>all those g-reco mobile suits that will never get a release
>>11186019>Getting shot by the foot instead of squishedGotta suck
>>11186038>Never gets a model kit or RD
>>11186013This technically counts right?
>>11186252oh you actually got those? honestly, I wouldn't unless they were like half their price at least in a sale or something
>>11186256They 200% arent worth it at the price but ive accepted that this is the pbandai normal price youll pay.Do i regret it? No but i can admit it is a fucking ripoff like all current bandai price points as of late.
>>11186256I want UC pilot figuarts badly but I still won't buy those. It's not even because it's Seed, it's because they look fucking awful. The Guel figuart is looking good though.
>>11186289I honestly can't understand why there isn't SHF figures of CCA Amuro and Char Quattro too
>>11186304its strange, they sell statues of the pilots, there is clearly an audience for the main characters at leasti think the sales of the g gundam ones really just scared them off it; did the seed ones sell better?
Are the Moshow Progenitor Effect figures any good?
>>11186693I have only lancelot. He's very cool, lots of details, good paintjob. They're fucking massive though.
>>11186693Yes, they are WAY better than metal builds
>>11186289Yeah I'd pick up some UC pilots for sure, and honestly probably an pilot from any series I give a decent enough shits about. I do have the Guel on pre-order and am pretty excited for him. Suletta and Miorine weren't too bad either, but I don't think the baggy elbows were as good as they could have been.
>>11186705Yeah. I saw that there’s a gold one that’s a Wonderfest exclusive and I’m thinking of ordering it.
RD Gogg on sale for 35 bucks (deal 66% claimed):https://www.amazon.com/TAMASHII-NATIONS-Mobile-N-I-M-Spirits/dp/B0C7BFKD6GI'm also seeing an additional 10% off coupon you can apply on the product page; great deal at that price!>>11186693>>11186998Another vote for the Moshows! I've got two, Wucheng and Lancelot, and they're both very nice figures.
>>11186252Totally counts! Get some shots of 'em with an RD or MB! >>11186340You'd think they'd at least do Char given his massive popularity (how long has it been since they showed the prototype SHF Char, ten years?), but at least he gets some rad statues...
>>11187034>Totally counts! Get some shots of 'em with an RD or MB!I'll do it when the MB WoL comes in. Seeyou in 6 months.
>>11187030Now that's what I calla Gogg Deal. Thanks for the tip anon.
>>11186693>>11186998They're amazing, especially for their low asking price. Big, heavy toys with nice paint jobs, loaded with accessories and gimmicks. There are some downsides to the line. They do take up a lot of space and they like releasing event exclusive repaints. They've also recently started releasing a 1/100 scale version of the line that's even more affordable and with a wider variety of designs already teased for it.
short video showing Moshow's latest stuff:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkZhcEVPgBsthe gold lancelot looks SUPER tacky
>>11189496This maybe my first moshow. And yes that lancelot does look like ass.
>>11189496>sesame street mechaswait wat
>>11189507>>11189496Ryouma: Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, let's go!All:OK, Ryouma!All:Sesame...Sunshine...SPARKLER!
>>11189507Honestly the most interesting thing on display in that video.
>>11189502This looks pretty good. Bootleg gravion?
>>11189496>the gold lancelot looks SUPER tackyThey all look tacky as shit, generic uninspired Chinesium designs like all the trash gacha they keep shitting out.
Are there any good RX-78 figures with the slim Yasuhiko style proportions?I saw this custom gunpla WIP on twitter and thought the idea was so cool.
>>11190096
>>11190096There was a banpresto SCM Ex prize figure with proportions like this. But it came out a really long time ago at this point, back when MSIA was still around.
>>11190096>>11190535I own some of those and they're cool as hell. Pretty expensive/rare these days though.
>>11190096Maybe unrelated, but I always thought the 0 Gundam is the perfect modern interpretation of the RX-78 without going overboard.
>>11190546the extra antennas mounted on the torso are a bit overboard
I did an incredible dumb and bought another cannon fodder yamato VF-1A.If anyone wants to jump on a cannon fodder 1J, there's one on Mandarake again.
Will they never reprint the Stark Jegan? I bought one when it came out but was hurting for cash so I sold it and I've regretted it ever since.
Got a question, do any of these guys transform? I know Gundam has the Zeta gundam with its waverider form, but do any of this line have something like that?
