>>11030055Attack Pack revival when?I’ll repost my images from the last thread to get things rolling.
>>11030180This is the Inno64 Liberty Walk F40.
>>11030183Detailing on this thing is nothing short of spectacular. The front and rear grills are photo-etched mesh and actually pass air through to the appropriate places.
>>11030188It’s also got a full set of fixed disc brakes behind those centre-lock wheels.
>>11030190Incredibly good, especially for its price.
>>11030183>Inno64 I got a 64th scale Inno model of the Ford Sierra Cosworth I had in my 20's and it's just as impressive. They even got the pattern on the seat upholstery right.Sorry, no pics right now. It's at home and I'm not.>Liberty WalkDon't know as much about that, but I see the name a lot. I assume they're an IRL custom/tuner shop in Japan?
>>11030911>Liberty WalkYeah, group of absolutely fearless customisers from Japan. Some of their recent projects have included pissing off the entire Ferrari collector community by making a couple of custom widebody F40s and a widebody engine-swapped 308GTB, and converting an original Lamborghini Countach into a drift car.
>>11030967>absolutely fearless customizerswhat's so special about them? All they do is add extra-wide bolt-on fenders and put lowriders suspensions on poster cars and call it a day. Anyway hope tarmac does the '96 ennea igol f40, missed the '95 brummel one
>>11033976It’s more what they do it to. Ferrari is notorious for starting frivolous lawsuits against people who modify their cars. I don’t know what legal leg they think they have to stand on trying to sue people for modifying their own personal property, presumably purchased second/third/fourth-hand and not from Ferrari, and models of cars that haven’t been offered for sale in any form for 30+ years, but they do it all the time. They’re even petty enough to erase the car’s serial number from their manufacturing records if word gets back to them you’ve modified it in some way, so the company and collectors will no longer recognise it as a “real” Ferrari. There’s no doubt they’ve made some legendary car designs over the decades but as a company they’re absolute cunts.
>>11030967If they can make a fully functioning actual factual Blvd. Bruiser, then and only then will they earn my respect and my praise.
I didn't plan on getting three Porsches. It just worked out that way.
>>11034694Where's your bugatti
>>11034824Don't have one yet. Any model/color recommendations?
>>11034824>Where bugatti? Its smooth, jellybean shape makes it perfect for this kind of thing.
>>11030055is this the best version of the Dragonoid truck? I just went to a Monster Jam and got surprised that existed
>>11034824I honestly think this latest revival of Bugatti is just utterly soulless, cars laser-focused to appeal to the Andrew Tates of this world. At least the EB110 was the highly innovative work of people with some passion, even if it’s not my favourite aesthetically.
>>11034029>It’s more what they do it toas i said>All they do is add extra-wide bolt-on fenders and put lowriders suspensions on poster cars and call it a daythey're no different from zoomer hippies who throw shit at famous artworks, sure it draws attention on them and for their business this is very good but they're still doing nothing different from the hippies throwing shit on famous artworks. Now think about Koenig specials, they were tuning poster cars decades ago, just in a better way>>11034694just like real life: the gt3 is such a FAT fuck
>>11034824>>11035672>I honestly think this latest revival of Bugatti is just utterly soullessYou are not alone. Current Bugatti (from Veyron onwards) is just overpriced VW ad and there's nothing left from french legend.
>>11035931To each their own but I actually like the majority of modifications LW comes up with, and I think saying all they do is bolt fenders on is pretty reductionist.>>11035938The Artioli revival was clearly handled by people who cared. The factory they built in Italy was nothing short of astonishing, and until recently it was standing intact and untouched. There’s some great videos of people touring it on YouTube. On top of that they built a car from the ground up and even designed their own incredible V12 engine and transmission from scratchNew Bugatti is just VW overcompensating due to insecurity over their image of being boring cars for white collar office workers and Chinese bureaucrats.
If you're having trouble storing Kings of Crunch, Monster Jam, and Hot Wheels Monster Trucks like I was, I may have found a solution.https://www.sterilite.com/product-page.html?product=19638606&mid=262The biggest thing i own is Bigfoot #5, and it still fits. I don't have it filled, but I think a dozen trucks is possible with a little room left over. Looks like a parking lot!
A couple finds at the antique store. A generic Toyota Levin with opening doors and nothing but 'Made in China' on the bottom. A Lionel Fundimensions Southern Railway truck. It seems to be pretty rare. I only see one other on eBay for the NW Railway.
>>11030055Thoughts on the upcoming Small Bloc? Apparently it is based on a pinewood derby car.
>>11036561I don't usually like cars that have a plastic body and a metal base, but this one will be an exception.I bet it is going to be a pegwarmer, soI don't think I'm going to have trouble finding it.
got this, opened it
/dcg/ is for DC General
I love the Mcdonalds cars.
>>11036801wish they would bring back some of their older cars, as kid i loved the kyle petty's grand prix
I need it.
>>11038697would>>11036561wood
>>11037648Would be nice. I'm happy I was able to find the florida man car in good condition.
>>11034824The Bugatti's grille represents a woman's vagina.
Good morning Sirs, it's been a whileAnyone else feel like this year's 250 mainline Hot Wheels feels particularly shit?I'm collecting them for Gaslands (mostly, I have also developed an addiction for buying toy cars as well as Warhammer it seems), but the new boxes at the supermarkets in the UK here are just full of unremarkable sloppa. Braille Twin Mills, Hot Wheels High, and Max Steels just cluttering the racks.I do like the Punk Rod though, again I'm maybe coming at it from a Gaslands angle rather than collecting real cars though.
