anyone knows where to find raws of the beyblade x manga? i searched everywhere, maybe no one uploads raws?n4 level japanese atm, trying immersion to get better
>>11208103maybe you can try asking the translators in the wbbo discord. i think the xtream scanlation guys are still there though i heard zankye left.
>>11208097I'm just starting out and holy shit this is way more fun than it has any right to be. What Beys should I be aiming for? I currently have Soar Phoenix, the Spiderman/Venom pack, and Wizard Arrow. I also have Wizard Rod, but my locals is limited to only what's been released in America
NEW LEFT SPIN SOON.
>>11208206>What Beys should I be aiming for?the ones you think look fun :)for real I couldn't tell you shit about the hasbro meta other than that the shape of its arena favors attack. Hells Chain is pretty strong, Shark Edge is a fucking beast, Bite Croc is basically just a retool of that (though I think venom is too? I don't know much about the crossover beys).Maybe get the arena itself if you want to play on your own turf, really fuck with dran dagger/tusk mammoth (a hells scythe retool) or can justify shelling out $50 just for the rush bit that comes with dagger since that's especially good.
>Been blading since metal fight>Hear about Gamestop tournament>Train every night for 2 weeks>Go>It's just me, a bunch of children, and one other geeky guy>They combine the adults and kids to have enough for a tournament>Appraising the situation with the bucket stadiums I immediately construct a heavy stamina bey>All of the retarded kids want attack type parts>There are a lot of parents hovering around having to help their kids construct their beys>tournament starts>I go completely undefeated>Half the time the kid self KO with a shitty launch>Either way I launch as hard as i can every time>End up sitting waiting for minutes at a time for my bey to stop spinning because the gamestop clerk says the rules say both have to stop completely spinning due to safety concerns>Multiple parents getting mad>One dad storms out of the store>Karen loudly saying adults shouldn't have been allowed>Prize is an extreme stadium, I already have one>They make me pose for a picture holding it for their facebook>there's been like 10 laughing emoji reactions>one of the dad's were in the comments tagging someone else saying "this is who i was telling you about lol"I fucking hate my life so much
>>11208385And then the whole store clapped
>>11208206If you don't have the $50 arena, get it, it's entirely worth it. As far as specific Hasbro pickups go, I'm partial to the yellow Chain Incendio, Roar Tyranno, and Sting Unicorn boosters, and then the dual packs are almost always a good deal. Crossover packs are usually just underweight versions of other existing tops, but sometimes, they end up heavier (my Optimus Primal is over a gram heavier than my best Shark Edge, for example). I've got a full collection going so far, and the only one I really don't care for is Knife Shinobi, but that's mainly because it's the ugliest stock combo I've ever seen.
>>11208280The Spider-Man side of it comes with 3-60F and the Venom blade is a (cooler) Sword Dran clone, it's a pretty solid combo box.
How bad is the lead poisoning from fake beyblades? I am looking to buy some used ones from Facebook market but I am sure there’s a bunch of fakes from Amazon because of parents who don’t know any better.>>11208206Same here. My 2 boys and I are having a lot of fun with them. Even my mother in law is starting to enjoy it. I really like the purple kill shark
>>11208385not really your fault lol, same thing can happen on other competition, imagine if it was a video game, you grinded to get good, but you fought children spamming the same moves, ez win, also give away the prize to the 2nd place if you already own the stuff or keep it, it's up to you
>>11208385I actually won my gamestop tourney. At least for me (NYC) there was a good mix of adults and kids. They didnt make anyone take pics for winning lol. No need to make shit like this up.
>>11208437I haven't heard anything about fakes for X so far but I mighta just missed it if they're floating around. Unless you mean older gens?
I don't know if it's different for the TT stadium but Whale Wave's stock combo plays weird with the hasbro one. It doesn't typically dash, but it will ride the flat outer area and then go back into the center. Like a whale breeching before diving again, I guess. I like it. The only thing I'm wondering is if I should keep the stock ratchet or grab the 5-60 from Unicorn Sting for a fashionable alternative
>>11208466Yeah older gen like burst. I don’t want to risk it with my kidsAliExpress and temu have a bunch of fakes of X beyblades.
I think Taper might be my favorite bit, I like how simple and reliable it is and it comes in enough colors to match any combo. What builds have you had luck with utilizing taper and how do you launch it?
>>11208623hell's chain 7-60 taper is my go to blade for literally everything I gorilla mode launch it at full power with a winder it's like trying to out spin a brick wall.
>>11208623Same, just does fucking everything. Might like it better than point? What do you guys think the 3-85 ratchet is going to be like, are taller ratchets more resistant to bit bursting?
>>11208651when it comes to ratchet resistance, its all about shape rather than height and resistance comes from the bit. if you use a stamina/defense bit, it's going to burst easily. being tall can also allow for attacks that destabilize opponents or force them to scrape. sometimes you don't even need to hit the ratchet to cause a burst. impact and power alone can do the job, especially on combos that use low resistance bits like ball. my go-to TB1-60LF combo can usually dislodge any low resistance bits on WR9-60 combos.
>>11206027Ball Spike already looks like it's going to grind down real easy. In its entirety Knight Mail looks like it'll get chopped off at the knees like Knight Lance stock is prone to doing.>>11206786Decided to go ahead and spoil myself on what happens. Surprised to see Bird actually wins something. Also just found out Netflix has Beyblade X so guess I'll watch through it once all of season 1 is available dubbed. I will say his manga battle against Kamen Z wasn't bad. Yeah he lost to self burst, but it's also the most confident he's been since losing Strike Hawk. Speaking of, do we have any idea who Garuda's owner is yet?
>>11208623Stock Knight Shield from BX20. I taper and tilt launch this thing into so many gut ripping burst finishes. Comes with a free ape bey if you get the hasbro one.
>>11208385seriously wonder if the WBO has problems like that too since the organizers are conflicted between isolating their events and bringing in kids because of them pushing the usual stereotype.
Really looking forward to trying the sword launcher. I can't use the winder launcher on a grip to save my life, I feel like I have no control pulling the winder toward me, and holding it without a grip feels awkward. The sword launcher pulling horizontally outward might be just right.
genuinely not sure if I'm more interested in saber or garuda
>>11208871My schizo theory is that Bird will feel bad about Ekusu just bringing Tenka into the team like it's nothing and will leave to join Pendragon. Then, he'll finally have a bird-themed bey.
>Been blading for years in isolation>Haven't been to a WBO tournament>Finds out from friends that there are organizers on there (one is now a staff member) who are slandering and harassing people with false accusations of being pedophiles>WBO investigated the slanderers to no avail. They still keep the users involved with the slander campaign>Never been to a WBO tournament since Is it me or is WBO mostly filled with corrupt pricks and toxic childish retards who continuously break rules while getting away with it?
>>11209239Imo I think Saber has the more interesting bit and blade, but the sick launcher tipped the scales for me.
>>11209390Most hobby communities end up like this these days. The important people with a lot of authority clique together and use their power to force out undesirables. All it takes is for one of them to claim someone said/did something sexist, or racist, or transphobic, and the rest of the community will mob them with no evidence required because a respected person said so.
>>11209390>the organization that took in outsiders and gave them what little status and meaning they have in the world is rife with corruption and gaslightingColor me surprised. This is why I keep my activities to me, my friends, and the few I trust enough to give me problems. Outside my time with the FGC I prefer my hobbies and activities to be self-contained, and preferably managed by me if I can help it.
This hobby is a real slippery slope. Oh, beys are only $10-20 each, that's not too bad. Now I have the stadium and 8 beys after only a couple months, and am more and more tempted to order some TT beys.
>>11208385Just let them know their kids are fucking retardsThey're what, 8 years old bare minimum because of the age rating right? By that point they should have the brain function to do this shit without their fat cunt parent's help
>>11209688I feel that. Almost a year ago I bought the Stadium set with red sword and blue arrow plus the two deck sets with dagger and chain to split with my buddy. Flash forward to now, I have 24 blades and two stadiums just for myself and I want another super sized stadium plus at least 8 other blades from this year to add to my collection.
>>11209688There's something about Beyblade that triggers some kind of hoarder response like>SHINY METAL PRETTY COLORS NEED MORE>Well, I don't have this Bit/Ratchet in this color yet. I guess I'll spend another $15.
>>11209807Since it is a game, most people like to have all available options to deck build with. So you end up justifying purchases for fancy gimmick bits, new flashy variant blades and then storage solutions to contain it all. This happens in a lot of other game centered hobbies. Takara Tomy, he knew this.
>>11209811Yeah I just got the entire extreme stadium just for a rush bit on one of the included beys
>>11209402Tried to communicate this with someone who had the slanderers in another server but I got banned.
>>11208103Beyshiki discord
Which Beytubers do you like? Any good ones for meta combos and tournaments?
>>11210487ilinnuc and nizuma blader are pretty good cant stand zankye the greasy little rat.
>>11210493He sounds like Dr Nick
>>11209390>mfw got 1stGenBeys/Dsemen Slimeball banned from the Reproducers' Discord
>>11210487Nestrings Channel is pretty good. Even tho they're Japanese beytuber, they provide eng subs and better testings.https://youtu.be/_-MRO7B_5f4
>>11208097>not "Daily Dose Edition"
>>11208206>I also have Wizard Rod, but my locals is limited to only what's been released in AmericaHasbro Wizard Rod has been spotted in the midwest, so you might want to hold off on stamina parts as it won't be long until your Wizard Rod 9-60B is allowed to dominate the Hasbro meta.
>>11208280All the Hasbro crossover beys are retools of regular beys.>Mandalorian set = Leon Claw and Hells Scythe>Skywalker set = Knight Shield and Knight Lance>Optimus Prime set = Knight Shield and Hells Scythe>Optimus Primal set = Shark Edge and Wizard Arrow>Iron Man set = Knight Shield and Knight Lance>Spider-Man set = Viper Tail and Dran Sword
>>11208385>I immediately construct a heavy stamina beyPhoenix Wing 9-60B or Hells Scythe 9-60B?
>>11210487I missed all of metal fight generation and this guy has helped me a lot now that I'm going back to it. He's sort of annoying because he's so hyper but his battle videos really help me know if I want to order something or not. For burst and X I just watch Beyblade Geeks. Way back in the day there was a channel called DrigerGT that I liked a lot that was nothing but battles with no commentary.
>>11209390>doesn't post names>doesn't link threadsYou're full of doo-doo
>>11208437>How bad is the lead poisoning from fake beyblades?About as bad as any other cheap toy, I mean it probably won't kill you but I wouldn't take the risk

