The eyes are still a bit rough looking and the kneepad sticking out like a spike for no reason is some classic Yamaguchi nonsense. Still looks like it will be fun to mess with though.
Any pictures of the domino mask head?
That is the main reason I bought this thing.

That reminds me of the Batmobile in Ninja Batman. It transformed/contained the jet, motoercycle, and finally the mech armor. I don't understand why we don't have toys of this.
>>
>>11030714
It's kind of tragic to see Yamaguchi being put on stuff like Marvel and DC. He does great work on those, make no mistake, but there is literally nobody else that does robots like him. They're wasting him. There are so many mecha franchises I want to see him tackle.

>>11030790
I think we now have more places doing highly articulated or stylized robots than humanoids, so I get why Yamaguchi stopped making them. This >>11030714 is very Yamaguchi-esque already. With EvaEvo gone I do miss his PVC with simple joints figures of Mecha genre. It's mostly plamo and needlessly expensive diecast stuff. Robot Damashii is throwing in more Metal I noticed. And I think normal release of non-Gundams stopped since they kept flopping.

Who knows maybe the trend will flip again and he goes back to robots. He does need to teach one of his underlings that side though.

I remember when mecha fans were shitting on revo sculpts as being trash for years. Not so much the proportions, but the crispness of the sculpts(or lack there of) it's all cyclical I guess. When the Marvel/DC stuff stops some people will wish they were still doing it.
>>
>>11031244
The main problem for that was the size, the Revos were too small for the PVC to carry details. That's not a real issue now the figures are like 1.5 times taller. And they could make just the head ABS if honest, that's the only place you really notice the difference.

It's jarring now that we have a standard build WS how jacked AY Cap was.

Would you guys like a Cap 2.0, but it has to be tacticool modern comics Cap with same body type as WS or DP?

>Would you guys like a Cap 2.0, but it has to be tacticool modern comics Cap with same body type as WS or DP?
I just can't bring myself to give a single solitary fuck about any of those Cap designs. They are just so boring. The only 2.0 Cap I would buy would be classic or Bucky Cap.
>>
>>11031275
Well you skipped twice since 2.0 had one reissue.

Let's see if third time is the charm and they fix the sheath attachment finally.
>>
>>11031280
I honestly wouldn't mind Falcon Cap because Revoltech is the only line that does wings right. And I know Yamaguchi would make sure it can recreate this scene.

The sculpts were never the problem really. If you look up old pre-production and proto pics you can see the sculpts are very nice. The problem was, Kaiyodo at that time was using very thick, gloopy paint (that also tended to get sticky over time). This thick-ass paint tended to obscure the details in their sculpts and make them all look soft. For certain figures I think it was also a choice to use a softer plastic that contributed to this.
>>
>>11031269
Yeah, they're gonna look great together. Glad I never sold my Venom Snake now.

Gurren Lagann is the one mecha IP I think AY should pick up if they are ever going to. There are so many good choices not just to redo but make proper action figures. Like the team, Space Gunmens, the mass production models, enemies, and the Tengen Toppa Gunmens from the movie.

I'm honestly not sure how much pull GL has anymore. People don't seem that excited over the Buzzmod Yoko, and I basically never see it brought up anymore in anime discussion.
>>
>>11031375
I think mecha popularity and let's say pilots popularity are completely different. And so is pilot action figures vs statues. GL still gets completed models and kits made for the mecha side and they seem to do okay enough. Like what other new mecha IP in the last 20 years or so have a stronger pull besides some new Gundam series? Code Geass maybe? Is it higher or lower than GL who can tell.

Huh while I was checking on something I found out Gainax filed for bankruptcy just a few weeks ago. Granted I don't think much is left under the Gainax name anymore.

new to toys, and i just got my catwoman, my first AY. i like her a lot, and i'll be subbing her in as black cat from time to time. her right leg has a tendency to pop off. i wish her shoulder pads didnt limit her arms so much. im so fucking excited for arkham batman. im glad they didnt take as many liberties with his design as they did with catwoman. i feel like a pervert just for owning her.

