i need a diablo in my collection, looking forward to the chinkshit gt

Damn Jada occasionally releases a 1/24 that is just too good to pass up. The quality is not great but for the price they're fine.
>>11211533
>>11211540
>>11211550
>>11211533Sorry but I'm not a 7 year old to enjoy some low quality 1/24 made for a playground near my house...
Mob Rod is such an underrated casting. It's a shame it's never gotten a single release outside of RLC or convention exclusives. I love how simultaneously narrow and wide it is. It looks like it could be a real car at first glance, but the more you look at it, the more you realize it's very "form over function". Peak fantasy car, imo.
>>11212362>>11212362this looks so good but seems like nowaday it's just licensed cars, doubt it'll be back anytime soon. I'd love to get the steampunk truck
>>11212525>steampunk truckThat's one of the most expensive castings I've ever bought, but damn if it wasn't worth it. Doesn't Hot Wheels have some kind of moratorium on 3-axle castings now, though?Blown Delivery is another one I'm surprised isn't a fan favorite. It's too big to be a standard release, and even if it wasn't, it would probably get stuck with all the shitty art car/promotional decos, but it's still just an oddly fun little box to vroom around.
>>11212577the Halloween one is pretty sick. I'd love to get one to go with my Halloween Evil Twin, but it's a bit beyond what I'm willing to pay, these days.
>>11212290I'm glad I'm not some stodgy old curmudgeon that can't ever imagine the possibility that something that isn't hyped on Instagram might be fun to buy.
>>11212685>stodgy old curmudgeonI'm 19 you fucking old moron...
>>11213106samesies xP
>>11211533i heard some of jada's older castings like their 50s chevys are cloned from danbury mint models, not that i can confirm, but they do look really good
Just got Matchbox green Dodge.
>>11215675I'm not sure but I think I like it even more than the orange one.
>>11215675>>11215676But to be fair it's nice to have all 3 - including anniversary edition.
>>11213854YaY!>>11213980Yes, please more low quality pics with watermarks all over them...
I bought this one yesterday on a gift shop. I thought Merc was short for Mercedes, but it's a Mercury.Anyway, good casting. Which one do you like more. Purple Passion or Drag Merc?
>>11215788>Purple Passion or Drag Merc?As far as Mercuries go, I prefer the HIrohata Merc that just came out in HW mainline. But when it comes to lead sleds, my favorite will always be Cadzzilla. Well, and Evil Twin. Actually you'd probably be hard pressed to find a lead sled I don't like.
>>11215676I think it's better, too; orange on Mopars is so overdone. And really it was bigger during the 70s and after. Green is a much better fit for the '66 Charger.I was hoping to nab the anniversary one myself, because I'm a sucker for orange/copper chrome rims, but I've still not seen any of that casting. Matchbox is such a bitch to find in my area for some reason.
>>11216551I also like that with green there's much better contrast so you can see these details such as Dodge text on hood...
>>11216775...or amazingly visible taillights with C H A R G E R text over them. In orange one that was hard to notice.
>>11216775>>11216778Oooh, that is nice. It is a shame that Matchbox seems to limit tampos on mainline models. The green one would be perfect if it had the "Charger" badge on the sail panel like the anniversary one does.
This > Candy Stripper, anyone who disagrees is a jew
>>11216551this, it was originally intended something between a muscle car and a personal luxury vehicle so a dark metallic color really fits
>>11216881I had no particular opinion on that matter, previously, but I'm bored at work so I decided to check the HW wiki and I found three decos for that casting that I like way more than either Candy "Stripper" or Dirty Blonde.
