Animal Warriors of the Kingdom is chuggin' along and unlocking things almost daily. There's a LOT of cool shit that we could end up getting, like the huge pachyderms and more birds.

>>10931846I was originally gonna stick with one blue lizard and a pair of red lizard grunts, but these alt heads are throwing off my plans, as are some of the new reveals. The Bard Bird is a really cool concept, and if his lute actually transforms he'll be a must have. He'd still be a good figure if it was two different accessories, but not transforming would leave it feeling a bit lame imo. The Lioness is also on my list and probably the only female I'll grab from this wave barring any surprises. The ones that really throw me off though are the Elephant and the Ox. I just assumed all their big guys would have that same squat legged build, but the Ox seems to have an entirely new buck with appropriately long legs while the Elephant just looks like an absolute beast. The Rhino is also pretty up there, but he's not even listed on the KS yet. They all put the Lion king dude to shame though as he just looks awkward with his tiny legs and oversized upper body. I wasn't really planning to go hard on this wave, only grabbed three the first time around and p/o'd an army builder pack of the Hyenas but mostly so far, but otherwise I kind of ignore this line. But they're going pretty nuts with the variety in animal types and body designs this time around and some of these figures will be way harder to ignore then previous waves.

>>10934354Each lizard figure come with a second head based on the color shown in the pic. The Chameleon has the alt snake head, the blue saurian has the blue lizard head and the red saurian has the armored alt head. They're just extra accessories so you can have different looks for multiple figures, especially if you remove/mix/match their armors.

>>10934452Yea, the chameleon head doesn't really work on the buff reptilian body for me. If I get him, he'd certainly be rocking the snake head, though that comes off as *very* MotU to me, moreso then any other figure in the line. Though the Chameleon head does supposedly have articulated eyes, and that's just a fantastic touch. With the red one, I like the armored heads more, as it helps make him look more like a grunt. I wish these guys were sold at the cheaper army builder price point they've sold previous lightly geared/painted figures previously as he'd be pricey to army build otherwises. The Blue one however, I like both heads, and that's a problem because the rest of him just feels like too unique a design so I don't think he'd army build all that well. He also has the best weapon load out of the three reptilians, so that's another point for grabbing at least one.
BBTS has Alopex on preorder and has really good pictures of the figure. She actually looks really good from the photos

honestly my biggest wish is an anthropomorphic axolotl, there’s only one I know of and it’s 1/18 scale in the Jazwares fortnite line and it was hard as hell to find and expensive now. could make for a cool warrior type character since they have regenerative limbs and could have cool accessories.