>>11210892I filtered that channel the second I saw the massive Adam's apple.
>>11208385That sucks dude, here in
the Philippines
the adults unironically outnumber the kids so much during both official and unofficial tourneys, and even then there are kids 12 and under who can kick ass, none of the parents mind and actually encourage them to play with the older peeps so that they get a feel for competing in a real setting where age doesn't really matter. >>11208437okay so, beyblade x beys hit like fucking trucks, and because of this, after a while, sometimes pieces of the metal can just.. flake off. with a metal like lead which I'm 60% sure is weaker than the zinc alloy they use, that can devolve into shards of lead flying about everywhere.the question is, does THAT sound dangerous to you?
>>11210892would
>>11210757>thanks doc, can I come out of the extreme zone now?
>>11211160/toy/ is retarded and doesn't allow
spoiler tags
I don't understand why Hasbro doesn't release the Takara Tomy stadium as a Pulse exclusive.
>>11211808>HasbroThere's your problem
Anyone ever try coming up with custom parts or gimmicks? I had an idea for a 4d bottom or driver that would have two metal balls that, when the bey is launched, are locked inwards in the center of the bey to help with it's center of gravity and stability. Then as the bey slows down, they will then go outwards to help push weight outwards and help with stamina. Don't know if my idea would actually work but it sounded cool.
>>11212402Given how centripetal force works, how are you going to make the balls retract at high-speed?
>>11212559maybe have those sliding tabs like Final drive and Final survive keep the balls in and the let the balls move outwards?
>live in a small-ish town of a few thousand people, but surrounded by other small-ish towns too>biggest supermarket in the tri-town area has had at LEAST 100 copies of 4-5 slingshock hasbro burst beys sitting there collecting dust for YEARS>each of them selling for, no joke, 24€ each, 18 on sales>hasn't moved any except for the ones I bought on deeper christmas discount>got the new X beys>hangs 8 of them on a string next to the baby plushies, without price, and doesn't remove the shelfwarmer beysX is never getting a second wave here and I blame these stupid fucking stores. When Plastic gen and Metal Fight showed up they teamed up with Hasbro to host tournaments to move units and now, nothing.
>string launcher and the winder handle from my backup winder launcher both broke in the same day
Just found these 2 sets available at Costco in Canada, for $29.99 CAD, may also be available in US but IDK. They have 2 beyblades with 2 basic launchers and a basic stadium. If someone were just starting out and only wanted one set, as only one stadium is needed, which pair of beyblades has more desirable parts?
>>11213367scythe and dran easilybut really you'd be better off spending a bit more and getting the xtreme set (pic related) since tusk mammoth is a retooling of scythe and dagger is a very competent sidegrade compared to sword (arguably better since it comes with the rush bit.) nevermind that the bucket those costco sets comes with is awful