>>11217717The one at the top, don't remember the name, is really expensive, Dutch courage is a convention model, while I'm comparing RLC's, Triassic five is cool because it's actually made after a wetuskies(hw designer) personal bel air and it's also cheap, just like the dirty blonde, oh and yes, you are a jew, oh and also dirty blonde has a pretty unique gold color which looks like it's mixed with honey
>>11217785>complains and tries to disqualify objectively surperior deco for being "too expensive">accuses others of being Jewskek
>>11217788Don't take me too seriously, I'm just trying to create some activity in the thread
>>11217790
hand painited
>This over 10 Jew Strippers (all carded, low numbers)
>>11218948I saw you working on these in an earlier thread. They came out really nice, good work, man. I especially love the gold/copper rims, I'm always a sucker for that.I probably have at least three of those exact same batmobiles kicking around somewhere at my parents' house. If I come across them, maybe I'll restore them, too.
>Alreday at page numero 4Come on guys...
>Hot Wheels RLC Team now has a gay latino and a womanIt's so over...
Bruh I was just cleaning rlc's from dust and the main plastic thing from the mustang just fell off, so I guess I have a perfect clean card now, maybe I should glue it together again?
>>11220913So the glue from the 2023 release has already dried up but the glue from 2018(shipped in 2019) is still going strong, literary how?
>>11215675>>11215676>>11215677>>11216775>>11216778What model of Dodge is this?
Recent purchases, seemingly older stock
Also this Roarin Rods Series Dragster from the Happy Meals
>>11216050Oh so the Cadzilla is a real car it seems? I gotta agree with you. Slick car. But pricy on fleabay.>>11221218Nice finds. Short card TH bus from B case this year and a P or Q case Porsche fron last year. I ordered a short card C case last year and got a Godzilla GT-R.Would also post the unbelievable find from the gas station the other day, but don't have the photo any longer and have since popped some out of the package. I found 3 of the 32 Ford Super Chases and a regular Chevy Fleetline TH from this year in one hit. Check your Mobil gas stations, they might be carrying cars now. I checked some other stations, but not all are carrying cars.Side note, got a 15 minute timer to post. Wtf is up with that?
>>11216050beautiful art deco/streamline cars
>>11221214It's a Charger but 1st generation, when it was a fastback so from 1966 to 1967. Many people know only 2nd generation of Chargers (1968-1970) and I'm glad Matchbox decided to make 1st gen as well. I hope someday they make 3rd generation as well, so from 1971 to 1974.
>>11221465>Side note, got a 15 minute timer to post. Wtf is up with that?Just another wave of 4chinks shenanigans, they are experimenting with captchas a lot nowadays, but yeah never had a 15 min timer, it's usually instant
>>11221465>Oh so the Cadzilla is a real car it seems?A custom built for Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top--hence: "CadZZilla". The tailfins were designed to bridge the gap between the base car's 1940s styling with then-contemporary Cadillacs of the '80s.
>>11221229love mcshartslop castings, especially the original ones. i wonder if they're rejected designs for mainline or fully original castings made for mcdonalds
Any recent chase finds? I got this monster truck treasure hunt yesterday.Monster truck + treasure hunt + zamac. Pretty neat combination. I had to get it.
>>11222563These two look beautiful, please post more pics, especially of the red one
>>11222904>Page>1Good.
>>11222917>>11222904Documents.
I was just looking for a Testarossa earlier, but I'm starting to run out of money so it'll have to wait. This is my collection at the moment. The '77 Firebird was my most recent purchase and I've got a 1989 Batmobile on the way.
>>11222904>please post more pics, especially of the red oneok
>>11223468
>>11223471both Cadzzilla and this Plymouth Fury were from a late-90s collector line called "100% Hot Wheels", and they're legit some of the most detailed 1/64 cars I've ever seen. The interior on the Plymouth is particularly impressive.
>>11223474
I wanna post this old thing. Car is TNT btw.
>>11223474>"100% Hot Wheels"Scratch that, the name of the line was "Legends", which typically released cars in themed series. but both cars did appear in the 100% line as well.
>>11222966Is that Batmobile a chase? I haven't seen it before and I picked it up to give to a 5 year old.