>>11045800American here, yea its been a lotta sloppa this year. I've only bought 5 hotwheels thus far. I think I bought a lot more in recent years past.in my lifetime every decade alternated in quality. 1990s was excellent time for hotwheels. metal on metal, good colors and decals, emphasis on cool factor.2000s was bad. Bulky molds. Unwanted gimmicks, awkward attempt by westerners to appropriate weeb drift tuner culture badly. 2010s was excellent with good paint application, deep-cut cult classic cars, cool themes and sets and better understanding of what people like about jap carsnow we're in 2020s. the trend seems to be ugly wheels and attempts to appeal to girls instead of boys. next year we'll be halfway through the decade already, either they'll go back to appealing to adult male collectors or they'll double down on the gay shit. (I don't wanna flame or argue if anyone disagrees. There are cool cars coming out this year theyre just behind an extra layer of sloppa cars that American audiences don't seem to be buying (I travel across many states in a year and check targets and walmarts))on a more positive note, personally I got the orange C6 and silver C3 convertible vettes, the mint miata, the purple Skyline RS, and my personal favorite for how hotwheelsy it turned out, the Pontiac Aztek. All great imo.looking at the 2024 wiki, I haven't been able to find the Civic Si, the new Godzilla Skyline, or the dragon blaster.
Guys i found thishttps://collecthw.com/hw/id/52129Should i hold on to it? Will the value increase over time?
>>11030055Good day, sirs. I'm not at my best, but today I managed to get a Ford Bronco and a chocolate empanada.
>>11048343that's fucking cool! I've been collecting hot wheels since I was a boy and only in recent years learned about the treasure hunt cars, I have yet to find one but I keep my eyes peeled. but I'd keep it just because of how cool it looks.
>>11049886I think the price for them is going to fluctuate in time, just like at the stock market...I'll keep on to it, see what happens...hope you find something good, i wish i found an audi quattro!
How many months does MiniGT usually delay
White hummer rc half price at local Target. White plastic looks... like plastic. 12.50 though. See matchbox moving parts ver of the hummer for buy one get one. Maybe swap the body onto the RC? Worth a shot...
The extra weight doesnt slow it down much, but since it has a lot of metal up front, the turning radius is a sligghtly wider than it was with the plastic body. Still a lot of fun and looks far better
The speed boost button on these things is pretty zippy.Took about two hours of dremel work to get it to all fit since the matchbox body is slightly narrow compared to the RC ver.
My little off-road Honda is starting to build up some respectable battle damage after keeping me company at work for a few months. Between this and the new Lincoln Continental, MBX has given me some all time faves this year.>>11050224Now that is pretty damn cool. I didn't know HW was making their own little RC cars, that has all kinds of potential for body swaps.>>11049340Hey, you're doin' better than me. I'm hitting up the dollar store after work, but no empenadas for me :,^(>>11048343Nah, just open it. That Volvo casting is badass and adorable and those colors are sick as fuck. I'd love to vroom that sucker around my desk.>>11045800>Anyone else feel like this year's 250 mainline Hot Wheels feels particularly shit?I've been mostly unenthused with what I've found in person, but looking at the list, there's definitely more than a handful of things I'd buy if I ever saw them. Pegs near me are always notoriously bare, though. MBX has been picking up the slack.
>>11046316Yeaaaah buddy, another Aztek fan. Shame they messed up the tampos on them. It's a shame they got rather boring cars coming out this year. Maybe it's the tampos as those can make or break a casting. First editions of the 08 Ford Focus were pretty cool while one of the most recent ones was a teal with some dumb art. Doesn't make it very desirable.
>>11045800>>11046316I pretty much ignored most of what's come out this year save for the occasional multi-pack with stuff that actually interested me (Like the flames pack with the Blvd. Bruiser for example). On a side note: I finally got all of my skelly cars with the day of the dead decals in.
Today's treats. I am Gaslands minded so sorry for not buying real cars.
>>11051700Not really sure why I bought the T-rex transporter, not a fan of the fake third axel (like really, is having 3 axles that against the rules?!)
My Kaido House NSX finally showed up.
>>11051761The headlights pop up, which is neat.
>>11051706>(like really, is having 3 axles that against the rules?!)Any amount of extra effort for unique molds is against the rules. It's still a pretty amazing design though.
Siku cranes are pretty fun.
>>11051706>is having 3 axles that against the rules?!Don't fuck around with frivolous numbers of axles...
Kinda regretting unboxing the building set just after realising I had this and they were the same scale with the cars, so at least I'll take a photo before putting it away again.Do anons have carpark/convenience store sets for their diecasts?
>>11053418No but I'd like some. What is that?
>>11052585This trainmobile is neat in a gaudy sort of way, but it really needed the third axel to set it off. Shame.
the two-axle versions of the flying fortress casting are just pitiful-looking.
Let's not forget the most disheartening victim of their cost cutting policies. I won't even post the retool. It's like seeing an old friend become crippled.
>>11054249>What is that? This https://www.tiny.com.hk/locale/en-US/product/ATS64033Was gifted to me when I left the place. Happy realization at the 1:64 scale.
>>11053103Is that multipack exclusice mustang?