Whut? I thought this would be a new Dragoon but it looks to be right spin?
>>11214096Gaia Dragoon?
>>11214096Unpainted cobalt dragoon
>>11214589Doubt it, they revealed this after revealing picrel. Also the blades are bigger than Drakes.
>>11214096Also whatever the fuck this is
>>11214627>"Step aside, Wizard Rod. Leave ruining the game to me."
String launcher users, which are you?
>>11214954I noticed A style is actually easier to go full terminus without damaging the winder while it's the opposite for B style. I tend to way over pull for B style.
>>11214096it does looks like one of those beyblade psp back then
>>11214954a is cooler but b is more practical
>>11214954Think about the bio mechanics. Practice lightly drawing both styles. Notice how you activate different muscle groups. Choose what feels best for you and practice the hell out of it.
>>11215091Great. Dislocated my shoulder and the launcher is stuck in the wall now.
>>11214954I'm forced to use string because of Cobalt Dragoon, I always pick sword style so the string doesn't constantly slap my hand.
>>11214954A is more comfortable to make angle launch, also most of Japanese players use A style.
>>11214954I use the second one and launch with my non dominant hand. I just makes sense and feels comfortable.
>>11214627So...according to the leaks, the December release is a Starter*, meaning it comes with a launcher, making it much more likely that this* is a left spin.>>11214096I mean this obviously looks right spin but why the fuck does it look so much like Cobalt Drake?

>>11216843It's from zankye, big chance it's real
>>11214096Alright hear me out, if the red is relevant then this will be Garuda once Bird gets his hands on it.
Local place around me is starting to do Beyblade nights so I'm finally biting the bullet. Trying to do Hasbro only since importing is just too expensive when the US stuff is just way more affordable. Currently have:Phoenix Wing 9-60GFTail Viper 5-80O & Sword Dran 3-60FChain Incendio 5-60HT & Arrow Wizard 4-60NKeel Shark 3-60LFAny other Hasbro slop I should gobble? Thinking Scythe and Rhino since they're readily available. Know where to get Roar and Unicorn but they're literally behind an actual time gate for some reason.
>>11217252I'd say unicorn but you're already eying that sonext would probably be Scythe, I think.
>>11217252>Thinking Scythe and Rhino since they're readily available. Know where to get Roar and Unicorn but they're literally behind an actual time gate for some reason.Just get Scythe then. You already have the parts for a good Hasbro-only deck, depending on which Scythe release you get. Red Scythe comes with Taper, Yellow Scythe comes with Ball.>Phoenix Wing on 3-60 Taper or 5-60 Orb>Shark Edge on 3-60 Low Flat or 5-60 Low Flat>Hells Scythe 9-60 Ball or 9-60 OrbJust keep in mind that you can't repeat parts in a deck, so the version of Scythe you pick can change a lot about your composition.
>>11216334typical beytubers for you.
>>11217356Thanks for the suggestions. Might just get the starter Scythe and pick up a starter Wizard Arrow to remove the headache of looking around and impatiently waiting for a taper worth grabbing.