I'm glad he has detached holding hands. Aizawa and Catwoman were the same. At some point we kept getting closed loop hands and they greatly limit what they can hold. I think the weapons packs are making future AYs to be more versatile. AV didn't make the cut.
>>

Don't worry, now that Gainax is bankrupt (again) they'll start remaking their old hits with modern soulless animation like what happened to Spice and Wolf.
>>

>>
>>11031271
Only thing that noticeably stands out are the grey joints on the metal arm. Seems like a weird choice.
>>
>>11032706
If you mean the elbow joints it looks like lighting affects it a lot. But matching plastic and paint colours are always tough. As for shoulder joint I don't know which one would be better. You could get two and swap the joint colours probably.
>>
>>11031501
like i said, its my first AY. i feel like the fact the only one i own being one designed for coomers will be called into question. shes has a face with her tongue out, and the movable eyes means she can do ahegao. all very weird to include. they get away with it because shes a woman, but imagine if they did anime bullshit with batman.
>>
>>11032747
>they get away with it because shes a woman
Eh the males do have movable eyes time to time. The musculature and how much care goes into the hip area being seamless or no visible joints at least is going extra. I wouldn't say it's that one sided. Tokyo Revengers AY even had their own unique fragrances apparently.
>>
>>11032747

says you. AY Venom, carnage and spidey are practically naked they even have sculpted bulge.

>and the movable eyes means she can do ahegao.
AY Cap and joker have screaming face with moveable eyes.

You're reading too much into this shit bro. They just wanted to make her feminine and sexy as a counter to their male figures. I'm glad kaiyodo didn't go gay with their female figures like mafex or other mutt toy company.

If you were alive during the Burton Batman era, you'd know what impact Michelle Pfeiffer had on millions of teenage boys. Same could be said for Julie Newmar, Eartha Kitt and Lee Merriweather in the Adam West era.
Uma Thurman probably would have had a greater impact as Ivy had her movie not been directed by a faggot.
And Anne Hathaway's ass when she jumps on the Batpod is the most memorable thing from that movie that isn't the opening 5 minutes.

Yamaguchi...I beg
>>
>>11033565
So true, Asurabro !
>>
>>11033472
It was great and glad Yamaguchi got his desire to put out ABS action figure out finally. But DESU I don't think it was the right move on multiple fronts. The added costs didn't really resulted in a superior product IMO and seeing what he did with OP and Shinkalion Eva versus all the AY and EE he put out mecha or not you can see how much more can be done when the costs are kept low with PVC and shared joints.

I just hate that one engineering decision is somehow tied to a genre. But I get they want to do what sells first. Maybe when those new Japanese IP keep failing like TR they get to bots again.

>>11033472
As a diehard transformersfag I just can't accept a tf that can't do its namesake... It does look really good, though
>>
>>11033715
You're really losing out then. It used to be a lot of people saying shit like this back in the day, when you had like, Action Masters and the handful of Revoltechs. But now there are so many companies doing non-transforming TFs, and so many of them are excellent. You're just forcing yourself to miss out on great toys at this point.
>>
>>11033720
I just don't see the point when transforming is a huge part of the appeal to me, third party pretty much has me covered when to comes to tfs that can also pose very well. Yamaguchi stuff is on a whole other level and worth even appreciating even if you dont give a shit about the character, and that fills its own spot in my collection
>>
>>11033586
It's not that distinctively different from what Bandai does in RD line, especially the Zeon stuff since they too are bulky. Some places the range is better. There are model kits with crazy shoulders like they have a series of 5 swivels or something like that. So compared to the 1/12 industry that hasn't done much articulation improvements from the Microman Material Force / S.H. Figuarts joint scheme, the robot toys and models have been doing fine. Innovations Yamaguchi is doing for the 1/12 I haven't seen others trying at all. The occasional let's pull the shoulders out of the body in the ugliest way possible to gain range attempts maybe.
>>
>>11033555
Nah nah nah, this needs work. Ditch the knee joints, just make them big spikes that are permanently attached to the shins so that they jut out when the knees are bent. And add a worthless bicep cut that barely serves any purpose other than breaking up the sculpt. And what's with that head sculpt? Why does it have a chin and normal looking eyes? It needs to look like it jumped right out of a piece of poorly fanart with giant googly eyes. And the costume? No, it needs to be the SF6 design that everyone knows and loves.
>>
>>11033800
Recommend me some good bulky RD Zeon stuff. The last ones I tried were the ANIME Alex and Zaku FZ, which I was thoroughly underwhelmed by and felt they didn't do much past the norm.
>>
>>11033812
>Zaku FZ,
I thought that one was pretty good. Zaku that can do a 180 high kick, not impressing? Like most won't be that different but FZ has a good side chest section to move the shoulders more seamlessly. Dom types move about the same but with thicker builds. But I tend to like the amphibious MS like Gogg, those try different methods at least. I'm excited for Hi-Zack because the HGUC is ancient and that design looks so stiff to begin with.