>>11191263In RD?I think Seed's Aegis Gundam implements its transformation, but honestly if you want transforming stuff I'd rather shill Macross' offerings over in the Chogokin DX line.
>>11191263Ghost/Phantom Gundam transform
>>11186304I've been asking for a SHF line of UC pilots for more than ten years. After the massive fiasco of the MegaHouse 1/18 Amuro & Char (which I own), I'm convinced it'll never happen.Btw does anyone knows the ACTUAL release date of pic related? It's a new line from CCSToys and every site has an october release; I need a more exact date since I asked a friend living in Japan to buy it (he's visiting soon).
>>11192935>It's a new line from CCSToys and every site has an october releasProbably LATE OCT than.See, im waiting for this which also said OCT on sites but im uh no sure since others says otherwise.
>>11192957Oh nm. apparently this came out a few days ago.
>>11192935This is cool, and the clothes look reasonably high quality, but it's just not as cool as the sculpted clothes on the 4 Inch Nel to me. It just looks more raw and dynamic, I really like it.
>>11192935It's a chinese product, there's absolutely no reason to buy it from Japan, they're always the last one to get the chinese stuff. Honestly, you'll be lucky if it releases there in 2024.
Continuing adventures of a guy buying way too many Yamato VF figures:I bought an old Hikaru 1S to use as a donor figure for the weathered Focker 1S.It turns out that Yamato applied the weathering spray treatment whatever they did even to barely seen parts like the shoulder hinge turntable so Focker has a clean shoulder while the broken one given to the Hikaru is oddly smoky looking. Still, I've come out of this with the rare instance of a fully functional (for the time being) weathering version DYRL 1S Focker. Can't wait to tear the other arm off inadvertently, rainbow canopy Fockers are from that supremely cursed era of Yammie Valkyrie figures. Next step is growing a pair and applying some decals to the weathering version fast packs so they at least have proper Skull livery. I think they included water slides with the weathering versions, too, so it's not just decade+ old stickers.
>>11189502I don't know what the fuck this is but hot damn any Brave style super robot gets my blood pumpin! I need this!
>>11186013Does anyone here own Hanged Man AC 5 Chogokin?Kinda thinking of getting one, any thoughts about it?How is the figure in general? How are the joints now?Any nitpicks or issues?
>>11200048
>>11200048Kinda jank, mine has some broken hinges and parts falling off that really shouldn't, and I've accidentally twisted one of the hard plastic fins that you can install in place of the soft plastic ones so if you don't like easily damaged small plastic bits that's something to be aware of...Essentially, if you go looking for one, don't be surprised if it turns into a fixer upper project. I think Vengeance/UCR is more consistently playable out of box but Hanged Man was a cool look at what could've been if the line were given more attention. I don't necessarily regret hunting one down, but mine stays in its box for good, which by the way that box also was falling apart when I got it, as in the glue holding certain flaps together gave up so even the box is in a constant state of trying to disassemble itself into a single sheet. I guess I'd recommend if you can guarantee one that's in good condition, though.
>>11200207What hinges are broken or tend to be so?And what fin do you mean? Maybe you could mark the problematic spots using the picture?
>>11200837It'd probably be better if I dig mine out of the closet and get some pics, at least one of the scuffed hinges is a concealed ab crunch hinge at the waist for example.
Ayre was delivered today. I opened the box just to check the figure, disappointed it doesn't come with a stand. I now have 3 robot figures in their cardboard coffin waiting to be let out. Never thought I'd have a backlog of figures
>>11201078Don't be a broke nigga, buy Act 5 Stands, they are dirt cheap and decent for big mechs
>>11201412>dirt cheapThat's assuming I can find one within my country. I'm not going to import and pay fees out of the ass for a stand. Might be able to just use a gunpla base
>>11201464Just add it to your existing order on AmiAmi or any other website with stock of these, duh.
>>11201479>amiami having stock of item that is almost a decade oldI'll check hlj, I have some stuff in december
>>11201493Use their gunpla stands. They reprint those all year every year.
>>11201493They retired the Act 5 label and sell them as Act Mechanics now, they're a 2 pack instead of a 3 pack. They reprint them maybe every other year. I tend to buy a bunch every reprint just so I don't have to worry about not having any on hand. >>11201464If there's any kind of official Bandai distribution in your country, they probably bring Act Mechanics over as well.