>>11217605>defense bey>launches it flat instead of trying different angles at max power like LeftSpinBeys suggestedWait, you're not supposed to flat launch defense type bey?
>>11217625from what ive seen, you launch it at an angle so when it hits your bey it doesnt fling all over the place, or in best case scenario, it recoils a bit and goes into the xtreme line and do a counter attack xtreme dash, thats logical thing i can think of why theyre not making them heavy, and why the tip is a needle as it stabilizes better after being hit compared to attack types' flat bit, but now theyre changing defense beys again, and we might get some heavy defs nowtake what im saying with a grain ofsalt tho i am just a retard on the internet
>>11217546Sounds good to me. Taper rocks.
finally pulled the trigger on a soar phoenixis there some kinda finesse i'm missing or is the string launcher just complete ass compared to using retard strength on a winder
>>11217625In general, you probably shouldn't be flat launching anything. Even with stamina/defense types, an angle gives you enough control to stay in the center and enough evasive movement to not be completely stationary. I still use this method all the time.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dkH4NMzdL4
>>11217834yes its complete ass but in a design way. it takes more effort to get a good launch on it. it also breaks easily which is what I meant when I said ass design. theres a high chance it completely fails outside of the the box like mine did. one of the japanese pros eats through a string launcher every month and he has a graveyard of them that he likes to post on twitter. people only use it for control when they try very specific launcher techniques that would otherwise be harder to pull off on winder.
>stadium for $38 with a $10 instant rebateThis is as good a deal I'm going to get until this shit hits the bargain bin, right?
>>11218087depends, is it the dogshit hasbro version or the always in demand japanese version?
>>11218087The hasbro stadium was going for $20 on amazon not too long ago and its gone on sale a few times before that might be worth watching there.
>>11218105dogshit hasbro>>11218106Well shit, that sucks to have missed it. They're probably doing it again for Black Friday too, but I think I'll just stick to this. Can get Dagger for an upcoming thing and just try to have fun even if the stadium is Hasbro's.
>>11217923I agree on some part, because I'm mostly do angle/tilt launch on attack and stamina type. It's just the first time I've heard not doing flat launch on defense type.
I pre ordered samurai saber from mall of toys, heres hoping it'll be good
>>11218420There's a chance that the blade is good, except the ratchet and bit based on this videohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8F88dic0WQc
>>11218440I have high hopes that Level Bit can synergise with Dran Buster.
So I'm rewatching Bird's first on-screen win and I'm wondering: Is Bird the only one with a special move? I know most bladers have one that they call off on an X-Treme Dash but is this that? Maybe I'm just reading too far into it, but this doesn't seem like bird's just firing off the rail multiple times, but something different. Also I think he's done it once before but I can't recall when.on an unrelated note, would a low-height ratchet work better with Elevate or should I still to being tall to use the blades as intended?
>>11218597everyone has something special with their beys, they just dont name it, like how multi's wizard rod becoming hard again after going flacidchrome's bey going faster without going into the xtreme lineand x bey almost never losing stamina lolmanju queen can read into the future...yep, dont read too much into it
>>11218597There's Multi with Mirage Parry in episode 2 when she fight Bird for the first time.
>>11209180I go to WBO events and kids regularly place in the top of tournaments. The ones who aren't casuals are just as good as any adult and it's funny to me how respectful people are to them like they're pro athletes or something
I'm the taper anon from last thread. I think my favorite taper combo is Hell's Hammer 3-70T. In my solo testing it reliably beats wizard rod 9-60B. Basic strat is to launch with a slight tilt so Hammer does the downward smash on their ratchet which causes the opponent bey to faceplant into the ground and lose big chunks of stamina
>>11218813I've never put hell's hammer on taper. Trying that next time I screw around.Love the bit. Taper for life.
Just got the Unicorn/Croc pack, tried to polish them and noticed they both have the UX coating on them. They're the first Hasbro releases I've seen with it so far.
>>11218440So it's just a funny High Needle?>>11218965>UX coatingDisgusting.
>>11218983I hate it, it makes them look so dull and tarnished.
>>11218965never had a ux bey, what is that?
>>11219032It's like a thin, plastic film coating to protect the metal they started putting on UX releases. It dulls the shine, kind of like matte/non-glare card sleeves.Photos are>my old Unicorn without it and the one I got today>the old Unicorn next to a mint Wizard Rod>the mint Rod next to a used one with the coating mostly worn offIt's hard to tell from indoor, nighttime photos, but it's really noticeable in person. >>11219174Nta but I didn't know that it started with UX releases. I kind of like it actually, makes the metal look more expensive. Looks ugly as fuck the first couple times you battle with it though.

Would it be worth getting Saber mostly just for the launcher? Went blading today and using the little one is awful, and while the larger one is way better, I'd still need a grip too. Saber's seems to be the best of both while having the ripcord not facing the other person.that weird for anyone else? every time we went to launch our fingers would near always end up touching the other persons ripcord
>>11220367Gingerly touching tips is just part of the experience, compadre. The sword draw does seem like it's gonna be a bit more comfortable, though, it's the main reason I ordered the set. I just assumed the close fit was from the tiny Hasbro stadium, but I've never seen a side-by-side size comparison.
are these x launchers supposed to just not have a decent grip on the beys or am i somehow fucking up using them? with the string one it seems way too easy for them to just fall from the slightest movement
>>11220367I want it just so I can have a lateral ripcord launcher on a grip. The ones we have now only mount one way and make you pull toward yourself. The only way to pull outward is to not use the grip at all, which isn't really comfortable.
Something I don't get about Crimson Garuda is why it doesn't have any references to Dranzer in its color scheme. If it was the case for the others, it would be whatever, but...>Cobalt Dragoon has red accents that reference Dragoon's red accents.>Black Shell has green accents that reference Draciel's base color.>Weiss Tiger and Silver Wolf basically reference Driger and Wolborg's entire color schemes. All they'd have to do is just invert Cobalt Dragoon's colors and that'd be it.