I've skipped the two so far, and I'll probably skip the kid up there and just be a yugiboomer and maybe grab Yugi depending on how good it looks. I just didn't find the prices of the first two, on top of how they looked, worthy of a purchase. I do think the 5Ds protag looked a lot better than GX though, so Ohtsu, of he keeps sculpting the humans, will probably keep getting better. I've been all in on the Monsters though, so looking forward to Utopia and I assume Dark Magician. Yugi had so many signature monsters that if they wanted to go that route and make a bunch of those I wouldn't complain. Same goes for the other chars, whatever makes a cool figure.

I could see him getting made and a Decode Talker coming. Would look good with the Moderoid Accesscode Talker, if that ever shows up. He was also such a weird choice by Figma... completely killed the line. Revoltech is doing it right by pairing the duelist with their monsters.

It'll never happen but I dream of Halo AY. Spartan as poseable as that AY War Machine would be dope, but I want the Covenant aliens done in full AY engineering glory. Elite that can hit all the poses would be such a treat. I thought Sentinel mentioned doing Elites way back but I'm not sure. Anyways they're not doing anything that crazy with articulation and their armor designs are hurdles on articulation if you want to be accurate. Yamaguchi would just be like "cut apart the chest for butterfly joints and cut the thigh armor for diagonal swivels." I want MC to have 4 human weapons and Elite 4 Covenant weapons that they can both hold.

AY. The first one was nowhere near as good. The big limitation of this guy for me is how he holds his rifle because the butt of it hits up against his forearm. Really do wish we at least got Megatron. Or maybe like they're doing with YGO just making something random from something non G1, like Armada Starscream who'd probably make for a really dynamic figure, and others like that. But of course, if G1 Optimus didn't sell enough, I kind of doubt the chances of others.
>>
>>11034649
If they were to do more they should do the Japanese BW characters. Lio Convoy and Big Convoy highly articulated and using their armaments in crazy poses would've caught people's eyes. G1 Convoy has soooo many alternatives it was a shit choice even among TF.
>>
>>11034679
Possible, and hey, maybe now with their somewhat frequent limited (Japanese) releases, that could be a possibility. Optimus was a regular release back then and they were probably also considering Western sensibilities, so maybe something like you're suggesting with BW Neo could be a possibility. Doubt they revisit, but would be cool.

It's pretty exciting that they're supporting it so much, and also how they're going about supporting it, dipping into 3 different generations before getting to the first.

I kind of think at least 2 heads could have been included with the base figure, but I guess that's how the price is fairly cheap? Just based on the designs, because I haven't seen the series, I don't much care for Eren's look, the other two look somewhat interesting, especially Armored. I'd have to think that the rest will probably just have the one head as well. For Armored his head will probably have the 'masked' head, then the bonus will also be open mouthed.

This, for me at least. The final episode just felt like going through the motions which was ironically unexpected seeing how AoT was consistently a show where you expect the unexpected.

However the author did sneak in some nazi-propaganda but the execution was so cringe (or lost in translation) nobody was offended by it. Pic related.

I'm not feeling it desu. Like the other anon said, it's just a Spidey 2.0 resculpt/retool. The "layered" aesthetics and the sliding pecs work a lot better for clothed characters. Here it's just skin but it looks almost like a skin colored nano suit from Crysis or some armor plates.

