>Wu releasing tons of Micromaster scale figures
>their titan chibis are too small to be actual base modes for them
>best option are still the WFC modulators that have been out of production for years with 2 molds and a few compatible leader classes
>ramp system discontinued, almost as short lived at the Titans Return connecting bases which are also incompatible with the modulators
>3rd party baseformers few and far between besides downsize KOs of the usual titans. grandus and garry never.

Gebuinely makes me sad how underloved MM scale is as a concept. At least Wu was able to get people on board with it at all

That would be a lot of fun, those micromaster combiners had a lot of charm. I know Evan on the Hasbro team's white whale is doing a generations Landcross, and I think that'd be really cool too. Maybe one day.

For me, I'd love for Perfect Effect to come back and make more of their Beast Wars figures. Their Optimal Optimus is definitely clunky, but it works well enough. Meanwhile their TM2 Megatron is still something to behold to this day. If we got a Rampage or a Ravage in that style, I would ejaculate to the point where my body resembles a used tube of toothpaste.

Legends scale versions of Optimus (and other bots) that isn't G1 or Bumblebee Movie. There are so many continuities why the hell do I need 30 versions of G1 and Bumblebee. What about Armada, or Prime or Energon or FoC, etc.

Bayverse is finally getting that one made by Bailan, (although the way it is going I might be on my deathbed of old age and they are still presenting a new prototype) Galaxy has that hybrid style that had QC issues and costs a fortune nowadays, Bayverse knight has the non transformable from Gcreations, IDW had that super limited version and there was the IF one that now cost a fortune, but if you want other versions at legends, well, good luck. Some Deluxes might fit the size but you get the Hasbro hollowness.

Just bought these two. I was waiting to see how the SS86 Constructicons look before committing to Mecha Invasion, but they're just too simplistic and small for my taste.
I also preordered Hook and Bonecrusher, but do we know if they will stay as singles or will they also become two-packs?

I'm still deciding if I want to buy it and the Overload. Those are by the same maker as this 3D printed Tidalwave armor so they should be tough enough, but unlike Tidalwave they have what seem like plain friction hinges.

UT ranting about being KOed and disrespected by Buddhists
https://weibo.com/2048749371/ODLQCCr2l
>I really can’t bear it anymore, it’s the first time I’ve ever posted something like this on Weibo.

>In the past, every time we were KO'ed, we always felt that we could tolerate it and there was no need to be angry, but more and more we found that forbearing would only get worse, and the Buddhist style did not respect the designer.

>Our products are really popular, and many parties come to KO. From 01 to 06, none of them are spared. Even the products of UT and dx9 are not spared, and they keep catching us. Thank you for your consideration, but besides knowing how to take What else can I do if I go to scan? Stealing the sweat and hard work of our designers so openly is no different from stealing or robbing.

>We have endured it for so many years, but today we solemnly declare: If the new products in the future are KOed again, UT will not be a soft persimmon again, even if we fight to the death with you. To continue to tolerate this is disrespectful to the designer, blasphemous to the originality, and irresponsible to buyers who order our new products!

>Thank you to all the players for your continued support and encouragement to UT. From design to development to production, the effort involved in a product is arduous. It should not and cannot become a profit-making tool for thieves. Stop your stealing immediately. , otherwise we will accompany you to the end at any time!

Do they realise that they are stealing character designs?
>>
>>11216322
Who gives a fuck? This shit is still scummy. And it's pretty fucking dumb of you to pull the morality card when we're the ones funding them to continue with 3P releases.
>>
>>11216332
What?
>>
>>11216224
>blasphemous to the originality

I know we’re talking about hardware design and not IP, but 3Ps complaining about getting knocked off are throwing stones in glass houses.

UT continues to stubbornly release figures in a scale that’s too large for most people, sprinkled with elements of cheapness. They leave themselves wide open to get KO’d because they’re not listening to what customers want: MPM-scale, articulated hands, premium sculpting and finish. Do this and you will find MUCH less people saying “I’ll wait for the KO” just to save a few bucks.

Yeah sure, it does the job for 25usd instead of 200, and has a vehicle mode as a bonus. The things against it are usual 3D printing flaws, you need to adjust the fit of most 5mm pegs/holes and print lines may be obvious from some lighting angles.

There's now some drama that their Prime is not going to come with any of his iconic weapons and you'll have to buy their add on trailer to get his basic bitch accessories like the blades and arm blasters lmao.
>>
>>11216546
Exactly, this is like calling your local news station to complain that a competing drug dealer is selling on your turf.

Don’t get me wrong I love 3P Transformers, but it’s a morally gray underworld and you kind of need to take it on the chin when you get stung by secondhand thievery. At the end of the day customers want the objectively best end product, and they don’t care who they get it from.