I teach middle school, kids started a nerd club that includes Beyblade tournaments. I have zero clue about Beyblades, recommend me something that will demolish them
>>11221401Pick up the Soar Phoenix set at any walmart for $20. Comes with a string launcher which, while not as good as a proper winder, is gonna still murder anything shot out of the tiny launchers hasbro ships with their other products stateside. How does everyone do their combo testing? Do you do first to X number of points, first to X wins, etc?
>>11221699I do a best out of 10 games alternating which bey I launch first unless I have someone else to launch with. Also do tests vs slightly optimized attack (PW 3-60C), stamina (WR 3-60B), and defense (SW 5-60H) builds to see if it excels at specific matchups.

>>11222019
>>11222019>attack type>awakened state: stamina typeLOL
>>11222308More like defense type. Rubber is not good for stamina. But maybe with Rubber Accel I'll finally end my journey for a good Shinobi Shadow combo. Somehow it sometimes tanks a hit so hard the attacking bey explodes but it also gets ragdolled so I might only need something to prevent ragdolling without increasing its weight.
fellas quick question, how does one get NOT CLAPPED by Phoenixwing 3-60 LF when using Sharkedge on the Hasbro stadium? 'Cause I can beat that lil mofo with Rhino on Hexa but for the love of all that is holy I've tried 9-60 F/LF/GF/P/GP and even Hexa and Ball, but Shark dies before landing a decent hit on Phoenix.
>>11222560I always do this when I fight aggressive fuckers who launch in the middle of the stadium but try tilt launching towards your side of the rail. The little inlet on the side opposite the "Over Finish" zone/pocket. It lets the opposing bey use up some stamina first and puts you in a great spot for an over/extreme finish.
>>11219588Betting this is a UX Dragoon, still left spin since if the blades were rubber I can see this shape working better for spin steal.>>11214627Or maybe they pull a fast one and have THIS be the new Cobalt, what do the colors for these reveals mean anyway? >>11222589Thanks for the tip senpai I'll try! I didn't mention how my oppo Phoenix launched but you where spot on, it wasn't even that powerful of a launch, but it did always fuck up my Shark. Thanks again!

randomly wanted to get a beyblade after remembering my childhood of having fun in middleschool. Is it possible to play it alone or something? Fine to just pick any beyblade in the store?
>>11222925If you just want one to fiddle with, get Soar Phoenix. You can find them just about anywhere with a toy section. It's still one of the best ones in the game to this day and comes with a string launcher. It's a good starting point in case you take a greater interest later.>Is it possible to play it alone or something? If you want to buy the stadium too, sure, I guess.
>>11222925>Is it possible to play it alone or something? It's possible if you want to practice launch angle, positioning, etc.
>>11222925Definitely get/print a launcher link, so you can do two side-by-side, and you'll have a better time than trying to juggle two separate launchers. It's entirely possible to play solo, I usually do it myself, but half the players also means you're having half the fun. I jumped back in from the nostalgia boost, but it is kind of a bummer that I seem to be the only one I know with that specific nostalgia.
>>11220729Noel has said multiple times he is a man, he just likes looking and dressing feminine. He used to show off his gf on instagram but she deleted her account for some reason.

