Don't tell me you missed buying the SHF for the import record low price of $20. Anyway, I've always loved these little ones from Ghostly Adventures. Picrel were a buck each in an attempt to sell them as pre-order bonuses, but I don't think anyone, including me, bothered to pick the game up.

it literally came out day one at $20
the reason it's so cheap is because SH Figuarts is owned by Bandai Namco, now guess who owns Pac Man?
No third party licensing means cheaper figures.
pretty sure half the cost for any figure ever made is due to licensing alone.

I got this candy tin at a candy and soda shoppe. It's perfect size for GI Joe and Star Wars. It's about 3 and ¾ inch tall, inch wide and 2 inches across.

There was a planned Ms. Pac-Man using this terrible redesign, but it got cancelled, likely due to the legal issues with AtGames.
Ghost figures would be nice, though.

Where’d that design come from? Were they trying to match the cabinet art? I still would’ve bought it just because I love Pac-Man and it would look nice with him. If you wanted a more classic version you could just paint the bow red and put her on the Pac-Man body maybe paint the rest of the eyes black instead of that blue eyeshadow. I wonder what accessories would’ve come with her, probably a different ghost and fruit, although it would’ve been cool if she came with Pac-Man Jr as a baby.

I have no issue with the color palette, my issue is the face. It just looks like Pac-Man with a bow and makeup.
Earlier Ms. Pac designs had somewhat subtle differences in the face compared to Pac-Man, like the smaller mouth, the smaller and shorter nose, and the round eyebrows as opposed to Pac-Man's triangle-shaped ones.

This is actually Ms. Pac-Man's modern design introduced in 2018. She appeared in social media posts but not in any actual games due to the AtGames shit.

Okay it's a long story but I'll try to make it short:
>Namco made Pac-Man in Japan
>Midway published Pac-Man in the US
>Small company GCC makes money selling rom hack kits of existing arcade games, has one for Pac-Man in development called Crazy Otto
>GCC gets sued by Atari over one of their hacks, leading to a new law being made that they can only sell these hacks if they get permission from the original game's owners
>GCC decide to negotiate with Midway and Namco over getting Crazy Otto released, and it becomes Ms. Pac-Man
>The agreement is that Midway owns the game while GCC would be paid royalties
>A little bit later Namco buys the copyright from Midway
>Namco makes a bunch of rereleases of the game and features the character in new games for decades, not knowing about the royalties
>GCC finds out and sues Namco in 2006
>Namco loses money and now have to pay royalties to rerelease the game and use the character
>Bandai Namco attempts to sidestep Ms. during the 2010s, only occassionally rereleasing her game
>Bandai Namco attempts to negotiate with GCC about buying out the royalty rights from them in 2019
>Fucking AtGames (some shady company infamous for shitty plug-n-plays) offers a larger price and buys the royalty rights
>Bandai Namco, who already had a rocky relationship with AtGames due to their poor products, are fucking pissed that they have to pay them to use Ms. Pac-Man
>Bandai Namco attempts to sue AtGames but that doesn't go anywhere
>Bandai Namco have now resorted to completely avoiding Ms. Pac-Man altogether, even going as far as to replace her in recent rereleases of Pac-Land, Pac-Attack, and Pac-in-Time, as well as the remake of Pac-Man World, with a new, legally-distinct character named Pac-Mom
