Realistically speaking, just how justified are vampires in fearing complete and utter eradication by humanity?
Surely, there'd be bleeding hearts all around fighting tooth and nail to give them human rights and shit, right? And even then, if Masquerade was broken on a global scale and normies knew full well that some vampires are just completely irredeemable evil monsters, going full Burning Times 2.0 feels too extreme for our enlightened age.
I dunno, whenever someone says stuff like "muh nukes" in relation to this subject all I can think of is that one screencap where OP says that AR-15 won't protect 2A enthusiasts from a drone strike and some japanese anon tears him a new asshole over logistics and morality of a country waging full-scale urban warfare on its own soil.

>but week of nightmares

As justified as the Epstein class is in fearing complete and utter eradication by the non-Nephandi now that their identities and crimes are a matter of public record.
>>
>>98692400
Well, I have this theory.
If Vampires get found out, they become exploited by politicians and CEOs.
Vampire Vitae can grant immortality.
Also you can blame them for anything. “A Vampire made me do it” becomes a real explanation and excuse for your horrible actions.
>>
>>98692400
this post completely forgets that vampires are different species and stand on a different place at food pyramid and effectively see humans as cattle
>>
>>98692400
Realistically, vampires would run the world. The ruling class can do all kinds of depravity and face no blowback, and frankly, vampires have a committed, genuine reason to be less evil than the people running the world IRL.

You are tasked with making as many progeny as you can who are proficient at thaumaturgy as you can.

How would you personally go about dragnetting a population for people of 8+ willpower without cheating via infernalism?
>>
>>98692400
Well, it was pretty rough during the inquisition. Since then the humanity got better at killing stuff. The technology is at the level that we can invent and build new anti-vampire weapons on a daily basis. Vampires, on the other hand, haven't changed that much.

In case anyone missed it last thread, I added some new Bakeslave lore >>98690626 . Ive also started writing the storytime of getting turned into a cat by a Verbena, beaten up by a drone, and kidnapped by changelings. Its long overdue but I really wanted to update his character sheet and officiate it with a storytime, plus I was thinking of one day taking all the storytimes and writing a full story similar to Ananasi-anon's work. Also I saved a moth last night because it insisted on being crushed in the door frame until I prodded it to fly away.

Once again
Moth central, mainly copied from last thread (and some from my documents)

Forms:

>Flutter/Flitterling
Crawlerling equivalent
Str: 0, Dex: 6, Sta: 0, Man: 0, App: 0
The only form the weremoths can cross the Gauntlet in

>Lepidoptera
Hispo equivalent, literally just a giant moth.
Str: -1, Dex: +2, Sta: +2, Man: -1, App: -1/0, Per: +3
Can fly, -2 to athletics/dodge difficulties while flying

>Magnaelae/Torquentis
Crinos equivalent. Magnaelae (from latin, Great Wings) / Torquentis (from latin and cultist simulator, Skintwister.
A massive monster moth, a 2-3 meters tall mothman, a horrifying human-insect-moth hybrid. (Kinda like with Ananasi, they have “subforms” of their warform)
Str: +1, Dex: +2, Sta: +1, Man: -1, App: 0, Per: +3
Can fly, -2 to athletics/dodge difficulties while flying
Causes reduced delirium -2?

>Tineana and Sedose
Both are Glabro-styled, although Tineana (Pathmoth Glabro form) is a permanent homid-glabro equivalent as I was thinking the Pathmoths don't have access to homid at all.
Cha +2, Man +1, (Dex +1?), -2 to intimidation (they are cute)

>More on the Tienana and Sedose
The Pathos weremoths lack a true homid form, instead they have access to Tineana (from latin, Moth Human). A human-sized moth-human hybrid with humanoid form but has compound eyes, chitin-like skin and insectoid jointed limbs.

The moth-like near-human form of a [Weremoth] is not one designed for increased strength or toughness; a moth is almost never a predator, after all.
Instead, it draws from the other great defence of nature: fawning. Through a combination of softening their features, a mix of subtle pheremones, and a partially fuzzy exterior, a [Weremoth] in Sedose gives off a completely non-threatening aura.

Consensus seemed to be no homid for either Auspice.

As always, discuss

Lore:

Nobody really knows where – or when – the weremoths came from.