>preorderd Silver Wolf>own Silver Wolf>have not used Silver Wolf because I haven't been back to the barcade in almost a monthI'm going this Friday, but goddamn I've been so busy on weekends that I haven't been able to use my Beyblades.
>>11223165Maybe, but if having an eye for an aesthetic is autism than we're all touched with the 'tism.I'm trying to find a white bit to use with my whale wave, after snatching the 5-60 from unicorn sting. I'm going to have my whale ride seafoam, even if it means 3dprinting an Elevate bit, somehow.
So does Samurai Sabers little pop out blades just give him insane outward weight distribution? Did they unknowingly just give him a better version of Knight Mails gimmick?! Though with Knight Mail's balls moving up and down like that he might be good for attack type since he can easily restabilize and I can see em being a problem when he doesn't have enough spin anyway.
>>11220729Still better than most beytubers, he's not obnoxious at least.
>>11223625>design attack bey but it turns out to be good at stamina>design defense bey but it turns out to be good at attackBeyblade X is kind of funny.
>>11223605You could always settle for complimentary colors. Too bad the playskool yellow they use is too obnoxious to go with anything but more playskool yellow.
>>11224182Yeah, and teal looks good with the elevate bit's purple already so It's not the worst thing. Once I get a good yellow ratchet and Tyrano Beat, I want to try a TaToBa beyblade combo.
>>11224186>I want to try a TaToBa beyblade combo.I'm trying to figure out what'd work best thematically. like one of the phoenixes obviously for the blade. Maybe quake for the bit? Even if it's a bit of a meme bit it has the jump gimmick after all. Ratchet stumps me, my heart says 7-60 from the lion crest but I feel like something that's built for speed rather than sturdiness (as much as a ratchet can be) is more fitting.
>The status of your order has changed to "Partially shipped".
Got my Silver Wolf. Seems to weight just under 38g, if my coffee scale is anything to go by. And it's also my first time using a winder. It'll probably take some practice but I'm basically trading any accuracy in my launch for being able to go full unga. Launching shark with it feels risky since it basically seeks the xtreme pocket immediately. Though, to be fair: hasbro stadium so that's not hard to do. But, speaking of hasbro, getting a full-sized launcher with the starter really makes the tiny launchers we get stateside irritating. I didn't think it'd be THAT much of a difference but it's THAT much of a difference.
>>11224274I get they don't include proper winders with the starter sets for space/cost reasons and that it's probably too niche of a product to litter store shelves at any given walmart, but I really can't for the life of me figure out why they aren't at least in the set with the arena.
>>11224190You can get a yellow 3-60 from the Hells Chain Deck set, since Weiss Tiger comes with a 3-60, for the bit maybe the green rush from BX-35 Wizard Rod? The LF from BX-14 HellsScythe could work too. These would kick absolute ass with Phoenix Wing.
>>11224293Hasbro are greedy shortsighted cheapskates that had to be strong-armed by Takara to keep the quality of theor equivalent products. They were never going to give a deal on winders when they can sell them separately.
>>11224274I practiced with the proto-launchers so much that I'm more accurate using the winder launcher than using the string launcher. To this day, I don't understand how people get more control and power with the string launcher.
>>11224546They for sure dont get more power its total cope I've spun beys so hard with a winder they bruised my hand when i went to stop them.
>>11224546To be fair, I specifically said I was trading accuracy for power. I can definitely go ham with a winder, but I can't aim it for shit when I do that. Opposite of that, I can hit the sides or center pretty easily with the string but I have to NOT go ham or I break it. And once I get my grubby mitts on the sword launcher I'm going to have to figure out that since I'm going to want to use it the same way I use the string launcher+grip like a bootleg sword launcher, pulling the string while holding the grip like a sheath (this only works half the time but it looks cool)
>>11224560From the grips I've seen jap beytubers use, the grip on the straight configuration is more of a stabilizer for their hands. I figure the sword launcher will work like that.
>>11224566With the first use of grip I meant the way they hold their launchers. Maybe I should've used hold and then grip.Sorry.
>>11224566>>11224570Nah I got it. The "claw" grip is the one I've seen most often. I want to go in the opposite direction: pic and vid related.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3ehpVcNq_8
Anyone have any idea about the mysterious CX blades that are supposedly coming next year? I had the thought that the C may stand for compact and they will reverse the plastic/metal set up on the blades for a higher spin speed/compact weight style of blades.Any other speculations?
>>11224666Basic > Unique > Complex?Maybe time for a new system, like Beys with a 4th part. A second metal layer, or ratchet add-ons.
>>11224666>>11224681C apparently stands for Custom. Not sure what it would be though, or even if they would be cross compatible with BX and UX (since I was thinking it would be neat if CX went back to the separate plastic and metal layers that you could switch around like the previous gens). Looking forward to more and more gimmicks with the UX line too since it seems like that's where they're going.
I have a good feeling about Yell Kong for low defense combos, i.e. seemingly the only combos allowed in competitive, and Tusk Mammoth for tall defense with Spike, but I have no idea of what to make of Bear Scratch. Rhino Horn is fun but also kind of shit, though that might also be because my stadium's rail is failing recently.Should I give up on keeping it on a zoo deck and replace it with Bite Croc?
You guys think we're getting an L-Drago for the Metal Fight callbacks like Aero Pegasus? or are they just going to incorporate L-Drago stuff into Dragoon?
>>11224694>SpikeIs it any good? Personally prefer Hexa and Dot for defense.
>>11224666>>11224691this is what was datamined back in july, it's custom line. more than likely it'll just be separate inner plastic and outer metal.
>>11224700Yeah probably will just be separate plastic/metal layers. Got any more details on the leaks or was it just release dates/stuff we already know? I heard there was a white Shark Edge leak
>>11224699It's good if you plan to have your combo wobble a lot as Spike can go really, really low. Losing balance is very dangerous in X so being able to either come back from it or survive it's important.Ball, in my experience, is not as good at dealing with wobbling as much as Orb, and Needle is better at dealing with it than High Needle, but Spike is better than all of them because of the ridiculous angles it can reach before it hits the stadium floor. There it can still tank some hits before it hits the stadium or use the opponent to recover its balance.I wouldn't tell you to put it on a stamina bey and if you have something heavy and solid for defense, yeah, go for Hexa.I haven't tested Dot as much because I haven't bought a rug to prevent it from getting squashed by my slab floor.
>>11224705I almost forgot the main reason I prefer Spike, which is that you can launch at an angle so the blade protects the ratchet and deflects strong attacks from attack types somewhat better.
>>11224712>>11224705Huh, okay I'll try it out. I usually do that shit on Ball/Needle for Stamina but Ball does like to go upright, and Taper for attack.
>>11224714I mean, defense is already a niche in X so my belief is that people are either not playing it properly, not that I'm amazing at it, or that with stamina combos being so strong and prevalent defense combos they don't want to risk playing defense.Funnily enough, Point is also good for defense, as seen on Nizuma Blader's tests with stock Leon Crest 7-60 Point, but good luck testing it on your own without a custom launcher link.
Found out I can actually remove the blade first when disassembling the whole thing. Is there any actual issues from doing it that way when these things fucking burst or am I being retarded over shit that will absolutely break from using them as bloody normal?
>>11224723Not that I know but don't do it with attack and balance bits just in case.
Is there a place that has the scans of the suggested combos for the random boosters?
>>11224723If you twist the top off first you're going to put undue stress on the parts. Over time that bitch will burst for almost no reason.
>TIL you can use a fidget spinner for checking ratchet and bit balancehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MpbOwnoiBTg
>>11224572Finally, I can become Vergil in a Beyblade tournament
With the way its blade is kind of umbrella-shaped, would Silver Wolf on 5-60 make a good defense type?
>>11224981I don't have one but I believe every time one wants to check if a blade will be viable for defense, its shape has to be compared against the best defense blade in the first season of the game: Hells Chain.
>>11208385Lol wtf. Are today's kids total retards? I won 2 tournaments in my country during the metal fusion era when I was 9 and 10. I did remember other kids being super dumb using attack types but it wasn't as bad as you're describing it.
>>11213367Wow, I just noticed how BAD these combos are."Hey kids, do you want the bucket with the ATTACK and BALANCE types who actually move around the stadium and crash into each other, or the pack with the Stamina and Defense types who don't move around much?"Absolute dumbasses. Should have been Dran-Knight and Scythe-Wizard. Swap for D-W and S-K if you want a cool color and a warm color instead of two cools and two warms.
>>112249815-60 or 9-60 should be a good one for Silver Wolf defense type
>>11225063I thought that was Knight Shield because it was round and had those gaps that absorbed impact. What makes Hells Chain good for defense?
>Leon Claw's gimmick is that it can switch between attack and defense.>Leon Crest is focused on defense. What if King gets a third Leon designed for attack?