Naked man and body suit man is the same figure? No shit! What were you expecting? Male AY have had the same joint scheme since Deadpool 2.0 with alternating shoulder blades methods. He has the same construction as one of the most poseable figure on the market and that's the negative?? What the hell guys.
>>
>>11035422
I'd rather this brand not turn into Marvel Legends or Mafex where every figure looks and feels exactly the same.
>>
>>11035423
You have peak performance (DP 2.0 for male, HQ for female) and then the rest that are inferior, average jointing. You're just noticing this because you see two that both don't have gear covering it all up. So you want less poseable version like the figma archetype body but the AY line sells on articulation.

My only complaint is AY ditched the geo joint knees which are better for posing and perhaps QC. But otherwise why change what works? Because you got bored of it? I really don't get it.

Dude, I've been buying Revoltechs for ages and love the line and Yamaguchi in particular. I also got Monev and all of the old Ultimate Spider-Man figurines.
Don't act like there isn't still room to improve. Whether his ideas were hit or miss, he would often surprise with ingenious designs and not settle on some basic, established setup. I'm not someone who likes to sacrifice articulation for sculpting, but everyone has to admit that the sculpt factors into a figure's appeal.

The chest flaps just don't look as homogenous. I would have liked to see bigger flaps maybe with the whole muscle attach and some sternum-like area beneath. Or more striations/irregular muscle strings to make it look more cohesive - WITHOUT sacrificing mobility. Maybe even improving upon it? Have the chest move back and forth, up and down on a ball joint or something.
>>
>>11035451
>not including them like many figures (ninja gaiden latest)
Huh? Hayabusa has the butterfly joints though. So yeah you want an inferior version, got it. The other way like the pin rotation one still gives a gap and basically does the same thing, move the position of the shoulder joints. Not having them at all you likely end up needing a more exposed shoulder joints to get a decent range. Notice how >>11035451 conveniently covers that up with the cape?
>>
>>11035459
Why haven't you added the slt is a pedophile meme yet, clearly you're the retarded nigger
>>
>>11035463
>still room to improve.
Sure but why would you think that will happen to a Sakamoto sculpted figure? What you're thinking, if I'm imagining the same thing, sounds like it won't move as much as the current method. Or the ball jointed one, now that's the same as all the other collector's figure no? I think the biggest change they can do currently is not have the moving pieces be on the outside, but inside like most butterfly type joints do. Might be less noticeable the sculpt cut line will be smaller and closer to the shoulder area. Chest muscle will have this carved out lines though where the shoulders go in front of. But for the bask side the moving piece could be external, real moving shoulderblades.

I get wanting to see changes but it also has risks like QC greatly suffering or being worse. I think the knees are worse being a big single hinge. But at the same time it is the best articulated body so saying be better also sounds...too privileged?
>>
>>11035471

I doubt it, it's a pretty blank body, but isn't a 'blank' body like the one they have displayed with the accessories. Releasing one of those with probably 3-4 sets of hands (fists, open, gripping and/or gun gripping hand) and release it for probably 4-5k and it'll definitely sell. And if it does well make a female one.
>>
>>11036031
>it'll definitely sell
I don't think Kaiyodo thinks that. Especially for completed figures they are very afraid of releasing no brand stuff. So they use AoT as a safety net. Back when they started Tokusatsu Revoltech, they were having trouble with the Jurassic Park license. They could've released the T-Rex as a generic T-Rex but fought hard to get that JP logo because they thought it wouldn't sell otherwise. And you know they got seriously burned on Assemble Borg, an original IP. Oh and then Revo Geo. All of this is telling them IP matters. They're not taking the risk. Weapons pack at least are cheap to make so be less damaging.
>>
>>11035929
Why? It's fucking BATMAN.I hope it's good (does look good) but I'll be pissed if he does another one.
>>
>>11035971
Don't really care much about the jaw but I get the gripes about the smoke effects. Going for the S1,2 and 3 look is fine too since those are more "iconic", and I bet they're going for those looks for Armored and Female Titan too (and iirc those were the looks that was advertised). Getting this so my Robot Spirits EVA has someone to fight.
>>
>>11036069
>And you know they got seriously burned on Assemble Borg, an original IP.
Is this really the case though? Why would it have had so many waves? Clearly it reached a point where they weren't succeeding, but most everything now at least at retail stores are sold out. The prices eventually became pretty high, especially at the time, so a pricey niche product was never the way to succeed. Regarding AY, the aftermarket on nearly every AY leaps in price aside from a select few like Gwen. Customers, especially nowadays, and especially those intimidated by the prices but are interested in the product, are looking for cheaper alternatives. They just released a ramen based Revoltech, which I guess you could call an IP, but that did well because it was a Revoltech you could buy for 4k yen. An AY blank at that price would definitely be much the same. But like you said, maybe they don't think it'd work.
>>
>>11036150
NTA but I think they're definitely going to sell a proper "blank" AY after a few more weapon/bonus effect part sets. Maybe Eren is to gauge interest? But he also DOES feel like a budget release meant to get people into AY, especially with the general lack of accessories and the lower price tag so it does seem like they're cashing in on the popularity of AoT. Just imagine if they released this when the Final Season hype was in full swing.