Many conflicting accounts, stories, tales, and myths tell of the weremoths. Some claim they never died, having somehow survived the Weaver’s displeasure during the dawn of time. Some say they woke up from the dead – a theory with many claiming to have played a part in, or claim to be the reason why the weremoths exist in the present day.

Those old enough to remember the early days of history, the Mokolé do not speak of, and the only one with real answers, Queen Ananasa who was there when the moths were first crushed, does not answer her children’s queries.

The most popular theories, none of which the moths themselves claim any of – as the moths do not care, they simply are – all revolve around spirits.

Was it the Wyld herself who saved and claimed the moths? Was it the Moth, or the moth-shaped Unknown who woke them? Were they even killed in the first place? Were they simply trapped in the Dreaming and and let loose with the rest of the fae? Had they been stuck in the Shadowlands for untold aeons and had only recently found a way out?

Nobody knows.

Many Garou claim they are the reason why the weremoths exist at all; the most proud of the Garou are to this day furious that the weremoths do not thank them, and do not listen to the Garou.

What everyone agrees on are the facts anyone with eyes can see. There are two distinct types of weremoth. The Glamour, and the Pathos. The Day, and the Night.

>Auspices
Glamour and Pathos, basically "Day and Night"
Glamour would be more focused on the social, the wonder and transformation
Pathos would be more focused on the mystery, the dead, stasis, and (also) transformation

These are the general ideas that seem to be most agreed on, such as the origin of the weremoths being a bit of a mystery that nobody can (in the world of darkness) agree on, and those that might know (Mokole and Ananasa) don't tell shit.

do the lasombra thing where you ruin their lives over and over again. if they kill themselves then they didn't had the willpower needed
>>
>>98692578
How many people can you feasibly interact with in a single night? 100? 200? Cities have thousands and thousands right?
So even if you do that, there has to be a logic to finding the best sample size of 100 people to try that on. Where would that be? I don't have an answer to that, I'm genuinely trying to puzzle this out
>>98692668
Sure but again sample size, how many people's lives can you ruin in one night to get the widest net possible (without breaking the masquerade)?
And effectively that is just training someone with low willpower to high willpower instead of just finding those naturally willful people
But even if you did that, you would want to find the best starting point right? So where would that be?
>>
>>98692707
>there has to be a logic to finding the best sample size of 100 people to try that on. Where would that be?
athletes, academia, leadership figures, hardened criminals, arguably monasteries - people with track record of succeeding in competitive environments or enduring hardships

Assuming VtM as the only canon splat because trying to map how a broken masquerade works out in a combined setting is functionally impossible due to having to many factors and contradictory statements, thus it will boil down to the author's favorite faction winning because they say so

Fears of total eradication aren't unwarranted, but it's probably unlikely. However, be you a neonate or elder, do you really wanna roll the dice on being one of the 5% at best that survive? In any case, both vampires and mortals would be looking at a very ugly century if the masquerade got shattered.

We like to think that mankind always bands together to defeat a greater threat, but truth is our record there is actually quite spotty and largely dependent on context. VtM's official stance on a shattered masquerade = total vampire death is predicated on this pleasing lie. The real bitch of it is going to be paranoia. Just because you know vampires exist doesn't mean you know where they are, or even how to spot them. Most vampires look human and would require a detailed inspection to be found out. Most vampires also have at least one discipline that makes hiding even easier. Expect a lot of false positives, a lot of dead innocents. And as more people die, and what remains of public trust slowly dies, mankind loses its biggest advantage: overwhelming logistics. At the same time, this makes social feeders have a tougher time, and violent feeders still have to deal with the fact that mortals outnumber them by a comically large ratio. There would also invariably be those who want to join the vampires, meaning it'd still be possible for the vampire to have ghouls, further muddying the waters.

In short, everyone loses as the world slowly drags itself into the early iron age over the course of a century. What remains is a weird dark fantasy setting, like Vampire Hunter D but all the archaeotech is just 21st century stuff, so far lamer.

cont.
>>
>>98693063
I think the main factor for exactly how hard vampires get fucked is what the Sabbat and Camarilla does. If the Sabbat are idiots (likely) and try to strike immediately with everything they have, they're going to get absolutely flattened because the mortals might be off-guard, but they'll also be at full strength. Not to mention the Sabbat's obvious inhumanity and direct methods would make them the perfect enemy to rally around. They get reduced to a tiny fraction of original strength in a year.