>>11225739It's shaped like whales, anon. The mascot has a horn and grooved throat, each 5th of the blade is a whale breaching and stabbing with its horn. They have done the same thing with a lot of animal beys. Rhino Horn being the first to repeat animal shapes.
>>11225745The issue isn't with whether or not it's based on a whale, it's the name change. By your logic, it should be named Narwhal Horn. My problem was the name change, because the side profile has a rippled shape that fits Wave better than Tide. I'm glad you know more than me, though. Thank you for correcting me. I would've never known a Beyblade's shape is usually based on something.
>>11225799nta but a lot of the hasbro renames are retarded and not worth thinking about. i'm not about to start calling one of my favorite beys "chain incendio" just because that's what the box said.
>>11225799The reason it isn't named whale horn is because HASBRO took a 5 second glance at this product before naming it. "WAVE? Who thinks waves are tough? Name it tide. Tides are stronger than waves." - Some idiot at a toy monopoly
>>11225802Even "Infernal" Chain/Scythe/Hammer would've sounded better than Incendio if they had to rename it.
>>11225799That isn't what waves in the water look like from any angle, and a narwhal is a whale. Be offended that people say you're wrong when you actually are wrong, though. >>11225814That would hit the same checkbox that kicked "Hell's" out the door, all of the easily offended Chrischans in the government are scared that devil words will corrupt the innocent children. "Incendio" comes from "incendium," the Latin word for fire, so it works as a decent replacement.
>>11225880I guess they just named it Whale Wave for fun then.
Kill me
>>11226079There's waves on the inside. The translucent plastic. The whales are the blade, the plastic base of the blade is the ocean waves. Really they need to make the non prize colors more obvious for these clear death elements. Black on black and white on white, both opaque. Not selling the wave portion.
>>11223908Not the first time Takara screwed up on toy design. Remember Crash B-Daman and how they poorly designed Magnum Ifrit and Blitz Garuda to be better at each others' supposed types? Yeah, it's this situation again.Side note, Tenka in the poster may only indicate the arc. Have we gotten poster changes after the first one to see who's in the major arc at the time? If not, they might be serious about adding Tenka to Team Persona, which everyone doubted.

Anybody hear back from Beyblade Premier on the Wolf/motor stadium shipping yet? They apparently got nailed by the storm, but said they had another delivery scheduled to replace the ruined stock, but that was a few weeks ago. Last I saw, the warning is gone from their website, so I assume it's been resolved.
The frequency of Cobalt Dragoon on Elevate in tournament finals is kind of disgusting. No wonder it's sold out everywhere right now.

>>11231300wolf's free spinning layer is really good at protecting the ratchet, so it's almost completely immune to bursts
>>11231305I've been testing it against stock whale/shark and wolf just seems to not give a fuck most of the time. Granted, that's not essentially a bad thing but I'd rather this not end up as the next wizrod

>>11231293Watch them give Zero ratchets an insufferable quirk that makes them bad.
>>11230638At this point I want them out of society.Hopefully your speculation comes true.
>>11231300>Speaking of Silver Wolf, is it broken?Silver Wolf is more of a Defense type rather than a Stamina type like they branded it. It's pretty much a brick wall like >>11231315 said, and it has a really good matchup into Wizard Rod. Something about Wolf's blade is good at destabilizing, so it consistently outspins Rod just by knocking it off balance.
>>11231300I used Silver Wolf for the first time last Friday and it can take out most other beyblades provided it's not something like a Shark Edge. Had to stop using it because I couldn't stop winning for the evening and wanted some of my other beyblades to battle.
>>11231293UX? You think this guy will have a gimmick or will it be just HE'S A FUCKING CIRCLE
Should I just bite the bullet and get TT beys at this point? Every time I go to my local stores they have fuck all for new stuff
>>11231612It's a preference of mine to get TTomy, unless it's a hard to get prize bey.
What's a good case to carry beys and parts
>>11231300I tried it and struggled a lot to take it down. Knight Mail, Garuda, Samurai all failed. Then I whipped out Buster and finally it started losing sometimes. God I love Buster.
>>11231597I'm calling it now its gimmick is that its small and hard to hit like a ghost and that's why it has a 0 ratchet.
>>11231612You're gonna have to if you want anything good. My stores have only had the usual Dran Sword, Hells Scythe, Knight Shield, etc stuff they've had for months. I still check whenever I go. I've been counting the number of Phoenix Wings lately just to see how often they restock, makes it less disappointing to see at least something has changed.
>>11231694Yeah probably, wonder about it's weight though. I hope being a ghost doesn't mean it's light. You guys think Impact Drake is gonna be any good? Never had experience with rightspin rubber attack in Burst.
opinions on rubber accel?
>>11231723Played against one last weekend, seemed pretty good. It moves like all of the other RF bottoms from the past; aggressive, tight flowers and poor stamina if it fails to KO something. It makes the Bey hit way harder, which is what you want from an attack type.

