>>11134722I think it's a bit too abstract of a theme that tries to be everything rather than focus on a thematic brand. It's Ninja-esque but the theme has cars, mechs, jets, pirate ships, fantasy creatures, castles, modern cities, etc. I also like when sets use more neutral colour palettes that make for easy modification and creation into other things. Nexoknights was particularly terrible for this. I can see why kids are drawn to it and it's a good bit of creativity which Lego is about, but it's just something I never really got into. I really like sets like Destiny's Bounty, but I'd rather have a more dialed-back Barracuda Bay that better fits my vision of Lego from my childhood.

Although I have personally seen more structurally sound colored heels crack. Best to display minifigures on picrel if you care about that sort of thing.

I got that space age thing a while ago since it was on steep clearance and ultimately tore it apart since it wasn't that interesting to build or look at, but while doing so I was reminded of these pieces in the back. I don't think they even did anything for the build other than be a bit of weight for the top half and when I looked it up online it's literally only being used in other "art" builds, presumably for the same purpose.