As for the Camarilla, it depends on if the Inner Circle has a plan or not. If they don't, it's a fustercluck as Princes handle it at their own discretion. Very mixed results, some end up getting their entire city dusted, others handle it mildly well, a few exceptional domains even retain their shadow control. The paranoia age begins. If the Camarilla does have a plan, I'd assume it'd be to target the very fragile infrastructure that keeps modern life afloat. If they do this immediately it might slightly backfire and give the Sabbat some early victories, but even if they boom the power grid entirely I can't see the Sabbat winning long-term. It also assumes that it'd be executed perfectly, I'll say that the Cam could probably execute at 60-70% efficiency. In any case, the big loss for the Camarilla is that it'd need to have as many vampires go to ground as possible, meaning the Camarilla itself would effectively cease to exist. I could see some particularly deluded Elders refusing to go along with the plan and getting themselves (and their followers) dusted due to refusing to start from scratch.

In almost every case though, you see a mass die-off of Kindred and Kine over the next century. Industrial civilization collapses, and the world becomes a dark fantasy setting.

>>
>>98692215
that's because many of the writers had deep experience with occultism, including goatman who's infamous for pearl clutching about letting people play nephrandi because mage is muh chaos magick. but if you look at the history of these practices, a large number of occult beliefs revolved around enlightenment as a way of restoring the world, escaping it or realizing one's true will. with themes like the salvation of humanity through ascension, the writers were a bit self aware when they parodied warlock the pretension as the splat that took itself a bit too seriously, but there is reason in that between the lines, mage is a deeply emotional story about humans attaining self-actualization and transcending this grimshart setting.

>>
>>98693346
The difference is that Exaltations are grafted on top of a person and Avatars are naturally integrated. Much like the body already consists of several different systems with their own feelings and processes working in tandem to create a more cohesive whole, the Avatar is a part of the body responsible for spiritual awareness and develops its complexity from your previous lives. Dark Age doesn't have Avatars capable of preference or communication, and Sorcerer confirms that ordinary people can "grow"/awaken an Avatar (more likely the DA equivalent stat would be appropriate), that the act of becoming a Mage is a natural process to the human condition.
>>
>>98693441

Also we talk a lot about how stupid it was that nobody brought silver (especially the leopoldites), but it also bugs me how the writers seem to have forgotten Occam's powers that they established in his first actual scene. The main Moth Totem could be made using the "Big Moth Spirit" that people have been bringing up. I also recall people saying that it would give gifts to the moths.

> I think V5 changed quite a bit about them so I don't know if them being retarded was nu-lore or them being written as jobbers.

ther writters making them jobbers. the society of St leopold (yes leopold got canonized as saint in v5) are the guys who wipe out the supernatural in entire major european cities in single operations in v5 and they are the one hunter org that h5 doesn't let's you join just because it's too op and for no other reason which is why they bought back the house of murnau as pretty much the pre v5 society of leopold

so perhaps it's a counterreaction to wod 5 making them too op? that nobody got because nobody gives a fuck about the SI and h5 hunters

Has it been established he can teleport anywhere? It might have required him to set up beacons or something in the chapter house, so he's powerful at home, less so in the field.
>>
>>98694223
He looked at D and Remold, took a breath, made a handsign, and teleported to them. No mention of some sort of ritual node network was made, so we have to reason to assume that's how it works. Especially since if he could teleport through nodes in the Chapterhouse, he should've been using it during the crisis to just teleport to and from the armory rather than split the party for it.

A more logical intuition from what we saw is that he can teleport to any point within his range of natural perception. If he can see it, he can teleport there. Which means he couldn't just run through the chapterhouse willy nilly, but could move surprisingly quickly in a big open field.