>>11231897>>11231892The only way to justify such an underwhelming line up is to either give them damn good parts OR make the prize beys so fucking strong.
>>11231897>Ghost looks cool....but these recolors.... ngl they're kinda assI like the blue shiobi shadow, but unfortunately it's still shinobi shadow. and green ghost is solid, if not as good as the prize.goddamnit I usually avoid prize beys none of them are worth $50 but I don't think I can wait a year+ for this guy to maybe show up stateside
>>11231889>>11231892It looks cool, but Imma pass. I think it's time for a left spinning defense type now. >>11231843"Parry the single blade" and "laugh at the end" are all I can translate. So it's an evasive stamina type that's meant to be thrown around and not lose stamina. The teeth extending to the floor are its only weakness, but perhaps it's light as a feather also.

>>11231994It's dragoon skulls all around
Given the downward points of the 0 ratchets (and assuming the 0 ratchets actually see use), do you think we'll see a rise in lower attackers like shell and viper as counters to it?
>>11232066That's was thinking, even with a potential to see a lower height than 60 to create a whole new angle of attack type. What I'm more concerned about is the loss of stamina from Ghost tilting over, which means you're going to want to flat launch it and that means it's a sitting duck in the center.
>>11232074that's what I was thinking*
>>11232066Until we know how large the ratchet nubs are then I really can't say, but desu I don't think ratchet burst builds are all that good, and aiming for Over and Extreme Finishes are better/more common anyway. Looks like Ghost has a "parry" gimmick so I wonder how he'll achieve that, currently don't see it being as good as Silver Wolf or Wizard Rod but hey I could be wrong.
>>11231842Skeptical about the rubber contact points but if the red bits are one (or at most maybe three?) large bits of rubber with the metal layer on top this might be really fucking strong. Hell, wearing out the rubber contact points might make it even stronger since it still has a bunch of rubber to shock absorb.
>>11232090>ThreeWhoops, meant four since it has four "blades"
>>11231907>That recoil at high speeds is going to hurt someone!Good

>>11234771>Dran Sword: 34.6g>Venom: 32.3gEven if they have the same basic shape, Venom is worse because of how much lighter it is.
>>11234771the main problem with hasbro retools is they're always lighter
>>11234771Like those other guys said, Hasbro retools are *typically* worse in terms of weight, but that does also depend. I have an Optimus Primal that's a few grams heavier than either Shark Edge I own, while the Bite Crocodile I have is (marginally) lighter than all three. I'm pretty sure Venom was comparable to Sword Dran, but it's been a minute since I weighed em.I'd say that if you like the design, it's worth picking up just to check. The difference usually isn't major, unless you're minmaxing your deck.
>>11234165Hell yeah, they should do a new tour with this, now that the game's had some time to develop overseas. It'd also do some good to have something that isn't a basic bitch GameStop demo, I'd say.
>>11234821>a basic bitch GameStop demoI still can't get over how much of a joke that was.
>>11234835I'm honestly surprised GameStop is even still going. >>11236262Show me Pegasus.
>>11236218Not when it's a clear homage to Metal Fight. At that point you just shrug and move on. Besides I care more about the eventual Burst homages if any.
>>11236313That was sarcasm you numbnut. Pegasus and Drago are constellations, Metal Fury even repeats this multiple times to the five year olds that don't know a thing about basic astrology. However a lot of Metal Fusion beyblades are indeed based off the zodiac. So it only makes sense for the leader of the Zodiac team to ironically wield a beyblade based off the constellation instead of something from the actual Zodiac. If anything it means there's a chance the teammates could pay omage to Saggitarius and Leone since Leon Claw/Crest is treated as its own thing and not a Metal Fight reference. Just not another dragon, we already have X and Khrome giving us more than enough of those.

So am I right in assuming the 80 ratchets are only good on stamina and defense blades? What ratchet should a hell scythe be using?
>>11236417People usually put 60 ratchets on stamina and defense combos because they don't want the ratchet to be exposed, although in my testing 80 ratchets do well with defense combos since they have more room to tilt and tank attacks, but that last one only works if tilted hard and with the blade facing the attacker.

>>11238815the leaks only said "tyranno shinobi" so I think people assumed it'd be shadow (which I mean has its own problems but at least it's something new to hasbro) or at the very least that it would be a recolor with different parts and not literally just the same one from wave 1apparently there's another 2 pack with tyranno and "triceratops?" no idea what that'd be a retooling of or if it's even the other tyranno from TT or just tyranno roar (the phoenix retooling) but we'll see
>>11238820Ah, now that you mention it, I do remember thinking it'd be nice to have a cheap Shinobi Shadow just for the collection. Yeah, that is a bit of a bummer, but maybe the Tyranno's pairing might make up for it? hahaPart of me just assumed the Tyranno was gonna be the green Beat recolor, but I wouldn't mind a recolor of Roar, either. Especially if it comes in red or green, the hopes of a T. rex deck won't have completely died.
I love the icons they went with for this generation, the stylized look reminds me of The World Ends With You pins or some skateboard graphics. The older gens were just kinda silly with how saturday morning cartoon their mascot designs were

>>11238911I still love MFB's designs, especially after they got away from the graffiti style of the initial releases. My birthday is in September, so I used to put the Virgo stickers on my Metal Faces. X's gear chips are too small to fit the hex-shape stickers, or I'd still be doing it.
>>11238655If your bey isn't whistling the first 3 seconds it's launched, you're going to lose.
Hey I'm a newbie and I wanna get into beyblades. Is this a good combo to get? I heard the launcher in the starter set is no good, so is the soar phoenix a good launcher I can use on all of them? And second, is this a good price or should I wait for a better deal on black friday?
>>11239105string launchers have their own problems, see if they have winder launchers for sale on target's site (if not then it's fine, still a massive step up from the trash the starter set comes with, but I'd consider picking one up elsewhere). At that sale price it's worth it just for soar phoenix on its own anyway. I don't think you're gonna find better prices for black friday than like 40-50% off so I'd go ahead and pull the trigger.
