Finally got in my Teegra.Mixed reception. Some parts are great some less so. Her hip and diaphragm joints are ROCK solid, very sturdy, tight joints that can hold some serious weight. The shoulders are also solid, they have a very unique shape to them that makes them fit super snug, never seen anything like it before.Her feet and wrists on the other hand are dainty to the point i'm scared of being too rough with them. The knees and ankles have some slight flop to them, especially when you hyper extend the legs wich makes her harder to balance.The hair really impedes movement of her head in both options.The colour choice for the bodyblushing looks a bit odd imo. But I've never been a fan of drybrushing or highlighting and prefer solid unicolor plastic unless it's a very dark or weathered part.So yeah, overall, unless you really like frazetta and this western style of barbarian cheesecake it's not an easy recommend. But I don't regret getting her.For a first female figure I can see some future improvement. But I'd wish they'd size them up just a tad or made the wrists/ankles a bit thicker. This feels both a bit quick and dirty as well as incredibly ambitious.

Recently I've come to terms with Aileens wrist pegs. They suck,but after some fiddling around they're decent. You gotta make sure that the cuffs are further up (they're removable fyi) and then the range is perfectly fine. They're also quite sturdy and split before breaking, so that's "nice".Just a stupid decision to have ridges on both ends. I'm thinking of cutting them off for the pegs that go into the hands. Shortstack-anon again. Been doing some thinking re: achieving my goal of 99% printable figures and I realize it IS achievable, but I'm gonna have to approach articulation differently. My research/conversations with friends has lead me to understand that straight "clones" of Hobby Base/Figma style joints, even with FDM, simply won't work. However, between the fact FDM has come on leaps and bounds recently (need one of those fancy Bambu machines) and also how good some of Resione's newer engineering resins are, I am confident I can make it work if I'm clever. I need to get some of Resione's Tough 74; it's currently not available in white, which is annoying, but I think it's worth getting the grey to experiment with. I can at least paint figures if necessary, as annoying as it is, and everything I've seen suggests it's perfect for my needs.In other news, I had an idea for a custom I wanna do, which if I can make it work as a fully printable figure I'll make available- Fatsune Miku.
