-Horrible QC
-Way overpriced
-CG renders dont match final product
-mock customer feedback
-have failed to produce ONE solid figure
-BIZARRE decisions on all fronts: design, marketing, manufacture
-Somehow still in business despite widespread and inconsistent hate of their products.

Dudes, I used to lick Brians balls but the new godzilla ‘deluxe’ line broke me. This line has got to be the shittiest marketing move in the history of toys. I’ve yet to find a single genuine S7 fan that is not a shill.

If Ana Kasparian can leave the woketards, I can also leave Super7. Bye and fuck you Flynn.

Friend of mine bought their Alice and she was bitterly disappointed with her. Definitely best avoided.
>>
>>11191782
I hate how they're gimmick is basically
>remember those cheap ass toys you used to have as a kid?!
But they cost fucking 10x that and lack the soul? Like the fact that they put in the effort but "INTENTIONALLY" half ass it makes it less charming than some Chinese company ACTUALLY half assing it.
>>
>>11191806
Its really puzzling considering they have the money and technology to improve basic QC and create a decent figure.i just don’t understand their retardation.
>>
>>11191782
>have failed to produce ONE solid figure
This is untrue. They’ve made at least a handful. Their Slithe for example is objectively pretty great. I finally got their triceraton after a fucking 2 year wait and he is good too. The problem is for every one of those they make maybe 20 bad figures. They routinely seem to fuck up the core cast of whatever property they are working on and instead go all out on tertiary characters like those two.
>>
>>11191782
The main issue is the price, the figures are WAAAAAAY too expensive for why’s they are. They should be more like $30-$40 max, yet they run more like $50-$60. They’re company is based in San Francisco, which is one of the worst locations for a business with high cost of living and taxes, so I can only imagine a lot of it is to prop up their lifestyles. They should rethink a lot of their business practices if they want to survive, because honestly I’m even surprised they haven’t gone bankrupt yet.
>>
>>11191832
>They’re company is based in San Francisco
I'm sure the extra $20 per figure they charge goes directly towards paying the rent on their hipster store in San Francisco.
>>
>>11191782
The Super7 pill, not even once.
>>
>>11191818
>The problem is for every one of those they make maybe 20 bad figures.

Thats the weird thing, the ratio of decent figs to bad ones hints of this company serving another agenda. Not even Hasblow has that shitty track record.
>>
>>11191832
>The main issue is the price, the figures are WAAAAAAY too expensive for why’s they are.
This. I have had several moments where I go to buy a Reaction figure, see the $20 price, and immediately return it to the peg. $20 is ridiculous. They should be closer to $7.
>>
>>11191818
I cant speak for that figure but even their “best work” have one or more flaws that destroy their reputation, for instance their turtles figures. Their supposed crowning jewel are riddled with loose joints or shitty gimmicks (i.e. the “light piping” metalhead head is next to useless). I just don’t understand why they’re still in business. Here In thought they were here to save us from BREAKKA but it looks they’re going hand in hand with shitty QC.

Apologize
>>
Any if you fuckers got these? Very tempting but given its…well super7 Ill pass.
>>
>>11192251
I'm sorry, vomit-goji. You were actually kind of neat.
>>
Never done ultimates, but I like plenty of their reaction stuff. The worst, some of the Godzilla stuff, dinosaurs attacks, the pre code horror, mars attacks, phantom starkiller, the original alien figs.. there's a lot of fun stuff.
>>
>>11193014
If you really want shitty PR toys, at least save yourself some money and go grab some lightning collection figures from Big Lots.
>>
I understand its"based" to hate some companies but I don't give a shit. If the thing looks kool, I buy it. I got the junkyard dog ultimate and its a great figure. I've been tempted to pickup wingnut and the new triceraton. Any opinions on these last two?

Why is the white ranger silver? Are they retarded? Couldn't just do a pearlescent white?
>>
>>11194051
haha he finally got a decent bait in holy shit. Now I have to look it up because I know this fucker is mad about this; either that, or he'll shill it as charming and NOT OVERPRICED because he has more money than god for whatever reason

*bells chime in the distance*
>>
>>11192251
I don’t care for any of the neca Godzillas. Especially this one. It insists upon itself.
>>
yeah i'm thinking you should just stick with some G.I Joe
>>
>>11194087
False. Note how I said that I USED TO be a s7 sucker, now Ive turned on them. the Retriblasting faggot has never been a fan to begin with.

>>11193851
If indeed that figure is good as you say, then their ratio or good figs to appalling figures is atricious. So with that track record it hints of something else going on. No company that claims to be small can survive on that track record.

>>11193785
Reaction figs are horribly overpriced though.

>>11194062
Its a variant of the metallic 90’s bandai figs:
>>
I've noticed a pattern where, when you have a woke creator/business owner, they usually have this attitude of "I'm putting in effort and trying my best!" and they're bitterly angry at anyone who doesn't put protecting their feelings before the fact that they're not delivering a good product. When you're in a hugbox, anyone outside of it is a mean person. It can't be that people are giving fair complaints and criticisms, they're just "hateful" or "don't get it".

>>11191802
I think Alice might be their worst release, I couldn't believe how bad it was.
>>
Hm. Pity, I was kinda looking forward to Deluxe TMNT toys.
>>
>>11191782
>BAF buidling
That'll be $70
>>
>>11191782
>mock customer feedback
When have they done that? Not doubting it, just curious.
>>
My target had a bunch of the thundercats toys. I was gonna get lion-o then I looked at the price. They were all gone next week, including bad guy. Maybe some scalper bought them up?
>>
>>11193014
honestly, i like the proportions for these figures.

I like how smooth the figures look, Hasbro made the costumes took too loose fitting.
>>
>>11191806
This is really close to my thoughts on their gi joe o ring figures, yeah, they look like the og figures but they are missing something. Too shiny maybe? Idk, its intangible but there all the same.
>>
>>11191832
Theyve always been there though, even when they were a magazine but even the mag was expensive then. They really should reprint those issues.

Whatever happened to their SpongeBob line? They were actually pretty good figures and probably the best SpongeBob figures we have…
>>
>>11200298
Same thing that seems to have happened to all their lines; they've slowed to a halt. I think they've damaged their reputation enough its difficult for their preorder model to keep working, its why they're so focused on getting shit into retail stores now.
>>
>>11200298
Millenials and older Zoomers who would have bought them looked at the $55 price tag and laughed at them

It'll be a while before I get the triceraton in hand, but honestly, wingnut is pretty good.

Chonky as hell, and I thought he'd be on the shelf in his original bulgy eyes and robo wings, but I liked the full batman squint/cape combo in hand. Articulation isn't the best but he's too heavy for more dynamic poses anyway.

Screwloose is ok, I feel like he would have benefited from an alternate head with the modern / batman-styled expression, or a few alternate arms since they don't articulate in the elbow and wrists..
>>
>>11200582
Thanks. I'm gonna pick him and the triceraton up. My shelves are full of more "realistic" creature designs, so these stylized bright colored things are appealing.
>>
>>11191782
I thought you were complaining about modern monsterarts at first because most of these apply to that line too.
>>
>>11192251
Its a shame. They had a rocky start, but were starting to find their way with the line. Then Bandai fucks them over the same way Playmates did for years.