But a lot of AB were same parts in different colors with some new unique pieces. It was also mostly sold only through their site, only later having a wider distribution. Also when they started to fail, meaning it probably never had a big enough market. You can call it a success but like a frog in a well does not know the ocean it didn't last in full distribution.

>aftermarket
Pretty much any collectors item though since productions are all so small now unless you 're Bandai. Doesn't really mean anything.

And yeah, comparing a meme Revoltech to a blank isn't the same thing. Price point was low because they know nobody is spending more than that. Even that AY blank because of the number of parts alone wouldn't be that cheap, probably can't get below 6000 yen, and that's if they can make as many as any of the popular IP AY.

>>11036156

I wonder why...to be fair back when Yamaguchi WAS sculpting DC shit they were just perfecting their craft. Look at AY Batman. I honestly think that a large part of the success of recent Marvel AYs like Moon Knight and Agent Venom is that their faces are fully obscured, which gets rid of a large gripe of a lot of collectors which is that AYs have very "anime" looking faces, which tend to make them not fit into other lines.

That is the one bizarre quirk Yamaguchi refuses to let go of for whatever reason. Agent Venom for example has a knee pad design that could easy has a joint put in it without messing with the sculpt but Yamaguchi didn't even do so there.
What makes it extra weird is that older releases like Deathstroke actually had joints for stuff like that.

I have a solution for the kneespikes that I think is doable. With the single hinged knees, you put a middle ring with kneecap/pad sculpted on. When you bend the leg you spin that ring to where the knee is in the center of the leg. 90 degree bend knee the kneecap wil be positioned 45 degree.

Technically all of these Revoltechs should be Japan only, so that sounds like bullshit to me. Like with Ami they don't want to tell you "because we said so, fuck off". The reason say DC AY aren't available at many stores is bad distribution not letting stores gain enough profit selling them. So they just don't buy them. And then why certain countries, shipping rates there are bad and again not profitable?
>>11036500
Flash on Ami was US only or something like that, I remember Canadians couldn't get it.

Doesn't work for AY because of how he sculpts the knee joint. A lot of plastic is removed from the back of the knee to get as tight a bend as possible. The knee ring will have to be very thin which will lead to extra gaping at the front.

However it is a valid solution but seeing how Yamaguchi sculpts in Blender, he might not have the expertise to apply the fix. The knee ring has to to have varying thickness, more in the front, little in the back. You need to be very careful with the measurements of the thigh-knee-shin combo and this is something Blender can't do.

There's also the issues of tolerances as it can lead to paint rub and ruin the whole figure.

I don't get what you mean with the green shaded gap. Easiest would be to have a simple hinge like in the past... but I like this idea.
>>11036340
Just go with Hobby-Genki. Tbh I don't know why anyone would use any other site.
On this note: I'm undecided whether I should get Flash and Reverse-Flash or just one of them. Leaning towards Reverse-Flash.
PSA: I don't care about Flash, but I love the look of these figures. Very toyetic and cool effects that may come in handy with other figures, too. Reverse-Flash seems nicer because his face doesn't look as derpy as Flash's, his color scheme is good. His effects are red and might double as blood effects or just some generic red energy spikes - whereas regular Flash looks nice too with his red costume, but I just wish it was candy/metallic red like Reverse Flash's boots. His yellow effects are also a lot more situational and wouldn't fit a lot of characters.
Any input? Buying both when I'm not really invested in the characters and just buying repaints feels... like a waste.
>>
What does Version 2.5 mean? I might get xforce pool since I already got the first red 2.0 but did they change a lot? I can't see anything different
>>
>>11036621
He uses ZBrush unless he changed that recently. Not sure of the difference between the softwares.
As for gaps, varying thickness, I'm not saying "just put a ring on it", on the existing sculpts, but rework the knee with the idea. So It works and looks okay with a circular shape. It can't be impossible surely. As for friction, yeah I hear you I thought about that too. I can only think of having enough space to not be a problem and not painting the sides or the ring piece.