> And even then, if Masquerade was broken on a global scale and normies knew full well that some vampires are just completely irredeemable evil monsters, going full Burning Times 2.0 feels too extreme for our enlightened age.
It really depends of what the vampires do. Trying to whitewash themselves and sacraficing a couple of the more notorious elders should be the best course of action. They'd still have to deal with all kinds of people pushing their agenda. I think this is a scenario where the Society of Leopold can really make things difficult. They don't know everything but they do know a lot. Imagine some of the worst things vampires have ever done being all over the internet and most news channels. Every prominent vampire the inqusition knows off being revealed for what they are. Most vampire weakness being one google search away. Governments being given all the intel they could ever ask for. They don't even need to come out of the shadows to do all that, they'd do everything to rile the people up and steer them in the right direction. You don't need to convinve everyone that vampires are evil, just the majority.
>But goycattle are docile
That's because we live in an age where everyone is willing to let things slide as long as they're comfortable and someone else can do everything for them. A lot of criminals actually get away with the shit they do because the law exists (and because it's in someone's best interest that they continue to do crime). Joggers can steal 3 cars in one day and get a slap on the wrist, you go after them and you're looking at some serious time. Either way, going to war would realistically be a lose-lose scenario like >>98693092 pointed out.

No? The Monarch is chiefly defined by his deep, all-encompassing yet surprisingly toothless hatred towards Dr. Venture. It's an up-jumped, unwitting sibling rivalry that's kind of one-sided. But he's chiefly defined by that petty hate.

Kevin was a nerdy but normal guy wallowing in mediocrity, only to get embraced by an extremely backwards Tremere Chantry to file their goddamn taxes. He then loses favor for doing his job correctly and ends up joining the Sabbat to get out of his current situation, further downgrading his already squalid life in order to have the illusion of freedom. Only to once again get knocked down further as a collaborator for Hunters. They aren't remotely similar characters in terms of personality or story role.

Do you really think they're similar because they have similarly high pitched and nasal voices?

There's definitely room for them in these crazy times of ours. Some of them might find alliances and a place with the large commercial players of today, some might scoff at the degenerate nonsense of modernity. I recall once reading a story about the Chac Mool promising power to a writer as he let the old deity into his life, but ending up drowning the writer and crossdressing for fun. This could be an example of adapting to modernity. We'll see what I can come up with that makes for a fun game. Once again, many thanks.

>It does seem like Huitzilopochtli was a relatively minor deity that got elevated by the Aztecs as a national myth in order to justify their expansionism,

This is a topic I need to look into more, but my understanding is that Huitzilopochtli was entirely(?) specific to the Mexica (I am assuming you already know the distinction between Aztec vs Mexica vs Nahua etc as terms, if not see here: https://archived.moe/bant/thread/24991309/#25000836_ originally as their patron ethnic god (and in fact, he may have originated as a folk hero or deified leader who was elevated to being a god within Mexica culture), and Huitzilopochtli only would have been worshipped by other Mesoamerican groups (even only first by other Nahuas) and became a part of the broader Mesoamerican pantheon of region-wide deities after the Mexica rose to becoming a major political and military power (and even then, by the time of Spanish contact, Huitzilopochtli worship was still not particularly widespread), since I know that one of the (relatively few) things they demanded their conquered subjects to do was to put up a shrine to Huitzilopochtli, and IIRC, Texcoco's great temple originally had twin shrines to Tezcatlipoca and Tlaloc, and it's only at some point later as Tenochtitlan's power grew that the Tezcatlipoca shrine was replaced with a Huitzilopochtli one

I've seen it commonly cited by researchers that over time even in Tenochtitlan, Huitzilopochtli was regularly elevated in importance and took on more elements of Tonatiuh, but something about that has always seemed not quite right to me, and even in accounts and codices which discuss the Mexica's early history during their migrations, Huitzilopochtli already had a major role, but I guess you could argue such accounts are rrevisionist?

