The ideas treehouse would be the closest since it includes a ton of green as well as brown/orange for the autumn color swap, but I don't think any of the sand green in your pictures.

When lego started in on license slop it was the beginning of the end of classic lego. Most license sets and most afol sets are contrary to the idea. Instead of encouraging creativity and taking apart a model they now encourage you to follow the instructions exactly and display them. Additionally in an attempt to make more money Lego further strayed from “only the best is good enough” to “brittle brown? Fuck too we’ll put cracked torsos on our promotional materials and you’ll buy it anyway!” The lg is like any successful company they’re going to do what makes them the most money for the least cost. They don’t care what you think and they don’t care if they ruin their own legacy if it means shipping more units and paying less to do so.

I really like the design of the vehicles and the spacesuits. The little aliens are fun too. I was really hoping the City Advent Calendar would be space themed this year. Maybe a few micro builds of the ships, a few aliens, some space figs, and all set on a backdrop of celebrating Christmas while on an alien world. But I would be happy if the space theme keeps going in some degree or another into next year.

Buy two and you were set. Throw in a ten dollar dragon egg, and bam. Question for you guys. I built Luke Skywalker's X-Wing with someone last night. It came together great, but the mechanism that makes the wings go up and down feels tight and I feel the wings don't go out as much as they should. Did we mess up that part? Also, would it be easy to take apart the build to get to that part and try and fix it?