>>11201577There is an official tamashii shop I didn't think about, but it doesn't have that one base. I have some gunpla action bases 2 I bought for HGs but they're not clear and I don't really like them. They're available on hlj so I'll get some there, and let them sit in the warehouse until december
Yeah yeah Destiny and Strike Freedom reissue but LETS FUCKING GOOOO
>>11202062It's crazy that we now have 3 different MB Destiny Gundams. That movie really upped Shinn stocks. Also hell yes to the Legend Gundam. But now I'm kinda annoyed that they're re-releasing the SF because it's so close to the SF Type II release.
>>11202083The reissue is for MRDs not MBs
>>11202092I gave up correcting people.
>>11202092>>11202097No I was aware it was an MRD, that's why I brought up the SF type II, my brain is just fried and I made a typo
>>11200906Pics, pleeeeeeaaase?
>>11202438It's gonna be a bit of a cunt for some of this, I don't even remember which parts I glued down it was a year or two ago that I last dug this up.Anyway, ab crunch hinge. There's a split here, creates an overall wobbly feeling in the waist area.
>>11202988Then there's these front fins. A pair of soft plastic versions come pre-installed but there's a pair taped in that's hard plastic. It's really easy to bash into these fins and twist them. They're very thin plastic fins, so with the hard plastic you can very easily shear one off.
I have 2 revoltech weapon sets coming on monday. I bought them despite having no revoltech figures other than eva unit 13. Hopefully they'll fit ayre and other stuff
https://hacchaka.net/archives/52114181.html
>>11205895>>11205891>>11205888Gaaaaaaaaay
>>11206024
>>11192935Headsup. Ryouma came out and I lold when i found out he came with a spring loaded revolver. Also anon who bought ccs eva, how long did it take for your shit to ship after release?
Someone's been liquidating their yammie collection on Mandarake.Would you believe me if I told you both of these Max 1As had perfect shoulder hinges out of box?
>>11208825It helps to include the photo, derp.
Strangely this version of the Lancelot Zero has a new head
>22kGself is one of my favorites but CALM THE FUCK DOWN>>11210413I was tempted to get it but the closer look at the crown makes me not a fan, specially at 38.5k
>>11210453>>11210413Oh the crown is removable, now im a tad more inclined.
>>11210453Oddly they knocked it down to $180 on US Pbandai, guess they’re being a bit more forgiving on the conversion for some reason?
>>11210570It's still going to be about 210 if I buy from there sadly due to shipping+tax.
>>11210584Yeah, shame Bandai refuses to live in reality. Wonder why even bothered to knock the price down at all, maybe worried G-Reco merch won’t sell well if it was what they usually convert to?
>>11210453I was expecting 25k+ so this seems... not bad? I'll still pass on it I think, somewhere around 18k I stopped being able to pull the trigger on MRDs.
>>11210763Why are MRD so expensive? I keep looking at them and they seem like a half-measure between RD and Chogokin, but the price is somehow close to that of a Chogokin while being as big as a RD. That just seems to me like it gained the weaknesses of both.
>>11208828Pretty planes. I hope Threezero does the blue..I don't wanna get into yet another line
>>11210851Oh they'll surely cover the TV lineup.Thing is, I'm a big fan of Max's livery from Do You Remember Love, Skull pattern with blue trim is a really good look but no one has shown any interest in doing anything that isn't either Hikaru's or Roy's 1S.And it's doubly infuriating because Max flies a 1S briefly in DYRL and Yamato did in fact issue a 1S for him but Arcadia hasn't done one, the cowards. Literally the easiest color swap to do for them too...
>>11210882>Max's livery from Do You Remember LoveMan, why did you have to remind me of that beautiful deco, I would buy it from any company. I am all in on the ThreeZeros though, I need whatever one's they make. It's just such a neat hefty toy.
>>11210882>>11210921It even has all the holes need to make the Super Valkyrie, I hope they do add on packs at some point.
>>11210811Who knows? They felt way more worth it when they were about 10-12k, and I think the really early releases went for less than that as well. Maybe as Robot Spirits standard prices are creeping up, they want to keep the gap between the lines? But even the standard RD prices is around 9k, and MRDs are over double that now. They're nice but not that nice.