Anyways, one of the best overviews on Huitzilopochtli iconography is "Incarnations of the Aztec Supernatural: The Image of Huitzilopochtli in Mexico and Europe", it's basically a short book or an extremely long academic paper all about the deity and his visual iconography and the way the god was then filtered through European sources as a representation of Aztec idolatry and devilry as a whole and how the deity actually became a minor demon within broader European demonology (See pic, and also how some versions of Faust has Huitzilopochtli, with a very mangled spelling, being one of the demons that gets mentioned in the tale), with a bit of focus also on Quetzalcoatl as a contrast who was a Mesoamerican deity that (to a degree) actually had their image sanitized by Europeans and friars

>The Wyrm/The Abyss is a primordial entity/place/concept of entropy
While I would caution you against taking it uncritically as a completely accurate interpretation of the way Mexica theology actually functioned and was understood by real Mexica people, since there are critics (often particularly people who study Nahuatl as a language) who push back on the idea, you might be interested in looking into James Maffie's interpretation of Aztec theology and metaphysics as a kind of Spinozan monism, as he outlines in "Aztec Philosophy: Understanding a World In Motion", which itself builds on some concepts and ideas that Leon-Portilla talks about a lot in "Aztec Thought and Culture"...

I don't know the full story, because her growing reluctance to deal with people outside of working hours cut me off as well, but her loss of faith in humanity seemed to be mostly about the patients rather than fellow staff. From what I've been told back when we still talked vast majority of ER cases seem to be either dumb people doing impulsive dumb shit, usually with drugs or heavy drinking involved, or even dumber people having long term consequence of their self-destructive lifestyle catching up with them. And you just end up patching up the worst of the damage but can't fix the root cause, the addict will keep shooting up whatever ungodly mixture of chemicals he can get his shaking hands on, the 400 pounds diabetic will keep having his toes rotting off, and won't care because he can no longer see or feel them. So it's fundamentally pointless waste of effort and material. Contrasted with much lesser number of legitimate accidents and people that got messed up by no fault of their own, just dumb bad luck, and you'd really want to help them so that they can get back to their normal life, but sometimes you just can't do enough to save them. That's what I've been told.

My own interpretation is that we all know life is unfair, but we try not to think about it too much least it gives us crazy, so when that unfairness gets rubbed in your face on daily basis, detachment becomes a valid coping mechanism.

>James Maffie's interpretation of Aztec theology and metaphysics as a kind of Spinozan monism, as he outlines in "Aztec Philosophy: Understanding a World In Motion", which...builds on some concepts...that Leon-Portilla talks about...in "Aztec Thought and Culture"...

Cont:

...I bring this up because within Maffie's framework, the act of preforming sacrifices and other rituals (as well as social order, sanitation, cleanliness, etc) is essentially ordering and structuring the monist energy force that makes everything up and to ensure that the necessary cosmic and natural cycles occur, when otherwise the universe would naturally decay into what is basically entropic heat death as that monist force becomes disordered. Recall in >>98689198 how I noted that literal dirt/waste, disarray, indulgence, moral or sexual deviancy, etc were all tied up into a concept known as "tlazolli": In Maffie's model, that is essentially that natural state of disordered entropy

Again, this interpretation has it's critics (see reddit.com/r/nahuatl/comments/12euub3 and rotwork.wordpress.com/2022/11/26//), even the less radical concepts Maffie builds on from Portilla and some other authors (such as where Nahua deities are not animate literal entities or beings, but are mere personifications of natural cycles, and/or are more a verb then a noun, and they are the role or costume that represents them, so when a statue is adorned in their regalia or a deity impersonator embodies them prior to being sacrificed to that deity, that statue or that impersonator IS the deity by embodying them in rituals) also are rejected by some, but if you're dealing with a setting where cosmic entropy is already a part of the lore, it's worth looking at:

Reckoning would be more interesting if rather than becoming psychotic Imbued got their creeds from their actions, like a guy who goes out to kill werewolves with extreme prejudice becomes an avenger. Better yet make them real people with variable biases: a defender who's had interactions with Children of Gaia might not be told they're the token good of the werewolves, while a redeemer might not get that not all ghouls are unwilling slaves until one stabs him in the back.

Here's a short form of the Moth spirit waking up and flying to earth.

The Moth’s sleep was interrupted by a cluster of firecrackers going off.

The Moth’s massive, ghostly form moved sluggishly as it shrugged off eons of sleep. Finally, it faced the source of the fireworks.

The Moth remembered the source very well, as the Moth itself had pupated and hatched from its chrysalis there.

Gaia, with Helios and Luna next to it.

The Moth tilted its head, its large insect antennae twitching and its proboscis uncurling as it tasted the umbral winds of deep space.

Another storm of firelights came to existence and departed, and the Moth found its curiosity piqued.