Like this is totally personal preference I know. But instead he was same colors but slight changes like the backwards logo, different eyes, but pointy feet and claws. Something like the Nise-Ultraman approach where he pretends he's the Flash and do bad shit to ruin him. I'm sure that must have happened in the comics. But I prefer that to be the default.

how do they look cool? They look painfully off putting, like the shin bone has been broken and is poking out of the knee cap. I actually find it hard to look at without wincing.
It's a shame, because otherwise I really like ay articulation. This style only works when it is the top of a boot, not flesh.
>>
>>11037030

>>
>>11037026
>>11037020
It's hard to describe exactly. Not shiny, not glossy(candy), definitely not metallic. Not matte either. I would say a slight pearl red if that makes sense. There is some reflective effect going on.
>>
>>11037017
I just accept them like they are part of the suit design. In this case of a giant naked man though, I have to think as they are hardened knee spikes, one of the titans physical feature. As to why I think it's decided they aren't a big deal. If it was they'd change by now. Same with knee padded characters. Not making them jointed is a constant money saver.
>>
Since Flash sales was good enough to warrant a reissue (or they underestimated the demand the first time) is there a chance for AY to work through the JL members? (fat chance when they haven't done some type of Avengers team) If so then who? What Gunn will do will probably influence the potential AY. Like having Hawkgril might mean more of that cartoon members.

Yamaguchi still hasn't stopped, so it's almost certainly not a mistake, it seems like it's a personal flair that he likes doing. What we can hope for nowadays are Aquaman, Blue Beetle, Shazam, Black Adam, maybe Peacemaker and Bloodsport too. For sure we're getting a 1.5 of Batman and Superman as their movies come out.
>>
>>11037123
Why would the bother with the failed films though? Aquaman made money but seeing how AY skipped and went to Flash movie cast (Flash Supergirl and new Batman, game but still Batman) I think they're done with them.

Batman might just get a full 2.0 comic version. Superman I can see KAZU doing the cape back piece since it's detachable. Drop the plastic cape and include more heads and hands that can be the 1.5. Besides that I think it depends on the Gunn films.

The one annoying thing about AY Flash is that it really shows off all the bad things about 2.0 Spider-Man. The proportions are overall better like the abdomen and legs. And the neck and torso can move further forward than Spider-Man. Just figure these out before finishing Spidey you know?
>>

>>
>>11037397
Spidey is like THE acrobatic guy. I'm guessing a 3.0 is coming some time in the future, with even better engineering than Flash. He had to come out at some point, so either we accept that he's a fixed point in time and that's ok, or we need to tell Yamaguchi to stop improving, so that there can never be anything better than Spidey.

Eh it's just a shame 2.0 turned out the way it did. I don't even care about the ANAD suit but I understand why many do. And the issues are something prior releases didn't even have so what it's some random oversight? Maybe it was during Yamaguchi's back pain days and he wasn't fully focused.

I think they might do Miles before another go on a bland regular Spidey again. But the next Tom Holland film at least will have the classic style costume so that might make Kaiyodo take action. But the 2.0 isn't that different visually. Yeah there needs to be a crucial update in engineering first for a 3.0.

How do knee spikes give better range?
>>
>>11037644
>>11037650
It's not about the range, but how natural the shape of the bent leg looks like with the single joint knee and the shin joint. Knee spike is unfortunate side effect of needing to have the knee sculpted there in the straight position. They gave up on making that part move so only solution to keep this joint setup is have the kneecap unrealistically stay on the thigh half, break the kneecap in half or not have kneecaps at all. The pants leg AY like Joker and Aizawa don't have this problem.

Double joints always looks like the leg is broken in two. The AY method is still double jointed legs but hides it well being further in the shins.