>>11216527

Nobody can truly think from other people's perspectives entirely, especially not for every single person who might have an opinion about it. Any and all observations about how others perceive things are ultimately derived from the observer's own perspective after all.
So he is right to critique it based upon his own preferences. He's the only person he can be, so why does he need to assume that everybody else has a different opinion than him?
Wanting to believe that your own thoughts and opinions are shared by others is natural.

been wanting to get a figure but I dont want to hold a funeral for my wallet. does anyone have any reasonable suggestions for a figure that wont destroy me
>>
>>11216820
You could definitely get into the legends scale stuff, we're kind of in a golden age of that. Dr. Wu does itty bitty tiny figures that are pretty neat, Magic Square and Newage both trade blows on character selection, engineering, and poseability, and there's seemingly always a new company coming out every few months with more niche offerings. Most of these won't break the bank, and the don't take up a ton of space either. I've kind of gone all in on Newage's toy inspired decos, I love em to death. Buying them on eBay from Chinese sellers is considerably cheaper than getting them from established online retailers like BBTS or TFSource.

>>
>>11216820

What is the upper limit prior to burial? The average price point for u3p hits somewhere around $100 a figure for something bigger than legends scale.
>>
>>11216867
on the more hopeful side is 50 but realistic is like 100
>>
>>11216859
ive been hearing a lot about dr.wu are they as good as everyone is saying?
>>
>>11216874
Personally I dislike dr wu offerings because they're still like 20-30 burgers for something so small, simple and limited. Unless you're really into the scale I wouldn't recommend it when you can pay 10-15 bucks more for a legends figure that's far better in every way
>>
>>11216879
thats what i was thinking, if it was 10-15 i'd get one but i really dont see why they are 20-30
>>
>>11216879
Yeah but his shit is the only stuff that scales with titans well, core doesn’t scale well enough only Wu and micromaster and WST

You know, fuck MMC for announcing their Rollbar like 2 weeks after I caved and bought Assaultus. I waited years for them to get off their asses and do Ruination. Now I have to settle for HasTak eventually repainting the new Bruticus into Ruination, and fuck HasTak for making the new Devastator absolutely horrific and forcing me to crawl back to MMC for Devastator. Fucks all around to the tranny community from me.

I might get this to replace the IF Fallen that came out this year.
It might be too big, but it’s not that I care about its scale in this situation since the IF just feels too small for what he’s supposed to be.

>Try my hardest to apply faction symbols
>Still end up askew
>Were my last 2 symbols
>Either live with it or buy more
Why
>>
>>11217372
I'm bad at this too. I have found that using needle nose tweezers to hold the very edge of the sticker helps a bit, allows me to line up the sticker more accurately by being able to see more of the figure.
>>
>>11217372
>>11217377
Just buy water decals, they look better and allows you to adjust alignment after you've put it on
>>
>>11217116
Part of me really likes him but part of me also wishes he weren't so... flat. Like, the molded detail is really nice but there really needed to be more texture
>>
>>11216124
I was tempted since those guys look pretty cool and they at least tried something slightly different, but we just have so many options for Devastator at this point, including that dirt-cheap Jinbao one being shockingly good for the price. I'm all-in on their teased Volcanicus though, the ones that exist either are more CHUG-scaled or that CangToys safety hazard, which does look cool but way too stylized for my taste.

If you have a printer, you could always just buy your own waterslide decal paper and you can have all kinds of fun customizing your figures with more than just the faction symbols if you felt like it. Though most home printers don't print white ink so usually you go to a USPS or whatever to get that.

I just logged back into ShowZStore and saw that they were sold out now, so I definitely got in just in time. I'm guessing that a bunch of other people were also waiting on the SS86 only to be disappointed, the timing is too coincidental for anything else.
>>
>>11217844
It's the only good one that's reasonably accessible, is what really matters I think. The other option you have is the Legacy which is...an acquired taste, to be diplomatic. To be fair that one is actually a decent mold, it's just that I can't stand looking at it.
>>
>>11217844
Is this just a KO of Prime FE Arcee? Cause I already own that figure. Were there improvements made or anything? Upscaling maybe?
>>
>>11218145
Same size as far as I know, but I believe the newest APC changed the face a little bit and she has a couple random extra bits like smaller blades which I think are more animation accurate? Otherwise it's just a straight KO pretty much, yeah.
>>
>>11217116
He was a head taller and generally bigger than Grimlock in the comics if I remember correctly, so leader is definitely a bit on the shrimpy side for him with today's figure size. Now, if he was cybertron Era leader sized we'd be talkin'.

>>11217494
His chest could definitely use some more forward bulk, and his legs taper down the wrong direction.

Jazz, Bee, and Ratchet are great. Ironhide's chunky on four wheels because of his design and Optimus feels like a lot of missed opportunities, but it's still good enough to succeed the ROTF mold.
>>
>>11218549
Damn. My autism wants the whole team. But I did read some reviews saying those two kinda sucked. And that overall the transformations being so complex makes most people keep them in one mode only, which is a huge bummer.
They do look nice though.