Then came the taste. A blend of emotions so vivid the Moth found itself reeling. Fear mixed with awe, terror blended with joy. Anger, rage, sadness – all exquisite in strength, yet with them came the flavors of pride and happiness.

Then the Moth beheld wonder.

Gaia lit up in a blaze of wonder and curiosity – emotions which brought the whole package together in a way the Moth had never experienced before.

The Moth moved. It unfurled its massive wings, and with a single beat of its winds it landed on Luna. The Moth’s many legs cradled the now-dead surface of Luna, yet the Moth did not focus on that.

The Moth saw the light in full; a bonfire of wonder and possibility.

The Moth found it good.

So how does Paradox scale up with regards to witnesses? Is it a linear scale or does it get silly fast?
>>
>>98699283
It's typically a binary of "you're witnessed by any number of mortals, or you're not witnessed at all." Paradox rules are dependent on edition but with M20, being witnessed only matters if you botch.

Red Talon retard. At first, the Lynx was bothering no one. Then when the encounter happened the Lynx surrendered, but the woof kept being menacing. So the lynx stood his ground. Afterwards the wolf escalated the situation with the wolf form, but tried to talk it out… using the language only wolves can understand. The Lynx saw that discussion was still possible so he tried to defuse the situation with humour and taking a form that they could both communicate with, only for the dumb dog to kill him.

And what did the Red Talon took away from this needless violence? “Just kill them on sight next time.”

Someone skin that moron. His pelt could be put to better use elsewhere.
>>
>>98698041

Director of W5 was a second generation Muslim immigrant Swede, who has come to associate any sort of Norse imagery with white supremacist movements, so turning the Get of Fenris into villains was an absolute must for him, to the point where he terminated an entire studio who was working on the game and delayed W5 by a year or two, solely because they refused to do what he wanted to the Get of Fenris.

Owlcat is also working on The Expanse.
Their games are kinda jank but very SOUL. My biggest grip with them are management minigames. In Kingmaker you become a ruller of a country and have to deal with many issues that come with it. In WotR you're leader of the crusade and have to manage that. In Rogue Trader you are... a Rogue Trader and has to manage a bunch of stuff as well, planets, resources, ship, etc. Rogue Trader one is least invasive, but still you can't 100% ignore it. If Owlcat were to make a WoD game after the prologue you'd become a Prince, a Primogen or at least a Sheriff.

In 2e, you didn't gain a single point of Paradox for successfully casting a vulgar spell, witnesses or no witnesses. Not gonna lie these games are one of the few reasons I don't kill myself in a very stupid way.
>>
>>98701988
You may add Necromancy as a fourth in clan discipline.
>>
>>98702136
Knowing myself, odds are I would end up with Thanatosis because can't have shit over here.

This Mass Effect 3 had bad ending meme needs to die because it had far worse parts. Such as Good. You opened this message. This isn't actually asari military command. They're busy tending to what's left of their planet. So you survived our fight on Thessia. You're not as weak as I thought. But never forget that your best wasn't good enough to stop me. Now an entire planet is dying because you lacked the strength to win. The legend of Shepard needs to be re-written. I hope I'm there for the last chapter. It ends with your death.

>points of aggravated damage rolling permanent paradox + arete against difficulty 6
guess that's one way to haze the new guy
>>
>>98702360
If he's a new guy he has arete 1 and thus a 50 50 to take a single aggravated. Unpleasant but.. not deadly. If it's somebody stepping across the gauntlet themselves, it's minimum 3 dice which is still "only" 1 1/2 on average and 3 at max. If he can somehow soak agg, it's pretty trivial.

Mages stepping across the gauntlet and nuking you is actually a degenerate strat that most creatures except Garou have no response to.

Man, Reckoning would've been the shit if the devs made them more like witchers or grimm than Supernatural, like:
-Defenders are outright superhuman within what they consider home, but limited to a neighborhood.
-Judges having a Penance Stare abilitiy that inflicts pain proportional to the one their targets have caused regardless of guilt.
-Martyrs swapping splats with their targets, thoug that's more of a punishment.
-Avengers channeling Beowulf against a particular supernatural.
And so on.
>>
>>98702505
Or more:
-Defenders turning their homes into prisons where supernaturals are rendered normal.
-Judges being able to turn, say, Red Talons into humans in body and mind.
-Innocents being untouchable by guilty supernaturals.
-Avengers being able to temporarily turn abused kinfolk into proper Garou to set them at their abusers for payback.