>>11037628
There you see how >>11037665 the overall shape of the leg looks like what a person leg looks bent. Just think of the spike as the costume design like the knee armor of Venom.

If you try to get the same range with double joints you have to make the distance between the two hinges longer, giving that square shape bent leg. Humans aren't robots.

Anyone else think a 1.5 Wolverine will be announced in July? No real basis other than tie-in to the movie. I wonder what else he could include, assuming it wouldn't be a straight reissue.
>>
>>11038213
Hoping for a 2.0 desu. Would like him/Cap/Venom without the old clicky revo joint for the torso. Those torso joints’ pegs were always loose for me and i had to put pieces of paper or plastic in them for extra friction. Was pretty inconvenient
>>
>>11038228
A 2.0 would be cool but the first Wolverine is probably in my ideal costume, so I probably wouldn't want that to change. I'd think in a 1.5 they could change up the joints a bit though, doesn't have to only be different accessories.
>>
File: x_is12882_j.jpg (65 KB, 1000x750)

>>11038213
Maybe. Also the last reissue they did might make them think there isn't enough demand yet. I think mask off head is a must for a 1.5 along with more expressions. Different claws maybe, bone ones, middle only, and then a half claws with like impact effect or blood effect on the tip so when touching against another figure it looks like they are getting stabbed or sliced through.

>>11038305
They can't do much more with the joints. Shoulders don't have the same type in Geo Joints. And the torso joints needs to be a Revolver Joint because of the peg holes being hard plastic there.

2.0 can still be the same costume.Deadpool was. Also I think the strongest possibility for a different look for Wolverine is Logan in regular clothing.
>>
>>11038382
>And the torso joints needs to be a Revolver Joint because of the peg holes being hard plastic there.
I think the implication was more that it could be a 1.5 with a new torso, for example. And sure if you have issues with the arms then replace the shoulder part too.
>>
>>11038438
0.5's don't do that sort of thing. They might as well redo the whole body and be a 2.0.
>>
>>11038497
>0.5's don't do that sort of thing.
Ya but nothing says they can't. This 1.5 thing is new anyways, just with Joker and now DP, so no real reason it can't also be improvements. It's kind of a slap to the face to earlier buyers, perhaps. 2.0 is fine, but for such an early release Wolverine is honestly really damn good.
>>
>>11038382
I would have thought x-forxe wolverine to match deadpool.

You can also do the brown outfit.
>>
>>11038628
>just with Joker and now DP,
And 3 Toy Story Revos. If you don't understand the business model by now just don't bother.

The most these .5 do is add new heads/faces. Changing more involves a lot of new molds. That kind of defeats the purpose of saving money with reissue. What is wanted for Wolverine, you need to change the chest piece, 2 upper arm pieces, abdomen piece, and hip piece but maybe just the internal piece. That is like half the AY. With that much extra cost making a new AY from start is beneficial compared to saving money with just an reissue.

This is what the 1.5 and 2.5 are doing. This is the reason
>>
>>11038633
>brown outfit.
>old, classical looks
Yeah never happening like that when new one exists. X-Force repaint would have happened already and no reason to make a new sculpt. DP X-Force suit isn't that new one anyways. Not sure that exists in the comics but figure makers sure loves just repainting the Now suit.

guys need help.
Is 150 bucks for brand new moon knight a good price? I know It's not but it is possible to get a cheaper one fast?

If you can get a new one from a reputable seller, I say go for it. He's sold out everywhere and I don't think he's getting a reissue any time soon. I honestly didn't know Moon Knight was that popular.

I don't think he's popular. I think it was a test for capes for the most part and was a cheaper character to make with simple paintjob and accessories. And I read a while ago in an interview with the AY supervisor that one of his favorite character was Moon Knight. He might've been with Kenelephant I don't know how it all worked back then but I like to think just before they cut ties with Kaiyodo he made his wish come true lol.

And selling out doesn't mean it was a popular character either. They rarely make in excess anymore. Being available might mean that they actually made more than what was preordered because of popularity. Then disappearing soon after sounds like it was a good seller.

He's not getting reissued. Is MK even coming back in MCU besides maybe in Secret Wars cameo?
