend a drama token to counter spell it' thing

Not a single game being made right now understands wod was popular Because It Was The Unsafe Edgy. People are fucking tired of "Safe Edgy", they want transgression to be Transgressive.
>>98562399>>98562416"Player agency" is currently all the rage in indie TTRPG circles, so stuff like this that allows them to circumvent probability and nudge the game in a particular direction is probably a case of them trying to get new players from the Daggerheart and Blades in the Dark crowd.
>>98562432>"Player agency" is currently all the rage in indie TTRPG circles, so stuff like this that allows them to circumvent probability and nudge the game in a particular direction is probably a case of them trying to get new players from the Daggerheart and Blades in the Dark crowd.Honestly if it causes W6 to away W5's duel death bars then I'll say go for it.
>>98562408some anons here have posted they've been working on their own version of wod with casinos and hookers and real goth. even our local drawfags gave some signs they're working on something. you just have to wait and trust the plan or ask them if they bother to appear here if the schizos had not scare them out
>>>/x/42865845Alright boys, we in here. Discuss how to subjugate the humans of this board, harvest souls, possess others, and more!Interested in others' experiences with demons. Anything demon related is welcome even if you just drop a pic.
>>98562432>"Player agency" is currently all the rage in indie TTRPG circlesThing is this is a HORROR GAME.If the dev genuinely cannot see why giving players mary-sue levels of plot armor is a problem in a HORROR GAME, then they don't just lack the IQ to be game devs. These fucking retards lack the IQ to put the fries in the bag.
>>98562432>>98562482It's an over-correction from V5, which took player agency away to a dysfunctional degree.
>>98562487>It's an over-correction from V5Which is even more retarded if you think about it. V5 may have caised a schism, but the fact it had people defending it proved there's a market for those kinds of masochistic mechanics with the horror game crowd.Everyone and their grandpa is currently pissing on V6 in comparison.
>>98562507>Everyone and their grandpa is currently pissing on V6 in comparison.I think they are too far into development to change a lot of the game. I think Drama will be dropped, but a lot of the core mechanics in the playtest will be left in.V6 will flop, and WoD as an IP will be shelved except when a 3rd party company wants to make a video game for it.
>>98562550>V6 will flop, and WoD as an IP will be shelved except when a 3rd party company wants to make a video game for it.I hate to be that guy, but we were saying this for most of V5's run and yet here we are. I don't think the Swedes know about the sunk cost fallacy.
>Kept Composure instead of Appearance>Replaced Hecata with GiovanniDeserved flop
>>98562507V5 fans are pissing on V6 because Paradox put years of effort into making their V5 community an echo-chamber and now that's backfiring on them. V6 is just as bad as V5 mechanically and is an improvement lore-wise.
>>98562568>and is an improvement lore-wise.>an improvement>Giovanni somehow on top of everything when even Revised was explicit about how fucked they were.
>>98562580The Second Inquisition and the Beckoning both being shot in the head are each worth ten Giovanni revivals.
>>98562157I hope she's a Requiem vampire, because I want to put a Dhampir in here.
>>98562568>V6 ... is an improvement lore-wiseHow do you figure?
Have I ended up on some sort of inverted /tg/ in another dimension where people think the Second Inquisition and the Beckoning are good things now, or has /wodg/ become more popular with V5 fanboys now that Paradox is shooting their favourite edition in the head? What the fuck is going on?
Don't ask me. I'm just the last Chronicles of Darkness fan lurking here.
V5 lore was awful but the V6 lore is schizo, all that dumb shit still happened but didn't matter, except those characters you liked are still fucked, just in new ways.
>>98562611It's nothing new. When the new bad thing comes out, people whitewash the old bad thing and rally around it. Though I think this is less praise for the SI/Beckoning and more mocking the half-assed, pleasing nobody solution of "it happened but then got handwave undone" they went with. >>98562627You're really not. I am Vigilfag supreme.
>>98562627I like Forsaken
>>98562639>except those characters you liked are still fucked, just in new ways. This is a TTRPG, not the MCU. What happened to NPCs doesn't matter, what it's like to play a character in the game does. Not having to worry about quantum glowies and being able to reincorporate elders and methuselahs back into your narrative is a dramatic improvement.
>>98562662Yeah well it seems white wolf also love Forsaken. So much so They stolen 2E's harmony system for V6.
>>98562680>What happened to NPCs doesn't matter,It does, because you need other people to play, and those people have heard of the canon, and will be confused if you introduce Carna or Theo Bell or whoever. RPGs are not a closed ecosystem.
>>98562711No VtM game I've ever played in other than premade chronicle settings like CbN has ever introduced and involved canonical characters. Do you commonly run into Carna and Theo Bell in your games?
I wanna try and make an archon game for v20. Is 100-150xp good and should I give them 8th generations for free? I want to do some combat where they feel powerful. Plot is basically hunting some red lister in the city who may or may not have compromised the entire camarilla and the prince is desperate enough to beg the justiciar for help. Any tips aswell? I have only ever done neonate street level stuff.
>>98562459Has anyone ever played Demon: the Fallen?