What's evil about VASCU? I thought they're just like Will Graham types.

I'm not a fan of the cereal killer either

Grooming mentally unstable young men to become mass shooters to pad your budget, but this time you do it with psychic powers instead of drugs and blackmail.

Don't know about stuff like Alienanon, Knights and such. For Dagon you ask me or Fish Anon, I go to my google docs and copy paste it into the thread.
You can also try and search for it on Suptg (good luck, I don't anyone mentioned it in the archive's description)
IF you are actually interested in DtD and want to help, I would welcome you with open arms, because all the spells are still incomplete from a mechanical standpoint and I need help because I don't play this game

"Humans are nice and I'm going to slaughter any Talon who says otherwise" is basically another way of saying "Humans deserve to exist and I will not allow them to be slaughtered like cattle", so a willingness to throat other Red Talons makes perfect sense here. It's just that at this point the woof would be unwilling to join the Talons, even if his ancestry came from them.

>a willingness to throat other Red Talons
Kinky
>>
Are yeren a good matchup for garou?
>>
>>98703342
Not all anti-humanity Red Talons are "purge the humans, Impergium now." There's a couple of camps with more moderate approaches that involved defending Wyld places first and foremost and limiting any killing of humans to trespassers who step foot in their territory.

The things a progenitor will do to avoid inventing a cure for cancer
>>
>>98703447
Don't worry the Smart Squids will invent a cure for cancer for us
Squid cancer, that is. Not human cancer, who gives a shit?
>>
>>98703443
Yeah, until they kill people that get lost and their Avenger relatives come to, well, avenge them.
>>
>>98703453
And then a Pentex subsidiary moves in and turns the caern that the Red Talons were protecting into a logging site that rapidly becomes a wound and plagues the local community to Banes.
>>
>>98703463
Can imbued fight banes? That would solve a lot of problems.
>>
>>98703447
They tried, the Syndicate put a stop to that
>>
>>98703479
Their first mistake was making it a permanent cure
>>
>>98703471
There are some edges which could be very useful against spirits, but for the most part, standard Imbued are woefully ill-equipped and ill-educated when it comes to dealing with spirits. They're much more likely to kill Garou who are far more capable of dealing with problematic spirits.

In a direct fight? Eh. Their attributes are better in Crinos (They have less Strength and Stamina but +1 Dexterity and +2 Athletics than a woof Crinos which is better in the grand scheme of things) but they don't deal Aggravated damage with their claws or bites.
>>
>>98703490
To be honest, a permanent cure out of nowhere would get rekt by paradox.

Conscript: The Expedition
>base system
2e MTA, 2e VTM, 2e WTA/changing breeds, 2e changeling, 2e wraith(risen), 2e kindred of the east, 2e mummy.
>homebrew we use
The game itself is a homebrew cross-splat, as such all splat characters other than typically unplayable characters are playable.
We use a few combat patches and allow gifts and powers from revised and 20th. We also use revised era and 20th rules for necromancy and other forms of thaumaturgy. We also use some revised era lore for Baali and dark ages devils due for demons. We don’t play with week of nightmares lore either, and the year is 2026
>what is it?
This is a vocal west marches game. Server games typically have anywhere between 1-6 players at most however the maximum pool of typical players is higher.
>gameplay hook
You have been kidnapped by a mysterious organization calling itself “The Order”.
You were an experienced supernatural, or even a human, who has been taken from what you would consider normalcy. You have been living your life in the world of darkness for quite some time, but now you have been beaten, captured, and marked with the alchemical symbol of the sun. You are now being forced to go on assignments under the watchful eye of a mysterious group of arch-mages, referred to by other mercenaries as the archons, and forced to live in a labyrinth of dimensions referred to as citadels. The Order's goals seem rather esoteric and strange. Assignments seem to consist of a mix of hit jobs, snatch and grabs, and time crises, with mysterious magical tokens as the reward. However, every time you ask the “why” for these missions, you get told it’s all to maintain the status quo so that the archons’ ideal world will be realized. Whatever that means.