>>11223593The BTAS and JL Batmobiles aren't. I have absolutely no idea about the Tumbler, but I'm assuming it was. I bought it off ebay.
>>11216050>>11222563>>11223477these are great, why don't we have castings like these anymore?Seeing constantly in the roster the usual birb 510, Z and skyline even multiple times per year is tiresome
>>11220913This is god's way of telling you that you should always open your diecast. Even the collector shit.
>>11224131They were opened bruh, I cut it precisely at the bottom with a construction knife, never understood people who keep everything or almost everything unopened, like you can be hit by a car tomorrow and that's it, goodbye to your little toys
This arrived today. Don't know whether to unbox it or not.
>>11223477I still don't know how a line from the 90's ends up better than the entire RLC
>>11222840Aye I've got this one too, the "Dark Riders Series" despite not being from the Dark Riders Series.
>>11226183They're two different things in my mind. I like RLC mostly for the neo-classics with the redlines. I like the concept of taking the old legacy Hot Wheels castings and gussying them up. Despite the fact that they're collector pieces, they have a more toy-like appeal than a highly-realistic scale model with tons of painted detail and whatnot.
>>11226447>they have a more toy-like appealI fully admit it's largely just me nostalgia-fagging over the OG Hot Wheels aesthetic, which I wasn't even born for, but I inherited a bunch of them from my older cousin and they always felt special.I actually just bought my first Neo Classics car in a while, the Lincoln Continental Mk III. Also holy shit this new phone I got cannot handle the color red at all.
>>11226714>I actually just bought my first Neo Classics car in a while, the Lincoln Continental Mk III. Also holy shit this new phone I got cannot handle the color red at all.Derp, I completely posted the wrong pic.
help i cannot decide: yellow or blue? Both look so fine: blue is so charming and unique just like the gt no.43 which it's inspired meanwhile yellow suits diablos giving it that flashy yet stylish exotic allure>daily struggle.jpg>>11226714>convoy custom>t-totallerevery time you post some jems show up, exquisite taste
>>11225721Fuck it, I unboxed it. I have no intention of re-selling any of my shit. It's sitting next to my Tumbler.
>>11227317>exquisite tastethanks. most of these pics are things I took a couple years ago when I was burning my COVID welfare checks on RLC shit.Convoy Custom and T-totaller are super underrated castings, though. I wish Convoy had an extra axle, but I guess if it's a dedicated racing truck, just two would make sense.
>>11227317Gotta go with my favorite color: blue. That metallic paint really makes the details pop as well.
Bought one of these bad lads from a seller on ebay for about £5 with delivery. I'm considering repainting it plain white, but I may just leave it as is for nostalgia's sake.
>>11227949Good lad, would love a Tumbler myself
>>11228822This is the version I've got. It's probably the best one you can get from Hot Wheels, although the front wheels look oddly wonky if you look at them close enough. Thankfully, it's not noticeable enough to be a bother if you're just keeping it as a shelf piece.
I got my Lightnings in the mail.
>>11231111Nice haul, anon!>Racer X's Shooting StarGlad to see JL's still carting out these Speed Racer castings. Their Mach 5 was a little weak, but all the others were great. I think the tiny cover on the Shooting Star's engine lifts up, but I don't remember the packaging saying anything about it when I first bought it almost 20 fucking years ago, christ.>Cobra bites man.Using old magazine ads as card art for diecast is brilliant and it should happen more often. It might actually convince me to keep things unopened. Or at least save the card afterward.>Zingers MaverickI just got the Zingers version of the Ford Country Squire police car for my station wagon collection. Stupid huge rear wheels are so fun.

What’s a good 1:64 die cast if I like real cars and wanna customize it? In other words, strip off all the paint, custom paint it, and also admittedly play with it..I bought a couple of hot wheels the other day, but I read that they’re not always 1:1, and I heard there’s better stuff out there. Idk, what do you guys think?
