Kaneki and Chainsaw Man are out for those interested. Kaenki at Target chainsaw at Walmart. There's reviews out for both.

Wake me when they do older characters.
>>
Saw another chainsaw man review yesterday, looks pretty good honestly even for someone who doesn’t care about the IP

I mean, Kaneki is pretty old. TG was popular in the early 2010s along with AoT.
>>
>>11209720
I mean their whole lineup is older anime instead of going after the current FOTM
>>
>>11209717
Yeah, this line looks pretty nice for the price point. Much better than the Anime Heroes figures. Tokyo Ghoul's a great choice since there's no competition besides the super expensive on the aftermarket SAS figure. The others released so far have to compete with SHF, Figma, and Revoltech versions, but for kids or people who don't want to spend import prices these are solid.
>>
>>11209729
No it isn't. Every single thing in their first wave is a current or very recent FOTM in the west.
Kaneki is the only one from a series that has been over for a while.
>>
>>11209729
Not really. You can still do old but popular. Give me Cowboy Bebop or Digimon or something like that, not FotM Chainsaw Man.
>>
>>11209753
>Yeah, this line looks pretty nice for the price point. Much better than the Anime Heroes figures
Not a very high bar, but these Jazwares ones are def much nicer. For only $17 at Walmart and $19 on Amazon, many are definitely worth a grab

I want to like these but the scale is fucking retarded. Im honestly baffled as to why they chose 6.5 inch. Not even 1/12 or 1/10, they just said fuck it, we'll do it in the middle.
>>
>>11209779
>Digimon
I feel like the anime heroes line clearancing might have killed this possibility. If not, sad thing is they probably would've learned nothing and pick Wargreymon for the umpteenth time.

>>11209868
Yeah, just watched a Yuji review and this is this line's biggest drawback imo. Seems closer to 1/10 than 1/12 but not quite, like the 6.75" DCC figures.
>>
Since when do weabs buy toys? They buy statue pedo crap.
>>
>>11209868
>Im honestly baffled as to why they chose 6.5 inch.
Probably because other companies have licenses for 6" for some of these animes? Doesn't Anime Heroes from Bandai do some of these same IPs?

I believe anime heroes are also closer to 6.5, when you put them next to their figuarts counterparts they're usually a bit taller. Picrel from the review in op next to anime heroes.
>>
>>11209878
Huh, maybe some other lines then like some or McFarlane's or SHF maybe that has a broader license that would overlap with what Jazwares is targeting?

Legends, multiverse, jada street fighter, shf
>>
>>11209858
Well, yeh. Is that a bad thing to want? I doubt many people are going to be talking about Chainsaw Man 25 years from now.
>>
>>11209923
Probably not, but there is obviously still demand for product from modern anime. Retailers likely prefer more recent stuff to old animes as well.
>>
>>11209880
I have a Beelzemon on the motercycle McFarlane put out and it looks decent, while Legends look too small on it.
>>
>>11209923
No, but the fact is that newer stuff sells better.

Shitty joints or?

I'm not a big Sonic fan but I really want pissed off Sonic.
>>
>>11209961
Nearly every action figure commercial or package says random shit like that. They mean you can't put it into a jumping pose and have it levitate in the air on its own
>>
>>11209958
Sonic with eyelids is really weird.

>>

Yes. All manufacturers do stuff like that. It's the 'cover our asses' marketing lingo so they can't be sued for misleading advertising. Same reason packages always have some version of "Product colors and details may vary from what is shown"
>>
>>11209976
I'm pretty sure that animation doesn't even have eyelids in the game.
>>
>>11209991
cool. I'm still serious, though. The aspect makes most sense

this
>>
Are they gonna do more?
>>
>>11209717
I was going to get the Kaneki, but it's a Target in-store exclusive, apparently, and I'm not an American, so whatever.
>>
>>11219278
Yea, they're just starting. The initial news report said they had something like 17(?) series and there's only been 6 so far. And then some of the series like mha will have more potential for many more figures than something like spy family.

Ordered Denji myself. Not sure if I'll get more though unless we get more Weapon Devils.

>>11209864
>>11209890
At least with Denji you can easily fudge him into a display with his CSM form and I like having a cheaper option that can stand a little more play and still pose well. Not sure if I'd get any others since there's clearly better options but it looks like decent effort for anyone on a budget.

I like him already. Why are all the other devils so boring? I also don't get how Katana Devil is the villain with such a disadvantageous design, and that Chainsaw Man would've been better as a villain
>>
So are they just gonna do one main character per license? Tbh I think for most shonens I prefer supporting characters over the MC so I hope there is more. They need to start making some waifus...
>>
I got the Yuji from this line, and for a 17 dollar toy, I'm very happy with it. I like the airbrushing on his clothes, his articulation is pretty great and I like how they did his hair. My only real complaint is the printed Sukuna mouths in his one hand and face don't look great.
I like the hidden peg hope for a stand though.

I really hope they'll do more than the main characters. The Deku is so good, I'd love a Bakugo to upgrade mine from the "Anime Heroes" line.
>>
>>11222111
I got one shipped to Germany and it ended up having the elbow and bicep swivel glued. Jazwares is sending me a replacement eventually. I'd love to see them do a nice All Might some day.

I want Froggy
>>
>>11224901
Yeah I don't care who does Froppy at this point, just anyone please.
>>
I hope they do a wave 2 since these figures are gonna sell pretty much well and I hope they do various animes from different eras than just shonen or morden day animes.

Evangelion comes to mind because of the figma Asuka which just has her test plug suit and the revoltech Rei which both of these figures are by different companies and their not meant to scale with each other.

I wish they will also do older anime characters from the 90s where as some anime characters didn't get proper figures but just statues of them.
>>
Just started Dandadan and I'd love to see these guys try their hand at Okarun's trasformation.
>>

I want a grandma toy instead