Father, into your hands, I commend my spiritFather, into your handsWhy have you forsaken me?In your eyes, forsaken meIn your thoughts, forsaken meIn your heart, forsaken meI cry when angels deserve to die
>>98561203Well that's... disappointing. For some reason I assumed you went from lowly ghouls to full members of the family while witnessing the rise of the gios and fall of the capps, only to later wake up in modern day and deal with Harbingers stepping out of the Shadowlands with a vendetta on your ass.would have been better. no giovanni chronicles are pretty much a humiliation ritual dressed up as a chronicle because your goal is to save the cappadocians but you are destined to fail and if you manage to derail canon in any way then cappadocious himself undoes your accomplishment because it is all part of his plan (tm) harbingers also aren't mentioned because the chronicle ends in 1999 a year before lazarus get's them out of the shadowlandsyou can in the last book which plays 550 years later banish his wraith, but before that the player are just glorrified spectators and nothing would have changed if they were never embraced. it's easily one of the worst premades white wolf ever did (before ToJ) and that's not even going into how inconsistent it is with later lore like you see people invent paths in this because it was written before the dark age books
>>98559312This picture is someone going into the office after hours to grab M&Ms and Sun Chips from the snack closet.
>>98562594Anon, there's a long list of ways to make dhampirs in VtM. Most of them don't require using a dirty thinblood either.
>>98562741Yes, and it plays like a VtM game with elements of Call of Cthulhu sprinkled in.
In the arms of the angelFly away from hereFrom this dark, cold hotel roomAnd the endlessness that you fearYou are pulled from the wreckageOf your silent reverieYou're in the arms of the angelMay you find some comfort here
>>98562611It's the Rise of Skywalker effect.Undoing what you committed to last time is somehow worse to everyone than going along with it and trying to build something.
>>98562594She’s a Cappadocian, you twit.
“For when I speak of the banality of evil, I do so only on the strictly factual level, pointing to a phenomenon which stared one in the face at the trial. Eichmann was not Iago and not Macbeth, and nothing would have been farther from his mind than to determine with Richard III 'to prove a villain.' Except for an extraordinary diligence in looking out for his personal advancement, he had no motives at all… He merely, to put the matter colloquially, never realized what he was doing… It was sheer thoughtlessness—something by no means identical with stupidity—that predisposed him to become one of the greatest criminals of that period. And if this is 'banal' and even funny, if with the best will in the world one cannot extract any diabolical or demonic profundity from Eichmann, this is still far from calling it commonplace… That such remoteness from reality and such thoughtlessness can wreak more havoc than all the evil instincts taken together which, perhaps, are inherent in man—that was, in fact, the lesson one could learn in Jerusalem.”― Hannah Arendt, Eichmann in Jerusalem: A Report on the Banality of Evil
Am I crazy or is the werewolf book horny? It really likes to talk about WOLF SEX and BREEDING
>>98562902
>>98560959 >>98561131We already have two good editions (Mummy: the Resurrection and Mummy: the Curse).
>>98562453>working on their own version of wodGiven that my tastes seem to greatly diverge from what other people enjoy, I'll probably drop it.
>Ananasi are evenly divided between serving the Wyld, Weaver, and Wyrm>except the Wyrm-Ananasi are double agents trying to restore the Wyrm to before it went crazy>meanwhile in Asia>the Kumo are almost exclusively unironic Wyrm-freaks>like if the Black Spiral Dancers were werespidersWhat the fuck happened here?
>>98563062>What the fuck happened here?Yama kings.
>>98563062>people who been trying to use corrupting force against itself got corrupted by said forcegee i wonder what happened
>>98559312>Sabbat ductus seeks to empower his pack>Captures the lowest generation vampire he can>Forces captive elder to embrace as many childer as his pack is large, à la Lambach Ruthven>Instructs his packmates to diablerise the childer>Diablerises the low generation vampire himselfWhy doesn't this happen in the lore? Can you truly tell me that no vampire would have the idea of farming elders for their generation via diablerie of their childer?
>>98562741yeah i ran it and it was both very cool and very obviously unfinishedDtF really needed a second edition and i won't forgive paradox for not greenlighting it's 20th anni edition
>>98562902>Today we're gonna talk about the BREEDS, we're gonna learn about the T-I mean LITANY, we're gonna learn about FETISHES, we're gonna talk about PURE BREED, we're gonna talk about being WYLD-TOUCHED, we're gonna learn about the RITE OF MOTHERHOOD, we're gonna learn about the RITE OF THE PREGNANT MULE, We're gonna talk about BEARING THE CEARN, we're gonna see BIRTH OF THE FIRE MOTHER and you had best believe we're talking about the MAIDENS. If I see any of you moronic cubs laugh a single time I'm gonna use my own special RITE OF THE WOODEN KLAIVE and SHIOVE IT UP YOUR ASS.
>>98563098because people don't generally know other people's generation and a lot of characters in the fiction are even wrong about their own generation so how are you going to find and focus on a low gen vampire? most of those are also pretty well protected or hidden because most of them are also elders and they wouldn't be centuries old if they could be casually captured by any sabbat packthe second is that most vampires fight to the death or flee with very little in betweenthe third is that it's very hard to force a lower gen vampire to embrace because you can't dominate them but they can dominate you
>>98563098Are you that guy who keeps making posts about "DNDs?"
>>98563153I don't even play D&D
