Looks great. Best Legends female buck to date. Literally can't wait. Seethe.

Ive accepted that domestic toy lines will never look like their source material, I dont know if thats due to the budget or the sculptors but they will once in a blue moon get a fig just right(i.e. Retro carded beast and spiral). Imports is our only saving grace when it comes to comic book accuracy.
Sadly, the majority of collectors wont switch to imports and thus imports will never get the mass appeal and the mass output of new characters. If only we all just bought imports, maybe domestic toylines will get the idea and change.

Equating huge titties with sexual deviancy is not only wrong in a general sense, it is particularly insulting and oppressive towards women who have huge titties. I'm sure you believe you have the best, most noble intentions, but in reality you are contributing towards women hating their own bodies based on negatively associations you perpetuate.

What is the context you're pretending I'm ignoring? The fact that these are figures and not real women? Having irrationally negative views towards representations of busty women is not materially different than having them towards real women - unless you think it's fine to be sexist towards images because they're "not real."

It's amazing how some of these people don't seem to realize the hypocrisy they're spouting. Not talking about exclusively this hobby either. The recent Stellar Blade video game controversy is a good example. The IGN France reviewer started ranting about how the main character was designed by someone who'd never seen a woman and it was completely unrealistic, only for the designer to have based her body on a Korean model and have a wife who also likes designing hot female characters.

>>10953226
>It's when people in these threads want huge tits and her pussy lips visible through her costume that I think is too far.
The former is people wanting accuracy to the comic design, which I doubt you'd have a problem with if it was a male character, and I haven't seen anyone asking for the latter.
>>
>>10953454
Everyone should've gatekept the hobby better. Anyone who went to see MCU movies is at fault or talked about them with normal humans. If comics had remained what they used to be there would be a lot less terror to be had around sexy wimmens in comics because there'd be no normal human rats to complain about it.
>>
>>10953627
comics were already complete dogshit years before the MCU even started

Neca, JADA, McFarlane, have no problem selling figures at retailers like target and walmart for adult collectors below import prices. I can find Elvira's expose huge titty cleavage at walmart just a couple aisles from the toy section and no one is throwing a hissy fit about it.
>>
>>10952886
>Once Hasbro figures out (remembers?) that big titties aren't evil, their female figures will be top of the line for their price.
It's the super liberal design team that is doing the small chests. They buxxom body went into retirement for years because they refused to design anything with "that sexist body." It was only briefly pulled back out for reissuing Rogue and a few others on retro cards a couple of years ago and then sent back to the slammer

>>
>>10957570
>Tell me her faults and convince me and I won't buy her and you'll successfully take 25 dollars from hasbro
She has small tits.
>>
>>10957595
I've accepted that unfortunate flaw. I don't think it lowers the worth below 25 though.
>>
>>10957632
Well, if you're fine with an collectible nit being an accurate depiction of the source material, there's nothing I can say that will talk you out of the purchase. If you don't have standards, that's a you problem. But the good news is that you're not alone.
>>
>>10957653
Only certain source materials would I require that and this isn't one of them. Now one could point out flaws of range, sculpt, unflattering poses that make the figure look worse subjectively and that could be swaying. Once the figure is out, rumors of QC issues could be detrimental.

Since we're still discussing this, I find it interesting that Hasbro has no consistent policy when it comes to titty sizes. For example, Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk are both clearly undersized. However, Monet St. Croix and the Classified Series Retro Scarlett, released in the last year with new torsos, both have big, honkin' yabbos.

Rather than some rigorous puritanical policy, it seems like Hasbro has no real design standards and just lets the various teams do what they want without any consistent guidance or vision. This is why the Goblin Queen has no exposed legs when other figures do. This is why the Puff Adder wave Yelena Belova doesn't have double-jointed elbows when other figures do. It's all done adhoc and incoherently because the company at large is mismanaged and indifferent towards the quality of their products.
>>
>>10952143
this shit looks so bad
reminds me of some old Revoltech figures
>>
>>10958231
Yeah. Tired eyes and the weird upper lip.
>>
>>10957765
Its not a conspiracy like they think, its just dependent on the sculptor
>>
>>10957765
Completely off topic but this made me look at Monet who happened to be next to him, and yes her chest is quite large. She's just a nice figure though, except that I noticed her inability to move at her waist. The lack of articulation in that region results in a surprisingly stiff look, despite having the ball in the mid-torso. I get that with a thin torso it could result in it pretty ugly if they try to put a ball down there, or even worse if they do a straight cut.
>>
>>10958406
I think Hasbro finally figured out that ball joint for the upper torso and inverted hinge joint for the lower torso is the best scheme for articulation. It's the one Ms. Marvel has, and looks good on both a male and female body (when it's done right). This is why, despite her diminutive chest, I think the new Ms. Marvel figure looks great. If they fixed that one flaw, I think the figure would be pretty much perfect.
>>
>>10958234
I like TiredGirls
>>
>>10958424
According to industry leading action figure reviewer Anthonyscustoms, the reverse would be better. A ball joint at the waist and a hinge at the chest
>>
>>10958458
i'm gonna go with industry pros over that joyless groan factory on this one.
>>
>>10956082
Bad paint, bad plastic quality, inconsistent design, inconsistent scaling, no/bad accessories, and decade old posability tech.

Let's be real, people buy this garbage because capeshitters don't know better
>>
>>10958584
the bad plastic quality is what really gets me
like not to praise mattel as they clearly make cheap trash too but holy shit after picking up a couple origins figures its like night and day between the two companies there. Why can mattel afford to make solid plastic that doesn't bend under its own weight and hasbro can't?
>>
>>10958593
Anyone have that pic of a legends case filled with warped toys because the box sat in the sun?
>>
>>10958593
Soft plastic isn't bad it's just got more plasticizers added to make it less likely to break. It does this by bending instead.
>>

soft plastics from Hasbro likely cost more, because it's custom made by chemical engineers who created it and formulated specifically for them, thus also increasing costs.
PLUS, since children toy makers like Hasbro also need to test the plastic for safety reasons, that's another added cost. Collector lines don't need to do any testing and can use date rape drug laced plastics, covered in any lead laden paint they want.
>>
>>10957765
>Rather than some rigorous puritanical policy, it seems like Hasbro has no real design standards and just lets the various teams do what they want without any consistent guidance or vision.
or most likely due to bad luck the local troon inside the ML team designed Jen and Carol, while the good guys designed Psylocke and Lilandra

I'm commandeering this thread because I just discovered a comic-inspired She-Hulk was released in 2017 as part of the A-Force Heroines 6-Pack. Of course, you could argue the new She-Hulk looks better in almost every way, except for the chest. A side-by-side comparison really shows what a poor job they did with the upper torso on the new figure.

It's not just the size. It's also the way the old upper torso is cut to end along the bust line, giving it a more seamless, natural shape. The new upper torso, like a lot of female Marvel Legends, has a line of material beneath the bust line that ends in a harsh, arbitrary way. It doesn't even conform to real musculature. It's just there as a big, wavy eyesore.
