I've been reading Guyver recently since it's talked about here because the figma turned out really good and it turns out that those Mako monsters are based on Guyver's Zoanoids. I never seen this ever discussed or mentioned, probably because it's such an old franchise and funnily enough the actual name for the mako monsters is Makonoids. Guyver also has a lot of bioengineering and stuff and you can clearly see the inspirations FF7 took from it (after like 30 chapters of old school monster of the week stuff).

They are heeereee!I also got a preorder on the ff16 ifrit! Today is a good day. Here's a quick pic of the ff9 stuff so far. It's my way of coping for missing the preorders for ff7 so I gotta wait for 2nd wave stuff now and might have to pay sqenix store price for red and barret later this year but oh well at least I get every ff7 figure eventually unlike with ff9... honestly they are fucking AMAZING. They look and feel nice. Come with tons of stuff and faces and are just beatiful. I will pay giga rape prices for the other two bundles if I can find them next year or so after all preorders roll out. Though I hope & pray for a rerelease until then (they won't).