>>11210922>>11210921The part that peeves me off is that for Arcadia, a single swap of paint (and, ok, some blue plastic for certain parts) would cover conversion to Max's 1S, and I guess there aren't enough Max fans out there to care he briefly flew one in DYRL to justify the additional variant? But the real worst thing about Yamcadias right now is that you are fucked if you're looking for a Hikaru 1A. I'm pretty much perpetually glued to Mandarake in hopes of spotting one, even if it means having to do shoulder surgery to bring one up to usable standards.
I was considering picking up the SOC Tryon the last few days as there are still open orders on a few sites but man, those promo pics were a complete lie. Looks like most of the figure isn’t even painted. Looks very half-assed. I don’t understand why they didn’t just go with the cartoon colors if they were going to go this route, at least then it looking kind of cheap would be expected. Bandai continues to disappoint when it comes to their high end figures. I’m really glad I passed now.
>>11211075
>>11210882>And it's doubly infuriating because Max flies a 1S briefly in DYRLI'm amazed Bandai still haven't done a HMR version of that or his and Kakizaki's 1A's, maybe they're holding off to keep interspersing VF-1's with newer Valkyries as there's less repaint potential for almost everything else, keep the SDF/DYRL stuff slow but consistent to help bankroll anything that might be less popular.
>>11211302Well Bandai has definitely teased DXChogokins of the full movie Skulls, and they've had their toes in the water for a while thanks to making swappable roundels for Max and Kak movie type super parts, but those had their production run years ago with nothing to show for it unless you took your chances with the decal sheet from Kak's 1A and made some custom alters to rep Hikaru and Max.Which, yknow, it's not totally impossible, but it is goddamn annoying how slowly Bandai rolls things out.
>buy a Yammie v2 1/60 VF-1A mass production type from Mandarake>price is like 17k yen or something>they delivered me a 1J mass production type instead>the 1J mass production type is like 45k yenSucks for whoever got the 1A thinking they were getting a 1J but fuck you that's Mandarake's problem now!
>>11211397Also, Anymoon can suck it.Kakizaki -totally- flies a cannon fodder 1A. You just gotta head swap the cannon fodder 1J with his 1A's head, lol.I'm positive Yamato color matched the 1J mass production to Kak's TV 1A so that with just a small bit of additional white on the chest, customizers could give him a themed 1J like what Max gets in the imaginary world where Kak doesn't die.
>>11205888>>11205891>>11205895Looks great, mine is on the way. I hope we get another Zeta ANIME pre order announcement before the end of the year. A Titans MS would be great, like the Asshimar or Gaplant.
who's getting this mech sesame street set?
>>11211702It's not for me, but it's kind of curious that things like this get greenlit in the first place. I wonder who the target audience is.
What a display, goddamn.Don’t recommend using the WoL long-term since there’s no room for the clear support parts but otherwise it’s pretty awesome.
https://hacchaka.net/archives/52114312.html
https://hacchaka.net/archives/52114351.html
This thing looks fucking incredible, I don't know why the regular Albion didn't do this for me, but I really want this guy. Will this be on p-bandai for the US or will it go on Amazon?I currently see it on Kurama toys for $300, but that site seems sketchy.
>>11213340Kurama is legit. I tell that to people everytime they ask about it and noone that i told about it had any issue with it so far.
>>11213413Do they ship out fast?
>>11213431Usually a week or so after they get it in i think.
>>11213242>>11213243>>11213245This MS shelfwarmed hard when it was a $15 HG. Why did Bandai think a $65 version would do any better?
>>11213711it was a p.bandai, they were well aware it would shelfwarm otherwise it would have been retail
>>11213711Just means it's going to climb to stupid prices on the aftermarket in a few years.
You guys have any recommendations for glass display cases?I'm looking for something vertical
>>11215243Whatever Ikea replaced the Detolf with is going to give you the most space to cost ratio.
>>11215243You can still get detolf depending on where you live
>>11215243check facebook marketplace if you want a detolf, they pop up for 80ish from time to time. Anything new and cheap, there's some detolf-likes around but theyre 150+. Personally I've been looking around for very large display cases, I like some options from Dawson Jones in Georgia, pretty decent prices for large glass display cases but shipping is expensive of course.
>>11205888Mine's still in my HLJ warehouse, but it looks good.
SUKAIGURASUPA!!!
>>11218118That effect part is so fucking sick they found a way to do that halo animation effect from boosts.
>>11218121Was kinda hoping they would do this with the base Strike-E but oh well.
>>11218121It should have been Strike Rouge. They are going to milk the fuck out of this aren't they.
>>11218118Not pbandai? Odd.
