Didn't see a thread for this brand specifically and didn't know where else I could post about it so I figured I should make a new thread. Just pre-ordered some figures from HASUKI, from what I've seen in reviews they seem to be pretty great quality for the price. I got the Mechanic Fiona, Security Hiyo (pictured), and Fortress Colossus as well as a few accessories. Going to see if I can hunt down some of their older releases.

Couldn't help myself and just picked up an Unknown Operator. I've been playing a lot of MGSV recently and Kojima games in general so the aesthetic is right down my alley. Seriously looks like something Yohji Shinkawa designed.

Never heard of this guy’s source material before seeing him for PO (Yi Ren Zhi Xia) but I think he’s pretty cool and am considering getting him.
>>
>>11207060
This figure would have looked so much better without the fuckhuge colle around him.
>>
>>11207140
He's supposed to be a bomb defusal operator, I think it gives him a cool silhouette.

Maid musketeer collaboration with fkey is going to be so good. Might need to get multiple for headswaps.
>>
>>11207142
I would've been fine with a more standard eod sized collar or his helmet being larger and incorporated into the collar like on the real suits, the way they did him it just looks way too big around his head and makes the whole figure look so too heavy.
>>
>>11207144
looking forward to this one.
>>
>>11207144
I thought that was short hair for a moment and got excited, but I think I see a braid wrapped around the back now I’m looking closer.

Been coming to regret missing out on the earlier figures of their armed girls line. Wish we knew they were open to restocking.

I'm not too fussed, I think Hiyo Reizei is their best looking military girl so far and she's coming out next month. I'm just bummed I missed out on a lot of the accessories, those I hope make a miraculous comeback. If Fiona and the two SALVO soldiers come in as well, I think I'll have everything I want so far in terms of figures from HASUKI. I'm still on the fence about the succubus.
>>
>>11207398
Definitely on Hiyo but it would be nice for squad building or head swapping. I really like how it's not as horny as the other brand releases.

FYI for when this thread inevitably dies, they are usually posted in /ctg/

The OP was how I found out about this line. The mechanic is almost perfect

Might pick these girls up too. Gonna collect figures that are "Kojima-adjacent" and have a shelf of 1/12th scale fictional universe
>>

>Short hair
Ah yes you are a man of culture.
>>
>>11207623
There are plenty of non-coomer Chinese figures though.

It's dependent on how many collectors of the line are in the board. If we had maybe four regulars who post their purchases, it can stand to stay among the sea of generals. Last I saw a thread like this was I think advocating for a military girl figure general.
>>
>>11208553
I'll try to keep up to date with my purchases. Hopefully HASUKI keeps them coming and the community here for them grows

Sounds gay

The only thing that bugs me about this release is the bottom hem of the aprons. It's too uniform. A straight cut would have been better than this squiggly pattern.

Tails reminding me of Marfusha too

I wanna be convinced. Pose 'em once you get them because Mechanic's lack of abdomen articulation is the only thing that irks me about her for now

It does fit in MGS, particularly V, as a random enemy

I've been hunting down for this Venom Snake figure. Glad to see that it blends in with the HASUKI figures.

???
Those are just bootleg versions of Sof Ein and Ohr from Blue Archive, though. That's why they have halos.
>>
all of these figures look very static.
>>

Their posability is pretty good other soft good pants hindering sitting poses but they do not have the expressive variety of anime figures. A single or two headsculpts is usually 50% of the figures price alone. The clothes and accessories count for another 40% and the body buck itself is usually dirt cheap. Multiple custom painted photoreal headsculpts just isn't economical for either the manufacturer or buyer.

DiD's 1:12 bucks have pretty good range of motion, other than the jack boots. I've ordered another pair to experiment on.

I think they're fine. The range is that of a typical Marvel Legends, which considering the restrictions of the soft goods it's pretty good.
>>
>>11210660
So basically a little on the stiffer side but with the advantage of a more flexible cloth?
>>
>>11210661
I'd say the opposite, the bodies typically have great range (they're thin as hell), but the clothing restricts the movement, however the restriction still allows for your typical marvel legend poses, if that makes sense.

Yeah theyre actually quite up there. Insane articulation levels isnt even widespread other than AYamaguchis and the occasional Figuarts whenever Bandai remembers how to not fuck something up.

A bit better than most Figma ladies generally speaking.

Wondering if anyone will be brave enough to make 1:12 scale patches to go with them. I'm thinking of picking up two of these at some point - wish they were a lil cheaper

Got my first Hasuki figure in today! I wasn't too sure about Fiona before release - the pre-release pictures made her faceplates look a bit odd - but having her in hand, she looks great!

Really love her character concept. I don't really have an other figures with the same look as her. She gives me the feeling of the sort of character that's good with machinery, but that you'd never actually want to touch any technology you care about, for fear of her doing something unspeakable to it - sort of an "engineer gremlin". Very fun
